Recently, Lille and Monaco finally have started climbing the positions in the standings one by one. They both have a 3-win streak now. Lille are the last champions and Monaco ended as the 3rd. It wouldn't be nice to see these teams struggling a lot this season. I hope that they can maintain their form and continue to get better. I would like to see them increasing the competition level even more.

So far after 9 match-days, Monaco and Lille are in 6th and 8th position in the league respectively. You know, Last season Lille won the league with only 1 point difference from PSG who were in second place.  Even they were very good in the defense only conceded 23 goals in the whole season "in the league on in 38 matches".  But this season's defense has been a problem for them, they have already considered 14 goals in the said 9 matches played. Monaco is playing quite average in my eyes. Hope they can sort out their problems and give a fight to PSG for the title again.

I see that the Lyon vs Monaco game is the most attracting one for me considering the next game weekend. Lyon got two draws in their last two games and they don't have a decent form lately. But Monaco are the opposite of them. They won their last three games in the league and they have started to play like the last season now. Seeing that they don't have too much problem on scoring anymore, this may cause Lyon to have a big difficulty against Monaco. But I'd like to add something also that Monaco couldn't have beaten Lyon away in the Ligue 1 since April 23, 2017. So, I might bet on both teams to score as I believe that they will both score easily.

Well, one thing to take under consideration is that the role of Messi in Barcelona and PSG is different, although he plays in the same position. He has played for Barcelona for years and he knew every player and even Barca knew what an asset he is for them. So he was given the freedom to play like himself and almost however he wanted which is not the case for PSG. Though he will need some time to bond with the players but he has to compete for his position which was never an issue in Barcelona. Maybe give it some time and he will receive more balls from the midfield.
Messi is the leader and has to carry the team in Barcelona. In PSG, he is a star player there but he does not carry anything on his shoulder. Just play together with other team mates and enjoy football, in every moment.
In Barcelona, Messi is a hub of everything, from hope to argument and I understand how disappointed and tired Messi feel in Barcelona. Now in PSG, he just tries to play with his best and in defeat, he won't be a target of every critics.
The bond of Messi, Neymar and Mbappe looks to be improved and they will find each other soon.

Actually, every player needs a bit of time to cope up with a new environment, Even that's true for Messi. In Barcelona, he was like the string that held everything inside and outside Barcelona together. But here his approach and the demand from him from the club is also a bit different. He is a star player over here but NOT the only start player and he won't contribute much outside the field, that's what's different here. I think maybe just give the Messi, Neymar, Mbappe trio a bit more time to build the chemistry between them and things will be eventually okay.

Not your keys, not your coins!
I heard that mbappe doesn't want to extend his contract with PSG. Maybe he will go to Madrid after his contract runs out. It is very difficult to unite many good players in one team. Moreover, they have the ego to be the best. Moreover, Pochetino's experience was not as good as that of Tuchel who went to Chelsea. But I know the goal of PSG's management is not only to win the UCL they also profit from the star players by selling their jerseys.
When PSG rejected the $200M offer from Real Madrid and know that they will lose Mbappe with zero transfer fee one year later if they can not convince him to sign a new contract. I believe that PSG were confident that finally they will sign a new contract with Mbappe.

The latest news about that is matched with it. PSG have huge budget and they won't take risk to buy another player to replace Mbappe. Many players with huge transfer price can not play well at new clubs.

I think psg transfer failed and still need mbappe ,whether it will be extended or not is not yet known for sure but for sure mbappe will fight well for UCL "he said" I wish him all the best and success
It is on the desk and if PSG get the Champions League title, Mbappe will not move to anywhere else. With the happiness from it (if it happens) and a huge offer from PSG, Mbappe will not move to Real Madrid.

In a week, PSG are going to play a home match vs Angers. Angers are one of the competitive teams this season considering their results so far. PSG lost their last match shockingly to Rennes by 2-0. But it was obvious that they were going to be helpless in one match. Because their last wins were by close gaps generally. Now they will want to make their fans forget about the loss by defeating Angers. And undoubtedly, I expect them to win.
Angers has never been serious case for PSG like Rennes because Angers history is very one-sided against PSG even they are going good in this season but still they are not going to create any challenge for them.

Rennes situation was completely different as they have history of some good and tough matches and PSG players was playing their third match in eight days, and they were feeling tired on other side Rennes players was much fresher than them but now after having good rest they can perform very good for this match.

The defeat against Rennes may be understandable because PSG played in a fairly busy schedule last week, the defeat did not change their position in the standings, but even so at least it could be an experience for PSG so as not to underestimate other teams, I think even though PSG have a record It's been a pretty good win against angers so far, but PSG should be wary because this season angers was able to surprise by occupying 4th place in the standings with 4 wins, 4 draws and only one defeat, with a fairly consistent performance from angers, of course they could make it difficult for PSG in that match

While I get the point you are making, I would still say that a team of PSG's calibre shouldn't lose 2 - 0 against a mediocre team from ligue 1. It just shouldn't happen. They didn't lose a game thus far, that is true, but honestly speaking most of the other games also were quite close calls. You would expect much more dominance from them, but their problem is that they aren't used to getting pushed for a whole season by their competitors. That usually only happens in the Champions League. That is why they get frequently caught by surprise.

One of the three - Messi, Neymar, Mbappé - is superfluous. One of them has to leave. In this case, Psj will have a balance in the team and Messi will be as usual in his position. And when the enemy attacks, there will be plus one player in defense. Pochettino tries to find a balance, but he fails. And I don't think it will work out. We can expect a couple of such games in the future, when the team will not succeed.

I've had time to watch a few PSG match so far and I think there are some players who still have high egos in the team and it's not just about Mbappe. The ball supply to Messi from the midfield is a little different to what he gets at Barcelona so I quite often find him in the 1/4 of the pitch picking up the ball. Remember Messi's goal process against Manchester City?
it seems that there is still a gap between Messi and several other players. the match at that time (vs Manchester City) was already in sight. the supply of the ball from the middle for Messi is very lacking. it made him have to back down to get the ball. Could this also be related to the issue of competition between players who will be replaced due to Messi's arrival at PSG?
but if the coach can solve this problem, and Messi returns to his rhythm at PSG. I think Messi will score more goals.

Give the PSG team time, they will definitely be more stable and strong. Although strong as a team, their performance has not impressed me.
Result is the final thing and title is the one you will be remembered in history if you get it. In early matches, PSG did not need Neymar, Mbappe and Veratti to win in Ligue 1 and they can do the same in the future.
They only need time to combine those players and prepare for Champions League. They won't get trouble to win Ligue 1 in my opinion.

PSG's target is not 1 in the league. Their goal is to win the Champions League. Which they have not yet touched. PSG will be able to win the title of Ligue 1. There is no stable team like PSG in Ligue 1. But all the teams in the Champions League are very good. In order to win every match here, the players must play well. Winning the Champions League title with a poor performance is nothing but a daydream.

Remember Messi's goal process against Manchester City?
PSG is a team that has enough top players so it's only natural that players want to display their individual skills and put their team's interests aside. I saw clearly how Messi asked for the ball from Veratti on the right side of the pitch before Messi dribbled past several Manchester City players and scored after Mbappe returned the ball to Messi with his heel. That's Messi and you have to put a little faith in him and he will score goals.

it seems that there is still a gap between Messi and several other players.
You are not alone about it because many people also think the same. It seems that the coach should finish this as soon as possible and have a lot of success this season.
it's a very difficult thing, many of them are football stars and they want to show that they are the best so that ego is what causes division in the team, remember the era of los galacticos real madrid with star studded players? they didn't have much success. Football is a solid team game, not just great individuals.
and currently the coach of PSG is a coach who has never had success with a big club nor with a star player, I think it will be very difficult for Mauricio Pochettino to be able to unite the star players that are currently at PSG.

Players need time to get used to each other. Over time, mutual understanding will improve and this trio will show an enchanting game. Give time to Psg. And you don't have to judge the team after a couple of bad games.
I agree with you because Messi, Neymar and Mbappe have only played a few match and I don't think it's bad enough for them. PSG is not bad but I hope the coach can turn those three players into a scary trio in Europe this season. I don't know why the three of them had to fail unless they were so selfish with each other.

Neymar and Messi played together at Barca. So they already understand each other. Moreover, Di Maria, he is a fellow countryman, of course he also really understands the nature of Messi. What is yet to be seen is Mbappe, although against Man City in the UCL Mbappe provided one great assist. he's still young besides that his ego is still very high. Yes I believe they need a process, maybe half of the season they will look better. But I heard that Mbappe wants to go to Madrid. Even though it's just a rumor, but it might happen.

Take a look at my merits, It's lucky number
I think that the surprising teams of this season are Lens and Nice. Lens are extremely good that they are already at the second place in the standings. They have a decent form and they were really lucky in their last game also as Reims got a red card. And we saw another victory for Lens. Considering the fact that Nice had a terrible season last and ended the season at the 9th place, they are doing awesome now. They are right behind Lens by 2 points. I wonder if this duo or at least one of them will be able to keep up their performance till the last week.

Instead of Nice, I salute Angers more, they are in 4th place in the Ligue 1 standings even though they are a much weaker club than Nice, Marseille, Monaco, Lille and Lyon.

Talking about Nice, they have only played 8 games at the moment which most of the other teams have played 9 games. This means that in the near future they can occupy the second position of the Ligue 1 standings.

Messi-Neymar-Mbappe is one of the best players of this era. My expectation was that the PSG team would attack the opponent a lot and break the opponent’s defense. We have not seen anything like that yet. The coach should talk to the players, find out where the players are having problems. And to strengthen the bonds between the players.
The trouble those players can cause for PSG is they don't proactively support the defense system. It is acceptable if one player has privilege to be free from defense. However, if there are three players in a team, it would be a big trouble. Pochettino have to work with them and change the tactic to fix it. Champions League will be the one to verify the defense system and tactic of PSG with three purely attacking players.
