The new season is starting tomorrow. The opening game is Le Havre - PSG. What do you think about the potential result? Would PSG make a start with a win in his first season without Mbappe?  Huh

PSG still couldn't bring a replacement for Mbappe. They don't seem like they are in a hurry either. They aren't even rushing for new transfers. The only transfer attracted my attention is Joao Neves.

Willian Pacho and Matyev Safonov are players about whom I don't know anything.  Sad  All of these players are young. I see PSG's point but I think they should bring some star players too for bigger successes.

After Mbappe left PSG I thought Luis Enrique would surely find a worthy replacement for Mbappe. Luis Enrique is a very experienced coach, as well as PSG has a lot of money. PSG management has never skimped on spending money. But PSG are likely to start the season without a suitable replacement for Mbappe.

Last season we saw PSG's overall performance without Mbappe stagnate as Luis Enrique experimented with the squad. But PSG team cannot perform well without Mbappe. We still don't know how PSG will perform next season. But PSG squad has talented players like Ramos, Dembele, Asensio and Kolo Muani. Even if they don't do well in the Champions League, I think PSG will dominate Ligue 1.
What happens is that finding someone like Mbappé is Extremely difficult, because Mbappé is a player with very peculiar characteristics, he is a player who at any Moment defines any match, he does any type of things to win, just as he did to win, so this is the player who can be decisive, until now the relationship with the other Madrid players has been Good , they have not had problems, because we have all thought that Mbappé can cause problems because of his ego, but with respect to PSG he has to change everything, his strategy and Everything.

Regarding Mbappe and his replacement, they can't find the player at this level anymore. Even if they find a player they won't be able to make the other teams to put that player for sale and let that player join PSG.
I remember when Mbappe left PSG Enrique said something about Mbappe and his replacement. Mbappe is not a player to find alternative players for him and Enrique said they will try to fill the palace of Mbappe in PSG by teamwork.

PSG will fumbled if they failed to filled up the vacant space left open by the outgoing player. Kylian Mbappe is crucially important for Paris Saint-Germain and selling him to Real Madrid was simply an unwise decision but its not the fault of Les Parisiens because the Frenchman was keen on a move after rejecting new contract extension with PSG. The club's president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi did everything within his power to convince Mbappe but it seems his mind was already made up and triggered the bold move to join Real Madrid. He's a very promising player and the better replacement of Ronaldo and Messi in the current day European football.

Basically PSG remains the favorite team to win despite playing away, because in the last season also that Le Havre is a team that struggles in the lower zone of the standings. But even so, it looks like Le Havre may also have enough ability to be able to surprise too. Because after all, last season also that Le Havre managed to hold PSG to a draw with a score of 3-3 at their second meeting last season, but for their first meeting last season PSG won with a score of 2-0.

But indeed, it will certainly be interesting to look forward to what it will be like or how PSG will perform next season that Mbappe has really left. Unlike last season, although Mbappe was also not in the team at the beginning of the season and was quite often benched. But because last season Mbappe was still in the PSG squad, then when PSG got a deadlock of course there was still Mbappe who was ready to score goals. But for next season, I personally still won't be able to predict it, but about the first match against Le Havre, I will still choose PSG to win.

I also do not deny that PSG can indeed buy any player they want at a price that is not low, but this factor is not the only way that PSG can use to get good players because PSG must also have an agreement with other teams regarding any player and must also see the interest of certain players to want to be at PSG before recruiting them. Mbappe's move to another team from PSG not only weakens the line, but it can also be a trigger for other players who may be a little reluctant to be at PSG when they are young, but it will be a different story if there are players who are more interested in money than their own careers in other competitions.

I don't think it would be wise for PSG to spend too much money trying to replace Mbappe. They should not go for a direct replacement for someone playing in his wing but they should restructure the team in the way that the players will be playing as a team and not be depending on only one player as they were doing when Mbappe was still playing at the club. PSG should sign new players but they shouldn't only go for star players as they use to do because they'll be more costly and there's no guaranteed of them delivering for PSG just as Messi, and Neymar could not win the champions league that they were signed for. Every player at the club both the old players and the new ones that'll get signed needs to start contributing to the team. PSG were winning the league before Mbappe came and they can still win the league after he has left the club hence PSG wouldn't be affected by his departure.

On the one hand, it's actually quite boring to talk about Mbappe's move to Real Madrid, but on the other hand, it's also very interesting when we fry Paris Saint Germain because they watched their favorite player win his first trophy with Real Madrid. Lol

https://x.com/realmadrid/status/1824000576071299544

Look at the man who was defended tooth and nail by Paris Saint Germain last season, now he's wearing a Real Madrid uniform and has also won a trophy in his debut match with his new team. I don't mean to belittle Paris Saint Germain, but looking at what Real Madrid has, then at Real Madrid Mbappe's chances of winning more prestigious titles are even greater. Paris Saint Germain must share in the joy that Mbappe is feeling right now, I think that's the best way for them. After all, they have to be willing to see their mainstay player succeed with another team.
What Mbappe has achieved now is of course the result of his decision to leave for a team that has a winning mentality in Europe and of course there will be PSG fans who may be hurt by what Mbappe has achieved,  this make a Trophy Uefa Super is the first European trophy that he got during his football career, so we can imagine how happy he is right now and it probably will be the same as Kane if he gets the first trophy in his career, although Mbappe didn't win the Champions League trophy, but now he has won the UEFA Super Trophy and clearly that will be a the story that will be told by him in the future Grin.

So far, PSG has been too dependent on Mbappe so it's not surprising that they miss him so much now and isn't it quite painful to see him go straight to winning trophies with Madrid in first season?
PSG have tried to defend him desperately but Mbappe desire to leave is much greater, but even so, I think Mbappe decision to leave for Madrid is a little late because if he accepts Madrid offer in the 2022 season then at least for now he has won several trophies with Madrid.

I don't see any possibility of Lamine Yamal joining PSG. Lamine Yamal is a very talented young player. It is admirable that Lamine Yamal is performing so well at just 17 years of age. But at the moment he will definitely not go to a team like PSG. Even if PSG offers high wages to Lamine Yamal, Yamal will not go to PSG.

We saw Lamine Yamal perform well last season with Barcelona. And Hansi Flick is trying to get Nico Williams into the squad. Because we have seen excellent performances from this duo in the Spain squad. In such a situation, Lamine Yamal will definitely not make the wrong decision to go to PSG. Also, La Liga is more advanced and competitive than Ligue 1.
Now we have less than one day into opening game of the PSG with Le Havre, and we have no potential striker into this squad look like Luis Enrique is going to have new experiment, and he will try to go ahead with his available players which could be interesting because as things are going we will be having no big name in this club for the first time in years.

Victor Osimhen and Lamine Yamal both are out of their way, and we have no big name who can join here in this league even we all know this offer can bring good financial news for the Barcelona, but they are preferring promising player for having career in Barcelona now how things will be gone in PSG this will be also interesting for them because this season is going to be not easy for them.

Rayane Messi? It seems like his parents were inspired by one of the GOATs and none other than Lionel Messi. Grin

Strasbourg doesn't seem to want to be left behind this summer and they have brought in Rayane Messi who is still 17 years old from U19 Dijon for a fee of 1.5m euros. Surely he will be projected as a club academy player but it is possible that he will also make his debut in the main team.

His contract will run until 2027 and this will be a long-term investment for Strasbourg. His position is a winger and he can fill the left or right wing position. There are no other statistics considering that he came from another club's academy and we can see his abilities with Strasbourg next season.

I think PSG can still be seen as a jumping-off point. Of course, they can achieve more statistics in the French league because it is a league that seems easier than other leagues. PSG is also the strongest team in this league. I think PSG would be the best first stop for a young Frenchman. Mbappe was one of those players who thought like that and now he went to Real Madrid as one of the best in the world. I think it is still a good choice to be at PSG.
The very low level of competition in Ligue 1 means that PSG always win trophies almost every season. The situation experienced by PSG in the domestic league makes it difficult for them to compete in the Champions League because they are used to low competition, when they go to a very competitive league, they will be surprised by the abilities of other teams.
Mbappe great potential was already visible when PSG recruited him from Monaco, PSG also did not choose young players carelessly because each player has different qualities. If young French players are able to show their skills and abilities, maybe they will get a chance, but they must be able to show their best performance if they want to be promoted to the main squad.

If their target is limited to the France league then there is no need to sign any new players because with the team they currently have they will definitely write France and win the championship. But if they plan on Champions League tournament outside of this tournament then they must recruit good quality players. Earlier they wasted a lot of money now if they spend some money then that money will not go astray because the manager they have now will not hire any wrong player to their club. If the management gives Luis Enrique financial freedom then the current manager can make this team much stronger. But if there is a limitation in spending money then it will be very difficult for Luis Enrique to take this team to a good level.
Even without Mbappé, PSG dominates Ligue 1. They have a strong roster and the funds to maintain it. Champions League is never their league. The top of club football is the big leagues. Correct: they're recruiting youthful talent. Smart move. It demonstrates their long-term vision of a dynasty. Manchester City didnt win the Champions League overnight. Years of planning and strategic investment were needed.

Luis Enrique is now a great manager. Give him the resources and let him work his magic, and PSG could dominate Europe. Not just throwing money at the problem. Teamwork and winning mentality are key. Is PSG on track? Absolutely. Have they arrived? Not exactly. But they're making smart moves that will lead to success. That distinguishes pretenders from contenders.

I agree because looking at what is in the current PSG squad with their strength in terms of financial and individual players actually for Ligue 1 they are still quite luxurious and will still be difficult to compete with even though there is no Mbappe for next season but some players still have skills above average so for Ligue 1 actually it is very enough.
But of course the hope is not limited to that, PSG is currently one of the clubs that is still considered big, especially with its financial strength so they definitely still want more in terms of recognition and the Champions League is one way for them to be recognized.
With their strength now although it is still very good but I am quite sure it will not be enough because apart from players and coaches, there is experience which is another factor if you really want them to be in better condition. By looking at that, of course there must be several players who must enter in the transfer season this time which unfortunately they still haven't done.
Even I have to be agreed about this but PSG is never been work for their domestic workout usually they are having target to win Champions League but now in this season what is their tactics it's fascinating because no one having any idea about them with mostly their players are quality and can give them good results in early rounds of the Champions League but in last rounds they need to have good quality without this it's never been easy for them to go through for the good results.

But here maybe we will have some changes in January transfer window because currently things are not going as they are looking for so they can change their strategy in coming days after having good results into early rounds of this season with in domestic league no team will be challenge them.
Now it looks like for this transfer saga PSG will only remain passive where they will only improve the midfield and defense according to what they brought in this transfer for Joao Neves, William Pacho and Safonov but for the attack line they will still let the same players (minus Mbappe).
The Champions League target is still there, it's just that the target is increasingly not easy for them to realize especially with their strength which is definitely reduced due to Mbappe's absence which will have an impact on the attack scheme and formation later, so their probability has definitely decreased for now.
Since the beginning of the Champions League they have always been left behind, especially the Champions League benchmarks are still in Madrid and Manchester City and now it will make them even less in terms of probability considering that PSG in recent seasons has always been synonymous with Mbappe and Mbappe's absence in the squad next season, it is clear that it will reduce their probability greatly.

I don't think there will be any limitations for Paris Saint Germain. PSG is a team with a strong economy that can buy players without any limitations. They are trying to make up for Mbappe's absence and this will be very important for them. It is very important who will fill that wing and forward area. Even if they fill this area alone, they will become an important European team again.
I also do not deny that PSG can indeed buy any player they want at a price that is not low, but this factor is not the only way that PSG can use to get good players because PSG must also have an agreement with other teams regarding any player and must also see the interest of certain players to want to be at PSG before recruiting them. Messi has left PSG, Neymar has left, Ramos has left, Mbappe has left this season and I still consider this team to be one of the favorites in Ligue 1. So far, there is no team in this league that can overtake PSG in the title race. As in other seasons, next season too PSG will be at the top of the points table and they will secure the France League title.

Several players left PSG but we feel like maybe PSG will not plan any more with their team but they will definitely plan with the team. Earlier they used to build teams without thinking but now they think twice before making a deal because their club now has a quality manager.
Looking forward to a big deal from PSG, the deal will be a successful one.
Yes, it seems that PSG will no longer make a breakthrough by bringing in a number of big players like the last few seasons. PSG is still the favorite in League 1 and it seems difficult to compete with them even though they no longer have a player as great as Mbappe. Luis Enrique will also be more free to manage the team because there is no longer major intervention in the team like when Mbappe was still there.
If their target is limited to the France league then there is no need to sign any new players because with the team they currently have they will definitely write France and win the championship. [...] Marseille is going to have first game tougher as they will be visited Brest who was at his best in last season and having spot into Champions League things could be entertaining in this game because this will give prediction about Marseille how their season will be.
Brest is not a terrible opponent for Marseille, their long history of meetings can be proof that Marseille is more dominant than Brest even though Marseille is playing away. Odds on this match are @2.8 for Brest & @2.49 for Marseille, not that far, last season was too scary for Marseille, but with new players coming in, Marseille can definitely win against Brest.
Brest will not make a tough opponent for Marseille not especially with the new Marseille squad that has been fortified to stand against PSG as their like, I believe that Marseille will do much better as most of the new players will be having this game as their debut and wouldn't want to for any reason jeopardize their chances to win the games and appear to having a good starting for the season.

Last season Brest's performance was better than Marseille's. Brest was third in the table and Marseille was eighth in the table. However, this season Marseille management has tried to strengthen their squad. Elye added Wahi and Greenwood to the squad to strengthen the squad. Marseille spent 25 million to add Wahi to the squad and 26 million for Greenwood. For a club like Marseille, this means a huge amount.

Marseille will fight for the top spot in the table next season. So strengthening the squad was crucial for Marseille. Marseille's performances in previous seasons were erratic and poor due to the forward's players. This is why Marseille have strengthened their forward line this season. Looking forward to see how Elye Wahi and greenwood perform in Marseille.

You should look at the summer of 2017, PSG caused a stir when they spent 222 million euros to break Neymar's contract with Barcelona. Barcelona just watched bitterly as PSG snatched Neymar from their hands. PSG believes that only Yamal has the potential to replace Kylian Mbappe. To have Yamal, PSG clearly understands that they need to have an offer that is so strong that their partner cannot refuse, enough for Barcelona to consider. In the context of not yet escaping the financial crisis, is 250 million euros enough? 250 million euros will help Barcelona do a lot of things. I believe that things can change with a lot of money. If Barcelona does not have a reasonable strategy for buying and selling players, I think Barcelona will fall into adversity again. What they need to do now is balance their finances. They need to learn how to make money from players, otherwise they will go bankrupt. Of course, Barcelona's budget is not empty yet, but it is only a matter of time.
PSG made a big mistake when they put high hopes on Mbappe, they believed that Mbappe would continue to stay at Parc des Princes with all the luxuries offered, from a high salary to other facilities. Now they have to bear the loss because they did not get any money from Mbappe departure to Real Madrid. PSG are used to signing big-money players, their bid for Yamal would again break their previous transfer record when they signed Neymar from Barcelona. The offer is very tempting, but Barcelona has no intention of releasing its young star despite receiving a high offer. PSG must look for other targets before the transfer window closes, bringing in quality players needs to be prioritized so that they can compete with other teams in the Champions League.
But it can't be said as mistake because it is only natural that PSG has high hopes for Mbappe because he is the only player that PSG has relied on the most so far in achieving victory or several championship titles.
Previously, no one knew that Mbappe would leave PSG like this because the initial goal of bringing in Mbappe was to strengthen the team and be able to win the Ligue 1 or UCL title.
Departure of players from football team is natural thing, PSG did not do anything wrong and they should not be disappointed by all of this because Mbappe departure was his own decision.
Now what PSG needs to do is to see all the potential of young players, they must focus on this and not make the mistake of spending large amounts of money on players who cannot be relied on in the future.
