Mbappe is an incredible player with incredible talent that PSG have ever found, but it's time for PSG to forget about him at the moment, what we expected before may not have seen happening in Madrid yet, but over time of course Mbappe will find his way in Madrid once he can adapt, his potential and ability are undoubted and we can see how he has proven himself as one of the best players in the world with his very significant contribution at PSG previously, I think we can't equate a team like Madrid with PSG which has been dependent on one previous player in every match, so inevitably every player has to support Mbappe in their attacking line, in contrast with Madrid who actually has several quality attacker and can give strong competition for Mbappe at this time, So it is quite natural that his first season in Madrid did not live up to the expectations expected by many people today.
What is certain is that the competition in League 1 and La Liga is very different so that at PSG he can appear like a professional star player with a high number of scores.
Unfortunately this is not just about Mbappe's replacement or also not about how PSG is currently performing. But the most important thing is that PSG must learn to produce new talents from the young players they have and try to produce reliable players from a younger age.
In that way, PSG can continue to dominate League 1 because they have a good way of managing players. And I think now is the time to forget about Mbappe in League 1 and it would be better to focus on building a stable performance without relying on certain players.
Mbappé was a very important player for Paris Saint-Germain. However, perhaps he should have stayed at Paris Saint-Germain. He seems to be a little less successful in the Spanish league. Of course, since he is a new transfer, he may not have fully adapted to the team yet. However, his absence is not felt much at Paris Saint-Germain. Paris Saint-Germain's infrastructure is one of the best in the world. That's why they can easily find young and important players from the infrastructure. Yes, it would have been better if Mbappé had not left, but I am sure that after he leaves, they will find players who can replace him with experienced coach Luis Enrique.

To fight Brest I believe Monaco will get an easier win but after that they have to face Marseille and this is the concern because Marseille is also not an opponent that Monaco can beat, if they play well maybe can share points for draw against Marseille.
As for the remaining UCL match, only Aston Villa is an easy opponent for Monaco because Benfica, Arsenal and Inter Milan are quite strong team but this will be big match for Monaco.
On paper it should be like that, Monaco can easily win over Brest. However, all of that is just an advantage on paper that cannot guarantee 100% that they will be able to win easily like that. What determines it is their own game on the field. They must show their best to be able to win this match. In addition, Brest also did not come to lose, they will also definitely try their best to be able to get points from this match, at least they are targeting 1 point for them to take home in this match. Although Brest is not in a good condition because they suffered a series of previous defeats, they will also definitely try hard.
In football, there is nothing certain but we also have to look realistically and it cannot be denied that Monaco has a very large percentage to be able to win the match against Brest and they are also better than them in everything so it is only natural that Monaco has a large percentage to win the match.
So far we can see that Brest's performance has been very poor since the beginning of the season and even they are now in 12th place with only being able to collect 13 points while Monaco started this season very well, they are now at the top and ready to compete for the title so I think the match between the two teams will not be fierce because of the significant difference in quality and if there is no big surprise then Monaco will be able to win this match easily.

And the distance is now 6 points, Monaco decline is really unexpected in getting two defeats but do you believe Monaco will be able to improve the situation again by occupying the top position in the standings?
If PSG still continue to perform consistently and get victory after victory every week then I think even though Monaco performs impressively it is still impossible to surpass PSG, only luck can help Monaco, maybe expecting PSG to get series of defeats will be the only chance that can help Monaco.
Yes, let's say Monaco is back on track after they lost twice against Nice and Angers. proven, Manaco performed well again in UCL defeating Bologna, and defeating Strasbourg with a score of 1-3. against Brest, on paper Monaco should be able to get full points. although, in football there are often surprises. moreover, Balogun seems to still have to be absent in some of his matches. after that Manaco will face Benfica, and that won't be easy. against Marseille then Arsenal in UCL. their upcoming matches won't be easy, the teams they face have a chance to defeat AS Manaco. but let's assume Manaco is able to overcome it, that means the match against PSG will be a crucial match. if they want to compete tightly for the top of the Lique 1 standings, that means Manaco must sweep all their matches until they meet PSG in week 16. or, at least PSG must slip in some of their matches. thus, Manaco has the opportunity to reduce the points difference between them. unfortunately, it won't be easy. I doubt Manaco will be able to overtake the ranking occupied by PSG, but we will see how these teams go through each match, especially for Ligue 1.

BTC, a coin of today and tomorrow.
The good thing about PSG is they are happy even without Mbappe in this team and that's all because of having Enrique in PSG because they have a coach like Enrique who knows how he can win the game without using superstar players and you can see how they even won the game against Anger with a 4-2 while scoring 4 goals in enough to say PSG has good forwards who know how to finish the balls.
Their young player, Bradley Barcola had the best perfect in this match and he scored two goals for his team against the Angers.
This isn't totally correct as it sounded like they weren't happy having mbappe the time they had him or Enrique has been able to win the UCLA without a star player, let's not make it feel like because they are now exhibiting some independence, they weren't at some point dependent on this star players, they did at some point, it hasn't always been them finding their way like this but it's still good news they are doing so well regardless but for the times the stars were around they did impacted the team and help them greatly.
I am sorry to announce that since After Mbappe left PSG till date, I have never watched PSG nor visited this thread. This doesn't mean I am Mbappe's die hard fan. The case to me is that the names that attracts me to the league are all gone. Names like;
Neymar;
Mbappé;
Messi
The Mbappe transfer saga and the buzz that came with it. The media misinformation and the rest are all fade away. Maybe people are enjoying a peaceful PSG now.

I always suggested that neither PSG is bad without Mbappe, nor Real Madrid is bad because of Mbappe. Real Madrid has a lot of injuries this season, so far 10+ players got injured total, some came back, some are still out injured, latest is Militao so it's clear that we are talking about something huge here, the injury list is the reason why they are looking for something this big.

However, if we are looking into something careful, then what we need to care about would be just the fact that we are seeing something growing with PSG without Mbappe as well. So Real is good and Mbappe helps them be good, and without injuries they will be great, but also PSG is good, even without Mbappe, he wasn't the only reason they were good before.
In essence, PSG is still fine without Mbappe, the bad results that PSG got in the Champions League are also normal results. Thus, maybe PSG still needs some new players to be brought in to be able to make the team's performance even better in the Champions League by having a good champion mentality too. Because after all, PSG already has a head coach who has great experience with many achievements, trophies with big teams in different leagues too. So, because in the previous transfer window PSG did not make any player purchases, then that might also be a less than ideal step. Because if they want to have good results in the Champions League, then PSG must have main players and second-string players who both have good qualities to support their performance to remain good in the Champions League too.
I was thinking that PSG would be able to sign Lukeman Ademola who they indicated interest in signing from Atalanta but it seems that have jammed rock as Atalanta have refused to release him and even offered him double pay that will see him stay in the club till 2027. Assuming PSG signs a player with the quality of Lukeman Ademola, they would have had a fortified attack that can match every team be it locally or externally because I feel there is a serious problem with their attacking.

With a six-point gap from Monaco, it can be said that PSG this season has no real obstacles in league one to defend their title. Monaco have been impressive so far this season, but they are not strong enough to compete with PSG who have above average players and coaches. However, Monaco should not give up on such a situation, keep maintaining their performance because in football nothing is impossible, although in terms of calculations PSG could easily win the title, but with a schedule that forces them to continue playing it is not impossible that something could happen to PSG so that they lose some points.

I see, losing Mbappe so far has not had much impact on PSG, PSG remains strong and solid. In fact, Mbappe at his new club has had a little difficulty adapting so that he has not shown his best performance at his new club. But whatever it is, I hope that League One remains competitive, and I hope Monaco in the transfer market later can bring in a few more players so that they can maintain their consistency until the end of the season.
I am pretty sure that they are going to just win the league with ease, even if you remove a few more players. They are just way too good and that was known beforehand, we knew that they would have this kind of result eventually and things aren't really shocking to see at the moment.

I believe we need to consider how this could be very different for many players, and for PSG players this is a reason to have higher morale, because everyone doubted them before the season started, said things like without Mbappe the title will be decided on the field and they are not guaranteed to win and all that. Now they have six point gap, and I bet that they are going to have even more debt in the future as well. So we shouldn't really be shocked with what we are seeing, they are going to grow more and more confident and all those pundits were wrong, players will play with ease, they won't have pressure and stress, so they will win easier next time they are playing.

For this season Mbappé is a new player at Real Madrid and he still has time to make a little adjustment with his teammates at Real Madrid so I would not judge Mbappé as a bad player for this season just because he has moved from PSG to Real Madrid. Because when Mbappe was still defending PSG last season, PSG only excelled in Ligue 1, while in the UCL they were still unsuccessful so PSG still couldn't feel the UCL trophy until last season.

PSG and Monaco have almost equal points at the beginning of the season, the points are number one and number two, still these two teams are number one and number two in the points table, but the difference is that PSG has been able to create a lot of points gap from Monaco. The more matches, the better PSG is doing, so I see a very good chance of Monaco getting back to the top of the points table. Maybe PSG will do better as the match goes on and they will cement their position more firmly at number one in the points table. As it has been in other seasons, this season will be the same this season we will see PSG celebrate the local league title, maybe it is only a matter of time.
Six points gap at this time if the season is no big deal. Two losses can make PSG lose the top spot and there are still many games to play this season. I had expected PSG to struggle without Kylian Mbappe but they seem to have gotten over his departure and still dominating the Ligue One. But it's quite strange to see the defending Champions struggle in the UEFA Champions League while Monaco is excelling. Monaco has gotten ten points and sits comfortably in third position after winning four games and drawing on. While PSG has amassed just four points and is in the twenty-fourth position. Football is just an unpredictable sport.

Mbappé was of course very important for Paris Saint-Germain, but we saw last year that Paris Saint-Germain played well in his absence. The team's dynamics were better in the matches without Mbappé in Paris Saint-Germain. This year, we see that Mbappé could not experience the expected explosion in Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain continues its game without losing its power. Maybe Mbappé needed Paris Saint-Germain. We see that Real Madrid cannot find the same opportunities in the game alone. However, in Paris Saint-Germain, all the players were playing through Mbappé. I think PSG can complete the year as champions with Enrique as coach without Mbappé.

I thought Monaco would be lost from Strasbourg especially in the first half they were performing badly and Monaco players did several mistakes which caused Strasbourg player can scored and leading the game but on the second half Monaco performing better and playing more aggressive and the results is they can make epic comeback because within 10 minutes Monaco can scores 3 goals and they can win from this match which automatically can collect 3 points and this result too makes Monaco can widen their difference points with Marseille becomes 3 points and their position still at 2nd place with 23 points from 11 matches
Its quite surprising to see Monaco win against a team like Strasbourg, I thought the least result they could get in that game was a draw because in the first half they didn't really play like the Monaco that beat Barcelona, plus, they have been so inconsistent and unpredictable this season, sometimes you will see them winning impossible games where you wouldn't imagine them winning and losing the ones you consider easy for them, since they were playing away to Strasbourg i had already thought that their chances of winning would be very slim and surprisingly they won with a two goal margin stunning the home side in the second half, taking home all 3 points in that, it was really a big win for them which they wouldn't forget in a hurry.
Don't be surprised by results like this because this is football where there are always unexpected surprises and I even lost 2x because I supported Monaco to win but ended up losing.  Roll Eyes
In my opinion, Monaco is indeed worthy even though some people still believe Strasbourg is superior, but the strong reason is only Monaco performance is much better even though it is unstable.
Monaco this season has always been able to put up a fight but unfortunately in the previous few matches their performance was very bad.
I hope Monaco can be stable again to continue chasing PSG position.
It is precisely the instability in Monaco's performance that made me opt for the home side but Monaco later turned out to be the better side which was the reason why I said you can't really tell when Monaco can convincingly win a match due to their inconsistent run since the beginning of the season and this should be a major concern to the coach because monaco needs to maintain some winning streaks and also try to reduce their goal deficit so as to help them in case of the title race pursuit

In the end, PSG succeeded in creating an increasingly secure points gap with its competitors in Ligue 1 this season. It will certainly be increasingly difficult for Monaco and Marseille to prevent PSG from defending their title, this is because both of them have failed to maintain their best form like at the start of the season. PSG leads the standings with 29 points in 11 matches, while Monaco is 6 points behind PSG at the moment, so it is clearly getting more difficult.
PSG will also not find it easy to maintain that much advantage until the end of the season unless PSG can continue to win without losing throughout this season. Because everyone also does not know when PSG will lose again and Monaco will win again this season even though Monaco is indeed quite difficult to catch up with PSG even though it is only by six points. In addition, next weekend, Monaco will also face a fairly difficult opponent, namely Brest, so their chances of continuing to catch up with PSG seem not to be really easy for them.

With the way things are going, we are seeing how PSG is still winning, so even if Monaco wins, that is not really a big deal at all. The gap is still six points and I believe we are not going to see that change anytime soon, we are going to see them do not that fine and Monaco will end at best second place, PSG will not give their title at this point, not anymore, they already put a great gap there.

Plus, this is literally why they hired Luis Enrique last season, to get the team ready for a Mbappe-less period and that's what he did last year, sometimes even benched him, and that's what he got, he is ready for a period where he is doing much better now and he doesn't request a player at that calibre to win this league anyways.

Monaco's two consecutive defeats have widened the gap on PSG, but a 3-1 win over Strasbourg has restored their confidence to return to the top. The international break will give them time to refine their game plan. Hopefully, after the international break, AS Monaco can return to their best form to be able to reclaim the top spot.
Monaco defeat is an advantage to PSG but for Monaco to get to the top of the table I see that as impossible thing to happen unless is not PSG, PSG have dominated this league for so long which I don't see them declining anytime soon, so no matter how consistent Monaco will be that 6 points gap is very big due to the club am talking about, PSG don't joke with this league when it's comes to the title race, and again they are still the only unbeaten team in the league and I don't see any team currently in Ligue 1 that can defeat them due to their  consistent performance, I will only advise Monaco to maintain the feet so they can finish second in the league despite they haven't cross the half way.

Why are you surprised at Monaco's victory in this match? even though if you look at Monaco's performance, it is better than Strasbourg if you look at the points they get, even though Monaco's performance has been disappointing lately, but if we talk about inconsistency, Strasbourg is also inconsistent, so it can be concluded that this match is actually quite difficult to predict because they are both unstable, but if we talk about the chances of winning, I am more inclined to Monaco even though they are playing away.

I am not saying that Marseille shouldn't have won that game, but I think that calling this a shocker maybe goes a bit too far here. Auxerre is not a team from the relegation zone and they have been on an uptrend recently. Haven't lost the last four games and yes, this was a typical game with Marseille being the dominant team and Auxerre scoring the goals. The shocking part maybe is that Marseille was 0-3 behind at halftime... I think any team can lose a game, but the question is how did they lose and Marseille messed it up badly.
If you have considered the depth and form of both teams then probably you would have understood better why it came as a shock to some because the worst that was expected for such disparity in strength and form was supposed to be a draw but here was Auxerre leading by a whooping 3 goals without Marseille who was supposed to be the tough side not responding just yet, it's obviously one that should come as a surprise. Even if just like as it is in the nature of football that any team can loose a game we are to put that to consideration, literally we would expect a 1-0 loss for Marseille then we can assume their opponent was only lucky but this is a case such that you cannot just associate with luck but a deserving win.

This is ignorant of the fact that football is a game full of surprises all the time. You could be wondering why Manchester City lost four games now, you could be wondering why some other top clubs lost their game, why Real Madrid lost their game against AC Milan at home or why Barcelona lost their game against Real Sociedad. There is no such thing as a maximum negative outcome is a draw. Auxerre destroyed them and period. Auxerre is not ranked 18th, they have been ranked in the middle part of the table while Marseille has a weak defense and wasn't doing very well anyway. But if you want to call it a shock, then call it a shock.
