Tomorrow the French League starts. National matches are good too. But league matches are more exciting for me. That's why I'm looking forward to the start of these matches. Tomorrow we have Le Havre vs Lens. Le Havre lost to Marseille and Lille in their last two league games. Actually Marseille and Lille were strong teams for them. I think these results should be considered a bit normal. On the other hand, Lens, who had a bad start in the French Ligue 1, started to get good results in the last weeks. I think the odds @1.35 for Monaco are still quite good and if Monaco gets odds more than that it might be a bit excessive. The bookie has given the right odds for Monaco's advantage because Nice also has the opportunity to shift their position at the top. Indeed, Marseille is still a strong team, their squad cannot be underestimated and yeah they have the quality to get points in this match. But I am not sure about their current manager Gennaro Gattuso, in the previous season Valencia performance in La Liga was not very good under Gattuso leadership. Nice are favoured to win against Marseille in that game and I think the same as well. Because Marseille aren't in such condition to believe in them. They have lost so many points since the beginning of the season. Marcelino didn't last long and now they have Gattuso as their new manager. They have changed quite many managers recently.

Therefore I think Nice are more credible to bet on considering their form in the recent times as well. I mean Nice beat even PSG away not long ago. If they return strong from the national break as well then they should be able to win this game.

Because their statistics so far have impressed me more than Nice. Because there is clearly a problem for Nice when it comes to productivity. They have scored only 9 goals in 8 matches while Monaco have scored 21.

Of course I know Nice have still managed to stay only one point behind them. But these statistics might not be that promising for consistency. They need to score more goals to increase their chance.

They just need to maintain their best form to stay ahead of PSG because if Monaco and Nice fail to do so, it's possible that PSG will return to the top of the standings in the coming weeks. Moreover, the difference in points is close enough that it can be said that just 1 match can change their position in the standings table. Looking at Monaco's performance this season, of course they are performing better compared to last season, in fact their best achievement is staying at the top of the standings until this season enters its 9th match this week.

Apart from that, PSG lost the balance of their best performance this season because in several matches they failed to get points. Nice is probably better than any team in Ligue 1 up to match 8 of this season because they have never tasted defeat.
