It's quite good to see Monaco at the top so far but am just worried about how consistent they would be because that's the most important thing in football. In football every point counts and if you drop points along the way then you may loose your spot thereafter and that's why it is important for Monaco to be aware of this fact. There are so many clubs that will be contending for the title this season in France and PSG happen to be one of them, so Monaco has to take every game seriously or else they would be displaced anytime soon by either PSG or any other club behind them because Monaco involved in many competitions which I think might be of the factors that may affect their performances this season as they aim to clinch the title.

Last season we only saw the dominance of PSG in Ligue 1. PSG were 9 points ahead of second-placed Monaco in the table. Monaco was able to perform well from the start of the season. But Monaco could not maintain the winning streak. So in the end PSG won the title.

Monaco are looking to strengthen their squad this season. And I would say that Monaco has been quite successful. Monaco have won 6 out of 7 matches and are now at the top of the table. But more importantly, Monaco's players are capable of performing well. Monaco scored 14 goals and conceded only 4 goals in 7 matches. Monaco's overall performance is very good. If Monaco's players can maintain this consistency, it will be very difficult for PSG to occupy the top spot in the table this season.

Then we have Monaco doing great already, and Marseille seems like they are spending more too, so that's three teams already, Lille isn't terrible neither and could maybe do good too?

If we have 4 teams giving PSG some trouble then we are going to see PSG having trouble with getting a title. But right now, there are few teams which are remotely close, and because of this PSG just beats every other team.

PSG football team is favorite for that match and that team has good players which are playing well in this tournament. Ramos is injured and he will be not available in next match and that player absence will impact on the performance of PSG team. The head to head record is also towards the PSG team because they won 3 matches our of 5 matches and they lose no match and two matches were draw. Both teams performance is not satisfactory because if we will see the track record of both team then we will observe that PSG won 2 matches in last 5 matches and Strasbourg won only 1 match in 5 matches. Upcoming weeks could be not easy while they have big game against PSG at home they needed to be had good and competitive performance if they want to bring good results and have good chance of staying into hunt for the European competitions which they missed in this season Montpellier game could be good for them while after break and before PSG big game which is also coming in few days.

Monaco is two points ahead of second-placed PSG but that doesn't mean Monaco is much better because there are still many matches in Ligue 1 to be played and PSG can still catch up on the points because the gap is not too far. PSG is unbeaten in Ligue 1 and vice versa with Monaco, it's just that PSG has drawn several times so Monaco is leading the standings for now. PSG's dominance in Ligue 1 is very difficult to break and maybe it's time for Monaco to end it.

In my opinion, when these two teams play, there is no clear favorite, anything can happen during the game, I say this because in the last 3 games in which both teams faced each other, Monaco won 1 game, Lille won 1 game and had 1 game drawn.

From the previous 5 matches, there are 3 matches that I noticed that both teams can sometimes excel at their respective home or in other words Monaco and Lille are both more confident and appear stronger at their respective home.
But looking at the performance this season, both teams are equally strong and if we choose to bet on the BTTS option it seems very risky and the comfortable option seems to be choosing to bet on under 2.5 or under 3.
From 7 matches, Monaco only conceded 4 times and Lille conceded 8 times. This means that both teams will choose to use a defensive strategy.

The French league is competitive, I wouldn't comment on the fact that the club's out there are not catching, they're just some random average club if you ask me. This season is quite different, anything can happen. The UEFA Champions League is mainly for tougher clubs that are ready to risk them out..What's going on in Ligue One? Paris Saint-Germain ranked second while Monaco sits top of the table. This is no good news for Paris Saint-Germain, they just have to revisit their plans and fixed things up. Paris Saint-Germain have more tough opposition than handling Monaco, it's definitely going to be really competitive season for Paris Saint-Germain.
