One of the attracting teams recently are Lens. They are at the second position now in the league and they have a really good form recently. Last, they managed to defeat Marseille away by 3-2. This is a really huge result for them as Marseille were in a really good form then. It was not easy for Lens to be the winner in this match as Marseille made a comeback from 2-0 to 2-2. I'll keep following Lens closely in the coming games also and maybe I can even think of placing a bet on them for some matches.

Messi have been success made goal debut for PSG on champion league and now waiting for his goal debut for Ligue 1, will be success for Messi give more contribution for PSG? nice to waiting because Messi was success make first goal and have great chance to make another goal for PSG on domestic or champion league. Messi make wonderful goal after great working with Mbappe and Neymar I think the trio of PSG will make many attractive again. Lionel Messi has not shown a good performance after leaving Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain and it has been proven that so far he has not contributed a single goal to the strength of the capital.before having to miss several French league matches.but the match against Manchester city will be Proving for Lionel Messi as the best player who came from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain, maybe the poor performance experienced by Leo at this time can not be separated from the pressure given by PSG to Leo Messi
Messi is natural big player and have ability to adjust very quickly but still he needs some time, surely in near future he will be very good for PSG specially in Champions League because they bring him just for this not for Ligue 1 as they can win this easily without him.PSG's management main target is winning Champions League, which is massive tension for them for last few years. Lionel Messi is back at PSG training! As for Leo, we have missed him terribly, but he will be available as PSG player facing Man City on Tuesday. He is going to score against City! It will be history if Messi scores the first goal for PSG against Manchester City. Personally, I'm waiting for another Messi masterclass at UCL.

People at very excited about Messi at PSG, however there is alway an adaptation period, and I am not talking about just Messi adapting to his new home, but about the rest of the players getting used to what they can expect from Messi and how can they make the best use of his virtues. Also, an acomplished player has also a need to find further motivation beyond money.
The problem with his "adaption period" is the fact that dude played for 20+ years in a club, when you consider his youth team era as well it turns to be 20+ years and he played with a single strategy in almost all those years, which was tiki-taka.I doubt that PSG would be willing to change everything to suit Messi neither, so it is going to be different. Sure we see people change teams, even Kane who played in Spurs for all these years could go to any other team and be good because his "strategy" is to score goals, or Mbappe or Haaland, their talent is interchangeble to any team. However, Messi excels when he plays withing the system and not given all too much attention. I doubt that he would ever be as great as he used to be, still great, just not great as he used to be.

@Saint-loup I feel we need to tone down the notch of expectations we have on Messi in tonight’s game, because he’s just making his way back from an injury and hence he won’t be fully fit for this fixture. Also the big question is will Neymar pass to Mbappé, because the latter feels he’s not getting passes from the former so what do you’ll feel about this drama?.
Messi need time to completely recover from his injury and to have better connection with other players.Pochettino and PSG should not force Messi and put him under pressure. They don't need Messi for Ligue 1 and Champions League in group stage. They need him in big matches in Champions League so let's give Messi a rest and more time.

What interesting from Messi played two match without any contribution so far? no assist and goal made by Messi after playing more than 190 minutes, maybe you can waiting next match on champion league stage group will Messi give contribution for PSG or not, I see not any expectation from Messi for PSG and when Messi play as starting eleven PSG difficult to play well.
He is a good player and he will contribute to the team once he is back on his form. The actual season is just in the beginning and there is still so many opportunities to come. The main point is to avoid being injured.For today, Lens blocked OM from chasing PSG which is leading with solid 9 points advantage from the rest after just 8 rounds which is shameful..

Lille being the defending champions, they are performing very poorly this year. I wonder what rank they'll be in as the season ends.
Having achieved the same performance as Lille in the previous season, I had a lot more expectations from them this season. I thought they will fight for the title against PSG. But at the end of 8 matches, PSG has 24 points while Lille has only 11 points. They are 13 points behind PSG. PSG will now be the champions in Ligue 1, with other teams vying for second and third place in the points table. I mean yeah it wasn't expected to be this bad, but it should have been expected for them to drop to second even third place after losing these players anyway, so we should have expected them to get worse, just maybe not this worse. We are still early in the season so we could end up seeing them get a little bit better in the long run as well. However PSG is definitely done, they are definitely the champions and it is obvious even from these early games because they are playing like crazy no matter who is in and who is out.

It doesn't really matter as long as they win their games, which is the case here. Even though other French competitors are not in the same tier as PSG, it's still impressive to win eight games in a row. The real test would be in the Champions League for sure, if PSG guarantee to win the title early they can better focus on CL competition. I think Pochettino is trying to do that, they won't let another Lille situation this season.
Look at Marseille, they are behind by a penalty goal already. Things are not going well for Marseille. Payet and Dieng should take more responsibility, it will be hard to flip the game if they don't find equalizer soon.

PSG's strategy is good for this season but their Champions League's win dream is not going to fill again in this season because they are not good in this as they have to win now this week they are going to face Manchester City which is also looking for first title in this competition, and they are some better than PSG specially after a good win against Chelsea in away match.

I wouldn't consider that as a good performance, they have conceded a lot of goals against weak teams and have had a bad time when playing against weak teams, look at the match against Lyon. they would almost lose, look at the game against Metz they would almost lose too, in my opinion they are in the top because they have been very lucky to score goals in the 90 minutes and also because the opponents are extremely weak

PSG continue to dominate the league with the results they have gotten so far. They have a 8-win streak now which is really a gigantic success. But on the other hand, nearly all of their opponents seem much weaker than them. Therefore, I can't say that there is a huge competition for the title this season. My opinion would be much different if the teams like Lille, Monaco and Lyon started better but maybe they can atone for their bad results in the coming games. But I still believe in PSG to win the championship by a big gap.

managed to break PSG's dominance will not happen again this season. Moreover, PSG this season brought in a lot of star players,
the more difficult it is for other teams to compete with PSG. No wonder PSG's main target this season is to win the Champions League,
because to win Ligue 1 is very easy, only to win the Champions League which has not been achieved by PSG.
