Metz against Lens will be the opening match of Ligue One this week and as we know the difference in the quality of the players is quite large. There is still a chance for PSG to turn things around but this is of course very difficult to do, Barcelona, who will act as hosts in the second leg, will benefit thanks to their superior goal margin. PSG doesn't lack mentality, but they just lack quality players in the middle. They have good attackers in Dembele, Mbappe and Asensio, but PSG do not have great defenders and midfielders in their squad. It will be sad if they go a Season without a trophy and that's why will not mind winning the trophy this season and getting to add it with any other I'd they get chance at winning another because the champions league is currently looking like they are not going to win it just like that due to the fact that they have lost their first quarter finals game already and they have a very slim chance to proceed to the next stage of the league so they will literally have to work hard if they must get a chance at the champions league again as their opponent isn't even relenting at all to winning the the next fixture.

It's actually no need that the champions league hs always been the biggest drive for PSG and ofcourse they can get it if they are in a better form and have the depth and strength to contend other teams to win the champions league as it's an elite league such that they don't win by mare qualifying, to win the champions league, PSG needs beyond buying new and big players to be able to get the very best off the champions league.

It's a normal thing to see big name players not able to perform or score goals in an important match or when they face fellow big teams, Last night's match was a game night for the Barcelona side to shine, and they did incredibly well, they went on an away match and picked up all three points, and not from a small team but a big team, with this result so far, PSG this season's Champions League trophy hope is almost like gone because this was not even a draw but lost of 3 points 2–3. So, I wonder what they will do when they visit Camp Nou for the second leg game because they will need to work very hard and need two goals to qualify, whereas Barcelona needs little or no goal to qualify for the next stage.
