I think Messi will not return to Barcelona. Barcelona doesn't have enough money right now. Moreover, Barcelona has experienced players like Lewandowski and Aubameyang in their squad. As well as promising young players like Fati and Rafinha. So Barcelona doesn't need Messi right now. Messi may extend his contract with PSG.
Messi still has a contract with PSG and it seems difficult for PSG to release messi at any price as long as messi is still a PSG player, except maybe if later messi and PSG have terminated the contract so that messi can leave freely of course the chance of messi returning to barcelona could happen , but considering the current situation of Barcelona I think the chances of Messi returning to Barcelona are very unlikely because now Messi is comfortable at PSG.

Paris SG is too good a team for this league. So no matter how good Marseille and Lille are, Paris SG is the strongest contender for the title. I'm thinking of Paris SG as they won the league by a wide margin this year. We saw once again how good they were in the match where Paris SG won 5-0 in the first week.
Besides that, I just saw Messi going to be a person who like he was in Barcelona. 2 goals in the opening match is a good start for people like his age, I also had doubts about him because of the rumors back to Barca, but he proves it still the best. So, I do not doubt, that PSG will be the same club as the previous one, we have to wait what Galtier's strategy besides Ligue 1 like Champions League.
Messi goal-scoring instinct is still very strong, no one has ever doubted Messi's quality in terms of scoring goals. In terms of sharpness has greatly decreased, Messi is not able to run like he used to again by passing several players at once because of the age factor. Messi's experience and ability can still contribute to PSG, but he will find it difficult to become the top scorer at PSG because he is no longer able to pursue individual awards like when he was at Barcelona.
Messi has good experience besides that PSG squad is the best this world, I personally not surprised he can score 2 goals. You're right Messi can't run nimbly and aggressively like the past because he's 35 years old but not only that, he doesn't run because he often observes his opponents and his team, I'm sure after he hangs up his boots he will have a career as a coach in the future.

I'm sure Messi won't return to Barca because Lewandowski and Aubameyang are already there, although the rumors about Messi returning to Barca in 2023 are getting stronger. I'm even sure Messi will be at PSG until he retires.

Right now, nothing is sure because few days back Barcelona President announces he wants Messi back in his team and want to give him a good farewell because they fail to do this last time, so now they want to give honor but as things are going we can't predict about this all what will happen because if Barcelona fail to do good performance in coming season then surely they can face big disaster and this is going to be not good for anyone and if PSG having some good results in this season then surely they will try to keep Messi here in team for another season or may be until end of his career.

For all updates we have to wait for time even right now Barcelona is having few quality players, and they are going to be the most lethal team in la liga but still rumors are about their future and performance, hopefully all will be ok for them.

Marseille officially get Inter Milan player Alexis Sanchez and they get this player with free transfer status because he and Inter agree to ended his contract and after failed in Manchester United and Inter Milan Sanchez want to fix his career with joining Marseille but i don't know he will be good buy or not because previously he had serious injured history and besides that Marseille already have good strikers such as Luis Suarez or cengiz ünder
Alexis Sanchez still has advantages and can still be relied on even though he has a history of injuries as we all know. I think the presence of Sanchez in the Marseille squad can make a difference even though Marseille already has Luis Suarez. Sanchez can be played as a winger with nder who both still have speed.

Olympique Marseille are one of the teams that have been very active in the transfer window, and about Alexis Sánchez I think his performance has continued to decline after leaving Barcelona. Indeed, from the existing records at least Alexis Sánchez's performance was very good when he was still at Manchester United, but because Alexis Sánchez did not give any titles at Manchester United then it was a decline in the quality of his career. Because even when Sánchez played at Arsenal, Alexis Sánchez still won 2x FA Cup titles, but apart from Alexis Sánchez who is 33 years old now. I think playing for Marseille is not the right choice, because the gameplay in Ligue 1 is quite hard. So, if Sánchez does have a history of serious injuries, then this is not the right team but let's see how far Sánchez can play well and safely for Marseille.

You can look at it from the other side: it's not PSG that's good (I would say it's bad because it's bad to be a cheater), but the control of the FFP by the corrupt UEFA is very bad. If the rules of the FFP were followed then PSG would be at the level of the rest of the French teams (maybe a little better). Now they are just an expensive toy in the hands of sheikhs.
They have literally inf amount of money and they were reported to FFP many times, including twice at least by Barcelona, but AFAIK, the situation in France is different from Spain. The way of counting the spending per season is different or something like that, I forgot exactly, but Ligue 1 is way easier to avoid problems comparing to La Liga where the rules are harder.

FFP rules are global (individual leagues have local rules/clarifications to them, but this does not cancel global FFP). PSG escaped punishment for their violations only on formal procedural grounds. UEFA was unable to bring charges within the required time frame, so the case was closed. But the fact that PSG violated these rules is not disputed by anyone.

On the next week of the season I think that Monaco - Rennes match is an attracting one. These two teams fought with each other for the positions in top four last season. They both had a really good run too. Looking at this season, I see that Monaco started nicely when Rennes didn't. Rennes lost to Lorient in a home match. They might still have something to figure out and Monaco can turn this into an advantage. Monaco have the advantage psychologically too as they defeated Rennes two times in the league last season. I think they will win again.

Actually, if you talk about Paris Saint Germain in Ligue 1, you can almost say it's already theirs. How they have such a fancy line-up, I think that is an advantage that other teams don't have. They have very stable finances so they can get the players they want, even at high prices.
Their strengths must be proven in a stronger and more competitive competition. But are you sure PSG can do that?

Psg is very good and the league is theirs to lose, but i think we can ask for better competition, even if we all know the outcome will be psg winning the league, but the other stronger teams can give the viewers something to cheer and look forward to, it is too straightforward a pattern which makes the league boring, but if we get to watch teams come a little bit close to psg and make them sweat, then more people will be interested in the league and it will get more popularity than it has now. Yeah they beat Clermont 5-0, nobody expected anything else, the opposition are too weak, but we can ask of Marseille, Lille, Monaco to please make the league a little bit more competitive and interesting.

Even though it is very likely that PSG will win the Ligue 1 trophy again, at least I hope that several teams can give maximum resistance.
So it looks like what you said Ligue 1 will look more interesting to watch. If when PSG beat Clermont with a big score, I can still understand it,
because Clermont is on a very different level from PSG. But when PSG faced some strong teams in Ligue 1, I would like to see teams like
Marseille, Monaco, Lille, Lyon and Nice able to put up a fight against PSG. It doesn't matter if it's finally defeated by PSG, but at least don't
let it be defeated by PSG with a big score. Indeed many people say Ligue 1 is uncompetitive and boring because the winner is known from
the start. But it's better as a football fan don't focus too much on winning or losing, it's how the game goes that matters. Because an entertaining
match is how the teams that play can bring out their best game.

Psg, lille and marseille teams seems in a really good shape they all Win comfortably i know psg will still likely win the ligue 1 but still if there are multiple teams in a great shape we will see a more exciting season, messi and neymar duo seem to be working well and when mbappe join it will be the strongest psg attack ever.

No doubt these three teams won their opening matches with a very good goal margin and we can clearly see that they came prepared for the new season. As for who will win the League this season, I see PSG as a contender for the league am not going to say they will win it because it's too early to decide whether they can maintain the form and quality performance they displayed in the first game of the season   and Marseille, and Lille too may stand as a major challenger in the league that is if they continue to perform well and win matches. The combination of Messi Neymar and Mbappe in the attacks makes PSG unstoppable in every match but most times things may not work out as planned due to a drop in form and injuries.

I agree that there’s a 99% chance that PSG will be winning this league again, and with Messi returning to form it’ll be a major boost for the club hence other teams will have to step up their game to delay PSG from winning the title. Furthermore if Neymar remains fit for the entire season then he’ll be unstoppable, and after the opening match it’s clear to see that he’s playing with extra motivation which is only bad news for the other team’s.

Indeed it is like that, for now I have seen how Marseille has played and I have a lot of faith in it, and I don't know, but I am very intrigued by what Lyon can offer this season, because it really is another team that has been showing very little what he can do, it really is something that he has given me, I don't know if it will be a hunch, but for me if a team comes out that gives PSG a lot of competition and makes it difficult for them I would be very pleased, because it is as you say, they have a Neymar and Messi connected, but we all know that PSG has been revolving only around Mbappé, in fact they said No to CR7 because the PSG CR7 project does not fit him, so obviously they are betting on the youth .

For this reason it is that when Messi and Neymar don't contribute as much as they want due to their age, it is where the other teams must take advantage of such weakness, and I see both Marseille and Lyon as the two good options.

Right but let's face it, the problem is this: if a team really manages to compete with PSG over the course of a whole season for rank 1, it usually doesn't mean that the other team was super strong. What it usually means is that PSG was super weak. And that in turn is something nobody wants to see either. The devil is in the details here. It's all good if there is competition, but under normal circumstances there is not.

There was one season when Mbappe became the shining star. Monaco was REALLY strong that season, no doubt. But given the squads on paper, a season where PSG is not going to make it must be an awful season to watch (in most cases) when you actually are a fan of Messi, Neymar, Mbabbe and alike to celebrate their superstar football.

We'll see what the next months will bring, but I am honestly one of those guys who is already looking forward to the final stage of the CL games Tongue

What I liked the most about the first game day in Ligue 1 was actually the shape in which Messi has been. That was really promising for the rest of the season. The last season I felt that it might be finally over for the biggest genius soccer has ever seen, but that game was full of dribblings, clever passings (the one to Neymar in the back of the box), and also his goals. Really refreshing to see that and I truly hope we'll see a Messi who may not be as good as in his old days, but still can be the sneakiest and most intelligent player on the pitch.
Messi performance on this season looks promising after he was success scored two goals and one assist on first match, I think he will have different performance and result than last season. Actually I brave for predicting with Lionel Messi become top scorer on Ligue 1 although looks still early because just have one match only on Ligue 1. Lionel Messi have adapt with Ligue 1 culture and atmosphere, right now he know how can adapt with Ligue 1 games and can consistent keep showing the best performance for goals and assist contribution with PSG.
That's mainly because he is more used to the team and the tactic feels a lot more closer. If you keep using messi like this then he is going to score a lot more. Weird thing is, the striker is not used a lot in this case and Mbappe may feel the hurt for it later on, not going to be great year for him unless he creates goals for himself and we all know that he could do that anytime he wants so it shouldn't really be a big problem to be fair but not designed for him.

Messi-Neymar-Mbappe trio will have a field day in the league this season for sure, not all games will be 5-0 of course but they are going to be doing pretty well, even if they lose the next game, I will not stop thinking this way because I already saw what they are capable of.
