We need to see more competition in the French league to make it increase its rating in the European football environment. Rennes win against PSG excited me because last season the latter had a free run but this season looks very different. Rennes really surprised me because they defended and attacked effectively. The catalogue of world class players in the team became ineffective because of Rennes' desperation and diligence. But from the look of things in terms or quality and financial strength, I feel no team might be able to unseat the current champions. We saw them outplaying Angers, which is a clear indication that they are still the number one in France.

I think PSG will still able to maintain their mentally although they lose from Lens and Rennes because last season too PSG also has been defeated several times but at the end of season PSG can managed their performance and finish at first position and after this losses too i think PSG will bounce back and will gets another winning results but my questions is for their contender that can they will be able to playing consistent until end of this season or not because although Rennes and Lens can able to beat PSG but while against other teams sometimes they losing points even against small teams and in my opinion although probably we will see another losses from PSG for their upcoming matches but they will still be champion

First of all, what's important for us to know is that a strong team won't always win every game after game. there are times, they experience some problems that make it difficult to perform at their best.

If we refer to the Rennes vs PSG match, this match should have been won by the Galtier squad. after all, the home team really played with a defensive pattern, when PSG had the ball, Rennes made movements without the ball in a 5-4-1 formation pattern. which in the end, PSG found it difficult to break into the home team's defense which was so tight. plus, Galtier prefers to experiment in this match rather than playing his main starting line-up.

maybe, Galtier is measuring the strength of his team by playing Hugo Ekitike as the main starter. unfortunately, Galtier's experiment failed with the 3-4-2-1 formation pattern he applied. plus, PSG's midfield players play unproductively against teams that tend to defend. I am still optimistic, PSG will still have the chance to be one of the strongest challengers in the Champions League competition.

Speaking of Lens, we have to admit that Bruno Genesio's squad have performed very well this season. however, their steps to get closer to the points owned by PSG are likely to experience many disturbances in future matches. so let's see if Lens can go even further, or they will have a hard time maintaining their ranking.

Losing to the 2 clubs at the top of the standings seems to make PSG a little frustrated, because now the difference in points from these clubs is getting smaller and it is inevitable if in a few matches later the club can overtake PSG at the top of the standings. Lens, Rennes, Marseille and Monaco are clubs who are currently experiencing very good form and all could still have a chance to win Ligue 1 if PSG continue to experience poor results.

It's been looking interesting for the French League this season, but PSG still has a chance to maintain its position at the top of the standings by keeping itself from losing and drawing more in the remaining matches this season. And PSG also have to win often for this reason because their rivals this season will definitely continue to try to get rid of PSG from the top of the standings, especially if the points are not too far apart as seen now in the temporary standings.

PSG has got so many critics after it was losing against rennes. The problem is even with world class trio but the team was not able to beat rennes. That proves that world class player was not anything for sure. People were seeing those trio as everything right now while the fact that if those trie were the same like another ordinary players. PSG can also be beaten by the team like rennes. PSG needs to solve the problem on its defenders. It seems like that PSG's defenders were not strong enough.

A bit of a problem always occurs when some of the core players cannot be in the main squad to compete which makes them and Galtier a little confused about what scheme to choose.
Without Neymar and Messi boomeranged when they were crushed at the hands of Lens, and now without Mbappe they can't do much either.
For the Champions League, even though they have a complete squad, I'm still not too sure about them and now added to this condition, even though they are said to be one of the clear candidates, this further lowers my confidence, especially since the Champions League is only 1 month away and their performance is still not progressing after World Cup.

Some clubs have been trying to improve their performance like rennes and lens. Both of clubs were able defeating PSG. It seems like that PSG must be careaful caused by those teams were able surpassing PSG anytime. PSG must also try to make its defend become even more sustainable caused by PSG was losing a few times against rennes and lens. PSG shall have learned from the result against those teams.

I have no confidence in PSG's performance. They lost in Ligue 1 against Lens and Rennes. And for them it was very necessary to win both these matches. They failed to win. However, they did not have a full strength squad in both the matches. However, I would say that the Ligue 1 title is becoming increasingly difficult for PSG now that they have dropped points in these two matches. Losing more points in the upcoming matches will make it challenging for them to win the title.

PSG is not a weak team. But their performance is not stable. I saw PSG's performance in the Champions League. They played very well. However, their performance has deteriorated after the World Cup break. I don't know why PSG's performance has deteriorated so much despite having three of the best players in the World Cup, Messi, Mbappe and Neymar in attack. But if this trio is able to play well, PSG can break the defense of any strong team. Galtier has more work to do. His main challenge now is to find out the team's weaknesses. Galtier can't stabilize the team if he can't find the team's weaknesses.

I don't think other teams can overtake PSG in Ligue 1 for long if ever this happens. I am worried that with such performance PSG cannot go far in Champions League..
Imagine losing vs a medium team in their domestic league then facing Bayern, it will be a massacre..
Huge budget and spending. Neymar, Messi, Mbappe, big names among others in PSG, yet they aren't far from teams having less known players and lesser budgets

We are not sure if PSG will win against Bayern Munich. Bayern Munich is one of the strongest clubs in the Champions League. PSG are very strong but a win against Bayern Munich is challenging for any team. The win won't be easy for PSG. But it is not impossible.

Galtier continues to try to stabilize the PSG squad. Even then he could not succeed. There are many star players in the team. And strengthening the bonds between the star players has become Galtier's most difficult task. However, I believe that PSG's performance will be stronger if the friendship between Mbappe and Neymar develops.

PSG is only 3 points ahead of Lens in Ligue 1. However, I don't think it will be too difficult for PSG to win the Ligue 1 title. But it will become difficult if PSG drops points in a series of matches. Lens performance is now very stable.

It's seems psg players are totally out of focus especially after the world cup break, they wasted many points that could make them regret if they don't recover their real level especially because they will have a very important match against Bayern munchen next month

The French league is becoming Interesting this season because  some teams are trying their best to meet PSG position.  If Lens succeed in taking PSG  position it will look somehow because PSG has 3 best players that by right the first is supposed to occupied and maintained by PSG.

At this point, I really don't get what the problem is with PSG. Is it their lack of chemistry in the attack in the trio? Or is it their lack of quality midfielders involved in the build-up? Or is it that Mauricio Pochettino is not being able to coach them properly and set the right tactics?

At this point, I really think that all of these are accumulatively becoming problems for PSG. Losing against a mid-tier team like Rennes is unacceptable from a team who has world-class players in fact the best players in the world. I will not be surprised if PSG fails to win the league.

Isn't that the best thing for them because if they balance PSG's game by playing openly I think the conditions will be different. but Genesio is smart in this regard, they prefer to wait for PSG to be in their area of defense and immediately make quick counterattacks that are difficult to anticipate. It proved more worth it. The opportunities they generated were much better than PSG, even though only one goal was created, it was enough for them and they immediately defended tightly.

I think it's just a small bumb for PSG especially after the world cup break, most of them seemed a bit lost and didn't try that much, plus Messi and Neymar did not play against Lens and Mbappe didn't play alongside them against Rennes from the start of the match, which definitely affected their rhythm, but I'm pretty sure it's about time they get back as good as they were, hopefully before facing Bayern Munich.

And I will add that PSG lost the group in the Champions League to Benfica and now they will play with Bayern, although they could get Brugge.
I don't think that PSG will have problems with the title in Ligue 1 (although everyone expected more dominance) but if they fly out from the 1/8 of the Champions League again, then Galtier will be extremely weak and he will most likely leave the club.
But I don't see any fault Galtier - he got the club with a certain model set by the owners. There are many players with "special" rights here, so the head coach can do little.

Even their chances in this match can be said to be minimal in my opinion even though they have the ball but seeing them play is like losing their way in attack. Unlike Rennes, who played much better in terms of opportunities and shots on target, even though they only played defensively and relied on counterattacks, in terms of opportunities, they were much better than PSG in this match.

This week will be a week that might be a moment for Paris Saint-Germain to revive after suffering defeat last week. Reims will be their next opponent, judging by the strength of the club, I think the situation will still be the same, namely putting Paris Saint-Germain as the favourites. Moreover, this will be a match that will be held at home to Paris Saint-Germain. They had to pay for their defeat last week by winning again this week. Also if they can't win, it will really threaten their position in the standings. So 3 points are what they must achieve in their home match.
