There were no surprises this week except the Marseille - Lyon game. Because for this game, Lyon somehow managed to literally destroy Marseille by 3-0. I have no idea about how it happened as both had similar efforts actually. It was an unlucky day for Marseille that's for sure. This loss cost the gap with their nearest opponents to be closed a little more. This is just giving a new hope to Rennes and Monaco now. The team at the second spot qualify for the Champions League groups directly in the end.

Strasbourg were the most disadvantageous team of last week. Because they couldn't keep their existence in top five. Monaco and Rennes won and increased the gap with Strasbourg to five points. And Nice also defeated Bordeaux by 1-0 today and this was very helpful for them to take the fifth position in the league standings. Strasbourg will have a more difficult work to do from now on. We have only three weeks left in the Ligue 1 and Strasbourg will need to work very hard to push themselves inside top five again. If this great season ends up badly, it would be really disappointing for them.

although this defeat did not affect marseille's position in rank 2 but this made rennes have a great opportunity to try to shift marseille

The French league can be unpredictable sometimes, how did Marseille lose 3 nil without getting a goal for themselves especially that they were the hosts of this game in their own backyard?? And if they lose the next game too they actually risk dropping from second to third place which won't be a good way of wrapping up the season
I assume most people thought Marseille gonna win or at least get a draw or at worst score a goal vs Lyon..but getting 3 goals to 0 was pretty much unexpected.Now they have 3 points difference from both Rennes and Monaco. They will face in the 37th round Rennes so that match will be very very important for both to determine which one will take the second spot. I have the feeling that Monaco gonna surprise both teams if they play it well.
I believe Marseille losing to Lyon at that goal margin was uncalled for but to some extent it is understandable as they believe they have have an upper hand in the qualification for the champions league. But what I can not wrap my head around is Lille loosing 3 to nil against Troyes at this crucial point in time. A win would have made them just 3 points away from 6 place and maybe, just maybe something might have happened along the line. That was much like a must win game for me. Now they have a game against monaco who is trying to tidy up their loosed ends as well
Maybe Lille at this point in time they have lost motivation.

An easier way to get into the Europa League is to first get into the Conference League - for this it is enough to win back one point of a head start from Strasbourg. Marseille surprised, but they are unlikely to risk losing their place in the Champions League, as the likelihood that two teams at once that are 3 points behind it will be able to overtake it is almost unbelievable.

It was very interesting match Nice vs Bordeaux. Nice won by 1-0 goal against Bordeaux. Both team played very well and these both team fans really enjoyed that match.Unfortunate Bordeaux didn’t score and they lost that match.Nice very strong team in Leaugue 1.Nice improving match by match.I think Nice deserved that win.
The match was entertaining. Bordeaux played quite well, they tried in defending their territory, but Nice were able to break through and secured a goal. While, I was expecting Bordeaux to equalize the score, but they weren't strong enough to score any goal. However, I think the game was an important match for the host, because they are currently at the relegation zone, and probably need more points. Nevertheless, if they don't improve their performance, Bordeaux might not be opportuned to play in Ligue 1 next season.

I'm very surprised to see that Marseille lost by 0-3 home to Lyon today. I was waiting for Marseille to win this match truthfully. But somehow they were crushed by Lyon. And this created another good opportunity Rennes and Monaco to catch up with them. These two teams both won without a problem. There are still three weeks to go and the gap between Marseille and those two is only three points now. Marseille should focus on their remaining matches more to be able to prevent themselves from losing their current place.

the sad part is the teams that will be relegated. I keep asking myself how are the coaches and players of the teams that will be relegated psychologically, it must not be easy to stay playing for so long to end up in a relegation situation, it is not something easy to conform to. these all teams that will be relegated will not all of them return, that's why they are saying goodbye because only in a long time will they return to ligue 1. very sad

If Nice win against Bordeaux then they will jumped to 5th position under Monaco and on the paper Nice was favourite because Bordeaux records this season was very bad and they are as the worst defense team in France league even often to Bordeaux lose with big score such as their recent match that they were conceded 5 goals against Nantes so hopefully Nice will playing well and win the match
A very important win for Nice, because with Nice beating Bordeaux they managed to move up to 5th place. But I'm a little disappointed that Nice
can only beat Bordeaux by only one goal difference, even though Bordeaux is a team in the relegation zone, and also Bordeaux team in Ligue 1
which has the worst defense, imagine this season Bordeuax being the team with the most goals conceded. So it should be Nice who have better
quality players, should have won the game with a higher score. Nantes just a weaker team than Nice, can score 5 goals against Bordeaux.
But Nice was only able to score one goal when they beat Bordeaux, that too was scored in the 74th minute, so Nice have to improve their
performance even better if they want to stay in the top 5. Especially the productivity of the Nice front line which I think really needs to be

Yes nice ended up winning the game which was obvious but it was a difficult victory with a 1 0 score, the goal was scored in the 74 minutes by andy delort who is scoring a lot lately and most of his goals are crucial if nice manage to get that european spot it would be thanks to him.It was very interesting match Nice vs Bordeaux. I think PSG are not too focused because they have already confirmed themselves as champions this season so they can concede 2 to Strasbourg in the last minute of the match.
what do you mean by unfocused? After all, the victory that happens in every match is something that PSG continues to aim for even though they have won the league 1 this seasonPSG were just unlucky to get a win over the match against Strasbourg even though with the trio of Neymar, Messi and Mappe down from the start of the match

And this draw can cost them even their position in the standings. It seems to be very likely that Monaco and Rennes will pull away from them more. Because they both have comfortable games on this week. And even Nice can leave Strasbourg behind in the standings also if they manage to defeat Bordeaux tomorrow. It hasn't been a profitable week for Strasbourg maybe but they can still atone for this next time.
Yes not good for them indeed i think nice team will win against bordeaux since bordeaux are on a bad situation and they are officially relegated it would be a shame if strasbourg team does not manage to get a european spot because they played really well this season it was an exceptional one but they still has a chance since nice team does not seem to be in their best shape in this end of season.Nice will win the match they will play today, their opponent is a very weak team. So Strasbourg will regress to 6th place, at least for this week. Of course, there is a chance to be in the top 5 teams again in the coming weeks, yet we will have enough time for everything to change.
But I think Nice has a better chance and can finish the league in 5th place

I don't know what really happened to PSG at this time, even though they have confirmed as Ligue 1 champions this season but they should still have the motivation to win every match in the rest of the season, the draw in that match was really quite disappointing for PSG fans because on paper PSG should have won easily against Strasbourg, but instead PSG were humiliated by a quick goal by Strasbourg in the 3rd minute.
Yes, if PSG are satisfied with this achievement then they really can't be professional, as a big team and many star players PSG should be more professional in every match. Events or results like this don't only happen today, when PSG are at the top of the table with a fairly large points gap, PSG sometimes don't get results that are not optimal at that time. So yes, actually there are still problems to be solved at PSG, because if they had become a solid team they would still have gotten better results even though they had won the Ligue 1 title.
