It was a wonderful free-kick by Messi and Lopes made a superb save also. We are watching Messi play very close to his times at Barcelona from now on. A neat cooperation between players produced goals through Messi. But unfortunately they could not increase the advantage until the long whistle sounded, although many opportunities were created.

If any team want to do many goals then surely they need good and solid cooperation between players but sadly right now it's no happening in PSG, and specially we are looking problems between Neymar and Mbappé which is surely a big issue for the coach and management because this can create feud and this is not good for them in big matches as this can create problems for them as we already watch in past here now coach need to do his role because this is very important for any team success.In this match, we were shown again in cooperation, Messi and Neymar again showed it in this match. I think to know how Lionel Messi contributing for PSG looking on how long PSG journey on Champion League, will he success lead PSG until final stage or stuck last season on 16 round phase.
PSG signed a contract and gave a very generous salary to Messi not to win Ligue 1. They did all these things for Messi with a demand that Messi should contribute for them and lead them to Champions League trophy. In the first season, Messi failed but we can expect better contribution from Messi in this season and PSG would be a stronger team in Champions League. They will not easily be beaten in this season.Might even be surprising to you to learn that City, Bayern and PSG have been the top 3 favourites in the past 3 editions of Champions League, leaving out Real Madrid every season despite them appearing and winning in finals. Liverpool I always feel are rightly below top 3, despite also making 3/5 finals.
They have best players in the Europe and in general, as whole team, their squads are very strong. I think Manchester City and PSG are stronger than Bayern but we can not under estimate the strength of Bayern. To my surprise bookies rate PSG as the second top contender to win the Champions League with 5.55 odds (Manchester City are the top contender with 2.85 odds). It seems to me that making predictions (or betting) in a tournament where there are elimination games is a rather pointless exercise, but the odds of the bookmakers show that most specialists rate PSG very highly. Although, on the other hand, Barcelona, which has not yet proved its strength with strong opponents, is estimated not much worse - 11.80.

There is a big improvement in the performance of Neymar - Messi duo this season by the way. Neymar dealt with injuries last season and we didn't see him very often. Messi was also in an adaptation process for some time. But now both of them are performing great like they were doing the same at Barcelona together. I'm still nervous about Neymar's being injury-prone of course. Besides, he made really interesting statements before also like he wasn't enjoying football like in the old times. But seemingly he's changed his mind considering his performance these days. 
Yes it is, I see Messi and Neymar like being reborn. Although not fully playing like when they were at Barcelona, but their current form is good news. In every game they are increasingly visible in the form of the game they have, it's just that last season the ability was not visible. Their stats have improved this season compared to last season.

Neymar and Messi cooperation has been a huge help for PSG so far in the league. Neymar has 8 goals and 7 assists and Messi has 4 goals while having the same amount of assists. PSG really need these two players to be as consistent as possible. Mbappe's single performance wouldn't be enough especially in the Champions League. The Ligue 1 is much easier for them so they don't need to make the same level of effort there. But the Champions League can be really cruel even while playing against weaker teams on paper.
