Monaco has starting this season with positive result that on the first match they win from away match against Strasbourg although they failed on qualification match for champion league from PSV i think it wouldn't have any effect for their performance in France league and today playing at their home ground Monaco will attempts to get 3 points from their opponent Rennes and this is good chance for them especially Rennes had bad records against them while playing away so bet for Monaco win seems good choice and the current odds for Monaco is @2.1

Here we go with the missing points. Nantes 1 - 1 Lille, they secured 1 point in the last 15 minutes which isn't promising for Lille if they want to compete vs PSG this season.
PSG - Montpellier will be interesting this weekend. There is Monaco vs Rennes that should be challenging if Rennes won't perform like the first match... Same goes for Nice when facing Strasbourg.
The actual drought in France made Lorient-Lyon match postponed but it appears that the final decision will be taken tomorrow.
Today we have two games first is playing between two quality teams Monaco vs Rennes in first match Monaco done good job and won on road and Rennes lost their first game at home which is surely a bad start of this new season for them now in today game they need to do much better than first game if they want to have some better place in this league most chances with home advantage and better performance Monaco will be better team.

In second match PSG is going to host Montpellier both teams won their first matches and now going to face each other with PSG odds are just @1.09 which mean they are going to thrash them badly with this going with over 3.5 is much better because it is having odd @1.55 and both teams already have 5 goals in their first game.

In today's matches, I bet on the victories of the favorites, PSG and Monaco. Both teams play at their stadiums against theoretically weaker rivals. Any result other than the victory of the hosts will be a surprise for me.

For me it takes more than talent or quality players to win the UEFA Champions league. I might sound strange but I believe it takes both hardwork and a bit of luck. Paris Saint-Germain F.C. have all it takes to win any competition but what they lack is luck.Yes coach Christophe Galtier for now is not a top class coach but he has all it takes to lead PSG to champions league glory, after all Roberto Di Matteo of Chelsea was more inexperienced than him but gave Chelsea the first champions league trophy.
I agree with you that winning the Champions League title requires a lot of luck. Also requires a strong match strategy. In the previous season, Real Madrid displayed a different match strategy in each match. And they became champions. Although I will say they were very lucky. However, there is no shortage of talented and experienced players in PSG's squad. Now, if they are lucky, and if the coach's match strategy is good then we will get a good performance from them in the Champions League.
Yeah, in quality PSG is one of the best team in Champions League, but sadly they have never been good in strategy and luck they need to do something different in coming season because clearly they have target of winning Champions League, and it's not going to happen easily here coach need to mind like Ancelotti because he is surely one of the best in his business if Christophe Galtier can bring some significant changes in his team then surely they can achieve their target without any problem, but he is not experienced like Ancelotti still can follow his strategy as he is also having few quality players with good experience and skills which can help them for having trophy in their wallet in this season.

Now it's big test case for new appointed coach Christophe Galtier can he change fortune of this club and bring their most desired trophy which will write his name in golden words in PSG history.

The game between nantes and lille today was a tight and competitive one, it ended in a draw but lille team was slightely better, they were more precise and they had more on goal shots, unlucky for them nante goalkeeper was present and he gave a point to his team.
Nantes has a highly disciplined game that makes it difficult for LOSC Lille to penetrate the net from Nantes. They even had to wait until 76 minutes of the game to equalize after they had to concede first in the first half to be precise in the 28th minute. Lille's control of the match was felt, but once again Nantes applied a highly disciplined game.

PSG will not face any problem to win the Ligue 1 title. Ligue 1 teams are relatively weak. PSG's main target is the Champions League. And for that they have a very strong squad. Despite having plenty of talented and experienced players in the squad, but PSG coach Christophe Galtier is not experienced enough for a platform like the Champions League. Can such a coach lead PSG to the Champions League title? It is very difficult. But it is possible if PSG's players can maintain consistency in performance.

Actually Neymar is a good player, therefore PSG brought in Neymar with a very expensive transfer fee from Barcelona. Even Neymar also earns
a very high salary at PSG, but Neymar is often injured and also the contribution given is not large for PSG. Then Neymar's performance is also
declining now, and of course this makes PSG management unhappy and the possibility of Neymar being sold. I think PSG doesn't need Neymar
anymore, PSG should immediately sell Neymar when Neymar still has a good selling value. Since keeping Neymar is not profitable for PSG,
and also PSG should have no trouble finding a replacement for Neymar with very strong finances. But the problem is that not many big clubs
can afford Neymar and are able to pay Neymar's very high salary. So PSG must be difficult to sell Neymar, then it is very likely that Neymar
for next season will still stay at PSG.

for me neymar is one of the top players in the world who has very individual skills with his Brazilian style of football. Not only that, Neymar is really needed by the PSG squad to get the Champions League title next season.
it is proven that galtier still maintains it and is a main starter in the psg squad.

however the problem of psg is the cohesiveness in the squad, mbappe's privilege that makes the lack of harmony within the psg squad. PSG dream to win the Champions League title is not easy, to make it happen, Galtier must formulate something so that this trio of strikers can play and work together without anything special.
I think that Neymar is good in every way, yes, I have to be honest that the player sometimes likes to attract attention and play the victim when he plays, that sometimes turns out to be very annoying, I don't like it in particular the theater on a soccer field, however if PSG does not win this UCL it is because I will really consider them incapable in all their splendor, because they simply have everything that is needed, they have the players, they have the money, what else is can you ask? Ahh well, they don't have Zidane as coach, but if they don't take care of their players at any time they could lose Neymar, Messi, just because they favor Mbappé, which I don't consider a healthy strategy for the team.

By the way, at PSG internal problems have always arisen for this very reason among the players.

The game between nantes and lille today was a tight and competitive one, it ended in a draw but lille team was slightely better, they were more precise and they had more on goal shots, unlucky for them nante goalkeeper was present and he gave a point to his team.

Well, a point is a point, and everything adds up and in part is a gain, I liked this match, I saw how the performance of both teams was taking place, I liked the football that I saw, it is colorful and I think it can make this league good French that apparently already has the name of the champion, but I was thinking if all the teams played with that claw against PSG they could give it a good scare and why not? beat him, they are not invincible, but if they play at this level I think the French league will be very exciting and it will not be like last season, which to tell the truth I did not like at all, I did not see any emotion, I just liked the UCL.

Nantes Vs Lile
   1   -   1

When the match (game) started, Lile was playing rough which led them to take 4 yellow cards and also they possessed ball more than Mantes while Mantes played gentle and fair game. Upon all the roughness from Lite, Mantes still scored them (Lile) in the first half of the march. Moses Simon who was assisted by Andrei Girotto scored the first goal in 28 minutes of the match from Mantes team while Ismally who was assisted by Jonathan David scored the 2nd goal in the match from Lile team. That gave the 1-1 draw in full time of the match. Now if you look at the stats of the match which I jot some down for reference purpose.

The squad owned by PSG is currently a star-studded team from goalkeepers to attackers, according to transfermark data, the value of the squad owned by PSG is currently around 834 million pounds or slightly lower than that of Manchester City in the EPL, but for Ligue 1 of course PSG has a higher value than other teams, with such a large squad value of course we realize that PSG owners have spent a lot of money in building a squad full of stars, but unfortunately the a lot of star players and the large amount of money they have spent is not able to give maximum results in the champions league competition so far.
The PSG owner is eager to see his team win the Champions League for the first time, he will continue to spend huge sums of money on star players to fulfill his ambitions. It's natural that now we see PSG squad full of star-labeled players, because they will still continue to strive to achieve their goals. No one doubts the quality of PSG in League 1, they can be champions every year there, when PSG have a match on the European stage, PSG are still not able to maintain consistency, they always fail to go far in the Champions League. This season with a new coach who has just been appointed, PSG will try to do something new In the Champions League, hopefully they can give a beautiful gift to the owner of the club.

If you ask about the star players who make up Paris Saint Germain's roster, haven't they always been like that for a long time? I won't be surprised when PSG are still signing big players in the squad. It's just that I wonder, why with such a luxurious squad they still can't achieve on a higher stage? I feel like this is a waste of time for them.
You can't do everything with money. PSG has very good players and they can add any player they want to their roster, they think they can get anything by paying whatever they want, but I don't think there is a team spirit.
It is not enough to have very good players, in other leagues you can see that teams with much weaker players can be much more successful Smiley
in fact money is everything in the world of football, if a team doesn't have money that team won't win anything. and the reason are simple:

1 - this team will not have a good coach because it is expensive to have a good coach
2 - this team will not have good players and will not have motivated players
3 - this team will not have a good field because it is expensive to have a good field and maintain a good field
4 - that team will not have the money to pay the cost of travel and first class accommodation to the players whenever they go to play and as a consequence the players will play without motivation
5 - Players' salaries will be low and they will be unmotivated

A low salary is always perceived to be an issue for any team. This is because, actually never mind, the problem is that they are not getting the kind of facilities that they should be able to get because they are actually being paid a low salary.

It is true that the motive will not be there for any player, regardless of their position. There is no doubt that the players have grown to be used to the facilities they are receiving there. Therefore, it is going to be very difficult to make something that is a bit different from what they are used to. Hope PSG's players will adapt quickly and be able to establish smooth chemistry between them. Without chemistry, it is quite difficult to make a positive move, regardless of how good players are in the squad.

Nantes is currently leading 1-0 against OSC Lille. We have already seen more surprising (intermediate) positions from the start of the competition. Lille should normally win this match but that will be a difficult story now as we are already in the 2nd half. Little can be seen of the game image of the champion from 2 seasons ago. In any case, PSG do not have to worry again that Lille will take the title. Not that I want to start a whole discussion, but how did it come to be that Lille became champion 2 seasons ago and PSG didn't? Does anyone know what the odds were then to bet on Lille that they would become champions?
I was expecting first win of this season for Nantes, but good thing happened and Lille hold their nerves for having one point from this match, which could be essential for them in the future. Nantes takes early lead and able to enjoy this for 30 minutes after end of first half Ismaily came from bench for Lille and put a good goal which give them one point and top rank in League table for nearly 24 hours as PSG is going to play their second game against Montpellier, and they need full three points if they want to jump at first spot for one week.

Tomorrow we have one of the entertaining match between Monaco vs Rennes, both were good in last season and now going to face each other in this season for having good spot until end of this season.

I don't understand why certain players, even though they are old, still want to continue playing, as much as a player is a good player and is even the best player in the world when he is already at an advanced age he needs to rest because he will not be able to play in the same pace than the other players

I really think that is much easier said than done! Wink

Many of those older players can sign well paid contracts easily as it seems. Ramos is another example. Why not take another 40 million home for two years even though when you are injured sitting on a bench?

But much more important than that, I think we are all kind of the same when it comes to finishing a huge chapter of your life. There are only very few I remember who said "ok that was it, I am fine even though I could still play". That doesn't happen very often and I can understand why.

There have been soccer players in the past who admitted that essentially they are not even able to have a normal life, never used a pan and never filled their fridge. Never had to organize administrative stuff and so on and so forth.

The soccer world today is a big fat dream bubble that has nothing to do with real life. I would assume that some of the players are afraid of that time.

Finally, we are talking about a sport and we all love sports I guess, in some shape or form. If you can't do anymore what you love so much (especially taking into account the incredible audiences), it's tough to step down.

There is no league that weaker teams who do not spend money become successful, in football you have to spend money, buying good players is what makes a team strong and successfully, and to buy very good players, money has to be spent. Psg bought many new players last season, and some of them have not adapted with the team yet, and that happens to every team. It is not a lack of team spirit in my opinion, these players will soon get used to playing together and it will make them a winning machine.
Only good players can't bear good result and it needs good coach and facilities also. Obviously good and experienced players matter. But without proper strategies and tactics, it is really tough to win in the competitive match.
Managers are the decisive factor in every single team. If you have a team that's decent, and have a team that's good, but decent team is managed by a GOAT manager, and the good one is managed by someone like me, then the decent team will beat the good team 9 out of 10 times.

We shouldn't really be considering that as an option at all, we should be considering this as the most important part. Get a great manager first and then get the players after that which would fit his mindset. PSG didn't get the greatest manager they could get, which was Zidane, he was the best one and if they offered 60 million a year (and 120 million signing bonus) to Mbappe, I am sure they could have convinced Zidane with enough money.

The guests seem to be the favorite of the Nantes - Lille match. Lille in the first leg was definitely a better team than Auxerre and they won 4-1. Nantes, on the other hand, drew 0-0 with Angers after a poor match. It seems to me that a draw in today's match is the most what the hosts can do.
Yes, although on paper Lille could have won today's match but I would doubt it, instead maybe the away team will win and maybe there will be some goals. I personally prefer this match to be minimal goals, maybe Lille win but it's like only about 1-0 or a goalless draw or 1-1. I personally think these two teams have the ability to be able to maintain their defense, regardless of what they got in the first match, I'm more concerned about head to head which looks like both teams can play tough.
10 minutes of running time there is still no significant movement in the chances of both clubs.
It seems that in this case the two clubs that play are still fumbling about what steps to take now. but Lille now dominate in possession so they have a very big chance now to score goals
