PSG only gets 2 wins from 5 latest matches in all competitions at Ligue 1 and in the last week PSG has been failed to win from Nice and this result is makes their position at league standing was overtaked by Monaco but i think this is not a big deal for PSG because i am sure they will be able to return to the winning ways immediatelly and this weekend PSG as a host will playing against Strasbourg and i think the analysis isn't required more for this match because certainly PSG is much better than Strasbourg especially Strasbourg status in Ligue 1 is only small team and i think this is easy match for PSG because Strasbourg is weak team so i am sure PSG will win and my prediction for the final scores of this match is 1-0 or 2-0 for PSG
The draw against Nice was quite surprising, I think there are a few problems with them that make them not get a win in this match and that's why PSG can't get a goal, even the equalizer goal is an own goal, I don't know why, maybe they hid their strength or basically Nice played quite well, looking at the statistics of the Nice match is not so interesting to see because PSG dominated the match, it's just that this draw I can't accept it, Monaco is at the top of the table with 2 points difference, the next match against Strasbourg don't make any more mistakes even though they are a weak team but they can threaten PSG.

[..]PSG as a host will playing against Strasbourg and i think the analysis isn't required more for this match because certainly PSG is much better than Strasbourg especially Strasbourg status in Ligue 1 is only small team and i think this is easy match for PSG because Strasbourg is weak team so i am sure PSG will win and my prediction for the final scores of this match is 1-0 or 2-0 for PSG
From the depth of the squad, strength statistics and past history, Strasbourg is not a tough opponent for PSG in the sense that it is easy to get 3 points, that should be what Luis Enrique's squad does in the match later, but then again this is about football where everything will not go according to plan and you have to see this season Strasbourg only experienced 1 loss, 2 wins, 4 draws and in the previous match they were able to win over Marseille although it cannot be a benchmark, they still have a chance to hold a draw at PSG's home.

I think PSG has the upper hand to win against Strasbourg if you look at their general performance this season, PSG has had some poor result in their recent matches but i don't think it should affect their performance against Strasbourg when they play at home. Luis Enrique will not want to drop points again having dropped points in the last game and looking at the results of Strasbourg since the beginning of the season you could see that they have played more of draws so in the game PSG will definitely do their possible best avoid Strasbourg holding them to a draw at home and since they will be playing in front of their fans they will have enough motivation to Strasbourg.

Do you see the way Barcola performs this season? He is like reborn right?  Grin

Let's take a look at his statistics:

Just look at the difference between these two seasons. A huge one... Mbappe's departure really helped him start shining. Because you know how much Mbappe was at the centre of their game. It is really not good for young talents like Barcola. Now he is free and taking the opportunity really nicely.  Cool  He is only 22 years old now. I think he is PSG's future as long as he keeps going like this.

Especially as long as they don't start relying on a player again like they did with Mbappe. Of course having such player is great but if you don't have a good team effort then it doesn't matter at all.

PSG are in a difficult condition lately so Monaco take advantage of them and are in a good position right now, the points difference between the two is not too far but I think the competition between the two will be full of drama and I think De Zerbi the head coach of Marseille will compete to win the title this season even though they are in a difficult condition lately I think Zerbi will overcome that in the next match to lift Marseille back from the slump.
I don't think PSG is a little bad because this is what football fans expect in league 1 to see competitive competition without the dominance of 1 team and without Mbappe. In fact, PSG is still very consistent without being defeated and has been able to score 21 goals. This is a very good result and currently Monaco is indeed at the top of the standings but I believe whatever happens PSG will easily shift it again. As you said in the upcoming match PSG has an easier opponent and Monaco will certainly find it a little difficult to get full points to beat Lille.

We already knew that PSG would not be able to dominate the league like in previous years. Things will not go as you want in the league after your biggest star player leaves.
PSG had continued to have a certain squad quality by spending a lot of money and making big transfers in recent years. Of course, this dream would end one day. There is a competition in the league again right now, Monaco's current style of play is really going well Smiley

I also did not expect Monaco to make the competition in League 1 interesting, especially in the hunt for the League 1 title. Monaco is the only team that has ever broken PSG's dominance when they had several potential players like when they still had Mbappe. I think after Mbappe left PSG, Monaco was a little relieved because they will use the momentum of this season to return to giving PSG fierce competition. I see their performance is almost the same. I would be very happy if another club would become the champion of League 1 this season. In the Champions League, Monaco's performance is also in the spotlight. They were able to beat Barcelona in their first match. I think that was a good start for Monaco.
Tight competition in the title race is always expected in any league, the same thing is also expected in Ligue 1 instead of letting PSG always dominate the title every season. This season Monaco has aroused fans' passion from how they find themselves at the top of the standings with a 2 point gap above PSG. They capitalized on PSG's mistakes this season and Monaco succeeded in their plans, but it's still too early to draw any conclusions.

PSG is a better team than Monaco so far, in fact almost any new coach can make PSG win the title. But there are different expectations among users, PSG must be stopped so that its dominance in Ligue 1 does not last longer so that competition increases. Monaco and Marseille are two of the three strongest title contenders so far, but again we can't come to any conclusions just yet.

whether there is or not of Mbappe in PSG all this time of course it will not change our view of Ligue 1 which is indeed not competitive at all, so far PSG has indeed experienced some difficulties but it happened in the UCL and not Ligue 1, when there is no other team that is can to rival the finances their owned , then I dont think that if there was a team that could break PSG dominance in ligue 1, PSG can still maintain extraordinary consistency at this time because there is indeed not team stronger from them in the league, maybe Monaco and Marseille are performing very impressively at the moment by successfully get the top of the Ligue 1 standings,  but as always, sooner or later we will see their consistency disrupted which ultimately makes PSG return to the top of the standings, and win the league by leaving other teams quite far away at the end of the season.

In terms of competitiveness across leagues I agree that it makes no difference whether Mbappe is in France or not. For the league itself they lost one of the most important players who was able to draw considerable attention to the league. Now all the Mbappe fans who used to watch PSG games because of Mbappe are now off to watch Real Madrid instead. This doesn't apply to the core PSG fans, but I think the number of people following PSG because of Mbappe was quite high. The effect of these you superstars on global crowds are not to be underestimated, but Ligue 1 will remain quite far below the levels of the Premier League and other European top leagues.

Marseille are much better this season, they started the season impressively, they definitely have the potential to compete for the top of the standings. We certainly don't ignore PSG dominance, but I think Marseille are at least able to put pressure on and make the competition for the Ligue 1 trophy more exciting. Marseille are currently 5 points behind AS Monaco who are currently at the top of the standings, there is still a chance to reduce the points gap in the next matches.
Marseille are stronger and more competitive while PSG are weaker after losing Mbappe and changing their development strategy since in two latest summer transfer seasons. Decreasing quality of PSG at least in this season, will help some clubs in Ligue 1 like Marseille to have better opportunities of competing the league title.

Lille won Ligue 1 title some years ago as a big surprise but if Marseille or any club win Ligue 1 title in this season, it will not be a big shock. Because with strategic changes in PSG, it's expected that their club will have a transitional phase that makes them weaker and can lose Ligue 1 title to other clubs.

Quote
With full focus on domestic competition, De Zerbi seems to be able to make Marseille finish in the Champions League zone, expectations have increased since he took over as manager. If Marseille manages to recruit Pogba in the January transfer window, as is rumored, their strength to become a trophy challenger will be even more taken into account.
A high position in Ligue 1 for joining Champions League next season is important for Marseille. It's their first target in this season, and if possible winning Ligue 1 title will be a very good achievement for their club and De Zebri. Success in Marseille will help De Zebri receiving some good offers in big clubs and improving his coach career.

Last season Nice was at the top of the table for many rounds and Monaco was in 3rd place for many rounds, but then Nice and Monaco started to decline in performance while PSG started to improve a lot and won the league. In my opinion, what happens is that when the league starts, teams like Nice, Monaco and others manage to perform well because PSG still has players who are playing without trying too hard, perhaps because they are very confident, but when PSG players realize that they can lose the title, they start to play well, while teams like Monaco, Nice and others just have injured players, their performance drops and they don't win anything. I believe that the same thing will happen this season and PSG will be champion.

As it stands now, I think Paris Saint Germaine's inconsistency is a huge problem to the club manager Luis Enrique and if something is nothing done to improve their results in the coming weeks, they might end up trailing league leaders Monaco with more than the current 2 points that they're behind with. I expected Paris Saint Germaine to continue their dominance in the league even after the departure of Kylian Mbappe but it seems that the absence of the Frenchman is affecting their performances.
Luis Enrique must as a matter of urgency introduce a tactical approach that'll bring out the best from his players and that he must start with their game against Strasbourg next weekend

Last season AS Monaco began to show clear progress since being coached by Adolf Hutter, although it was not so smooth and consistent, in fact he was able to bring his team to become runner-up in Lique 1. Last season Manaco also managed to occupy the top of the standings for several weeks, unfortunately they were unable to maintain it, because PSG's performance was much better. At the beginning of the new Lique 1 season, Manaco managed to occupy the top of the standings temporarily. Not bad, they gave color to the competition in this competition. Well, even though Mbappe is no longer part of PSG, it does not mean that their dominance will be easily broken by their rival team. The question is, how long will they be able to maintain their position at the top of the standings. Moreover, when they meet the match against Paris Saint-Germains. Even so, at least Manaco has the probability to break the dominance of Paris-Saint-Germains. On condition that their consistency and stability must remain on the right track. The reason is that the thin point difference for PSG is not a problem, PSG could overtake them when these two teams meet. in the Champions League, AS Monaco benefited because one Barca player was given a red card, in the match against Dinamo, Monaco was unable to get full points. Next, Monaco's opponent in the UCL is quite tough, there are several strong teams that can defeat Adolf Hutter's team. In Lique 1, the match against Lille will be a fierce match.

The Monaco vs Lille match will be interesting and PSG vs Strasbourg this week, and I think both will be difficult to get 3 points and both can win the match because the opponents they face are not too surprising and I think both will get 3 full points both Monaco and PSG and I think the French League competition will be fierce until the end because PSG is not as strong as the previous season and this season they are almost equal and that can be used by other teams to find the league champion.
Monaco could win the match if they can play better when hosting Lille at the Stade Louis II, while for PSG I have a little doubt they can win easily at home so the match that might be more fierce is between Monaco vs Lille. Because as you said that this season PSG has experienced something very different so that PSG can no longer win matches easily except with their hard work this season in order to remain champions in Ligue1. Meanwhile, the other teams will also continue to exert their respective abilities to stop PSG's dominance in Ligue1 and that could happen this season.

On what basis do you say that Marseille is stronger than PSG even with the exit of Mbappe? Who is at the top of the French Lig 1 at the moment between both teams? The right answer is Monaco but PSG is still ahead of Marseille with three points. By their recent matches, Marseille have lost one match a drew one showing that they have reduced form so much. PSG on the other hand have maintained their winning streak apart from otwo draw they got. So, in my opinion, PSG is still stronger than Marseille as they are going unbeaten.
As always, Paris Saint-Germain are the most successful team in Ligue 1. No team can be completely dependent on one player, just as PSG were not completely dependent on Mbappe, as PSG have been playing brilliantly so far this season despite Mbappe's departure. However, it is true that when Mbappe was signed to PSG, this team was much stronger, especially in their attacking division.

Marseille are performing well this season in French soccer Ligue One, that doesn't mean they are stronger than PSG. PSG are still second in the standings but have dropped points as they have drawn two matches. Marseille's recent improvement in performance has caught everyone's attention, leading many to think that the club could compete equally with the stronger teams, So they are comparing PSG with this team.

PSG always dominates League One every season, and I am convinced Monaco will fall from first place because PSG is the strongest team in the league and generally wins it every season. Monaco starts this new season in great form, winning all of their matches and only drawing one, while PSG has drawn two games, so PSG still has a chance to top the league table again because I know Monaco can't go unbeaten; they will most likely lose some games because the season hasn't gone far, and they can overtake them. If they can adjust their statistics in their games, because I'm shocked when psg draw against Nice and lose in the UCL against Arsenal, I don't know there real problems or is because of Mbappe that leave them, and they are struggling to score goals. PSG need to sign some striker in the team because Dembale is not in better shap like last season they need to  get another alternative. But I believe that they will come back in form and win the league title, let see how the season will be or Monaco can get the big achievement this time and win the league title.

Greenwood has been the best player Manchester United have even if he doesn't play for the club due to the loan spell, I feel he has made a good account of himself and no UTD play is up to his level. Playing for Marseille has really elevated the club and they have been more dominant than they used to as of last season. I won't say they would have won the league without Greenwood, they couldn't get past PSG because they never had what it took to bypass PSG to become Champions and having a player like Greenwood made the team (Marseille) to be more productive and a better contender in the Ligue 1 to withstand the current Champions, we can see the change he brought to the team and is good that way for PSG to find it hard to win the league, it shouldn't be them all the time.

What do you mean by Greenwood has been the best player that Manchester united have? Was Greenwood extraordinary when playing at Manchester united? Or was he performing better than those he met or left there? For goodness sake, Greenwood was and still an average player despite his current stats. Even with his current performance, I don't know who he can bench at Manchester united now if he should return. The fact he's seemingly doing well in where he is presently doesn't make him better than any United players. His performance at Manchester united is what people are using to judge him and not at somewhere else. Before going to Marseille, they were not doing too bad that we'll assume Greenwood revived them.

Monaco are the leader now in the league. I have missed to see this honestly.  Smiley  This reminds me of their golden age in the 16/17 season especially.

They had such great players such as Falcao, Mbappe and many more great talents. They managed to leave PSG behind and become champions. But after losing many players from that squad, everything changed.

Now they are trying to build a good squad again. Of course it is very difficult to catch PSG's quality. There is a huge money gap for that. But it would be awesome if Monaco stay in the title race until the end anyway.

Hope reappeared after Monaco was able to play well at the beginning of this season and even now they can be at the top of the standings. But if we look back, then this is something we usually see at the beginning of the season. For example, what Nice showed in the last few seasons, they could even be at the top of the standings for a long time, but as the league progressed, they declined and finally Paris Saint Germain was able to regain the position they usually occupy. Well, something like this must be anticipated by the team that can be at the top of the standings, not only Monaco but all teams that have the opportunity to be there. They must be able to ensure that they are consistent enough with their game so that they can maintain their position.
