That is the weakness of PSG having a lot of money or being one of the very rich clubs but not knowing how to bring this club to get more trophies in other big competitions whereas if we look at the previous PSG does not lack anything in terms of players and the coach is very strong. but as some people say, money can change everything or change it for the worse.
I really agree with anyone who says PSG should learn from clubs from other leagues such as Manchester City who have been patient in improving their performance every season and that learning starts from consistently being the leader in that league so that if they can master the domestic league for a few months maybe the coach can try to appear strong in the champions league and don't always have to change players and coaches.

In my opinion, the strongest candidate is still PSG. They have better squad depth, if several key players are injured then replacements are available to play. I'm not flattering them, but seeing the PSG squad which have top players at all is a plus point, at least they have good ammunition compared to other teams. Monaco was quite impressive, also Nice club, but is it possible for them to consistently get lots of points until the end? I hope they can do it. Monaco match against Metz should be an easy match for Monaco, I personally will probably bet on Monaco winning anyway.

With the condition of the PSG side, it will be difficult for them to even make it to the Champions League semi-finals. The club lacks the coordination and attacking power it portrayed a few seasons ago. But we can not write off any club because luck also plays a lot of role in football. We have seen some underrated teams winning the cup, an example is Chelsea under Roberto di Matteo. Chelsea winning the competition was a miracle because Andre Villas-Boas was fired because the team was performing badly. But luck made the team to defeat more formidable clubs like Napoli, Barcelona and Bayern Munich to lift the trophy in Munich. 

No matter the weak display of PSG they are still the favorite to win the Ligue 1 title. Monaco and Nice are inconsistent to be projected as potential winners. The season is still fresh to decide who will emerge the champions but it will be good to have another winner after many years of PSG's dominance.

I would say City didn't really ended up being that lucky neither, they won the league that is true but PSG wins their own league as well, and winning the UCL took so many years for City, and spending so much money as well. Which means that PSG needs to realize winning UCL is not easy and you need to build a system. City held on to Pep Guardiola who won the league but failed to get the UCL for so many years, and PSG could win the league and still fire their manager and try another one each season. I am sorry but that is not going to be good.

I think they should get a HUGE name for manager position, and keep spending money, and then wait for 5-7 years for him to win UCL and meanwhile try to get league and domestic cup every season. If they can do that, the team will end up getting better and better each season and they will end up being good.

That's so bad for PSG to count on the other teams to lose points in order to stay first.
I believe a good team has to prove itself in whatever situation and try to get 3 points most of the time. They could win Ligue 1, as usual thanks to the fact that they don't face a hard opponent but when Lille played good seasons before, they picked the title.
Another thing, PSG should try to win Champions League title for once! With such performance they will not be able to win anything for quite long time.

By the way I really like the way Reims manager Will Still manages the team since he took the job. He was actually a gamer who was playing Football Manager before. But after some time he started to make things more serious for himself. First he started as an analyst and now he is a manager who has taken a job at a Ligue 1 team.  

This is a really huge progress for him in his career. I guess that he is the first example of a person who started as a Football Manager gamer and reached this level after making some serious effort in years.

Reims have started this season really well also. Maybe we can see them finishing the league in top 10 this time.

Monaco wining the Ligue one??? How possible? Its definitely too early to draw such conclusions because they are yet to play against the likes of Nice and maybe PSG and the league is still at it's early stage and there is still some more time to improve and get results, if Monaco are unable to sustain their position which they may most likely not they would drop points soonest and not be in position to win the title.

They have had a good start tho and it's the reason they are at the position they are now  but then if they aren't consistent enough they would most likely drop again and be below because there are others aiming for the top spot aswell and we are also hoping PSG picks form soon and get back at the top of the table so Monaco definitely have all these to face after which if they still maintain top spot it could be said they could become the champions of the league.

It would be a different story if we were talking about Paris Saint Germain in the Champions League. They have fallen far behind the other clubs that are in the Champions League. I dare say that because I'm presented with that view if I look at them and also look at the other clubs that are there.
I think many will agree with what I said. I will take 1 club that is the defending champion in the Champions League, Manchester City. If we compare them, then we will see a significant difference, despite Paris Saint Germain's status as a big club in Ligue 1.

Well, it is too early to predict what is going to happen. But I can predict something with confidence and that is PSG is not winning the Champions League competition. I have huge confidence in this particular prediction.

I am also going to make another prediction. I think PSG might be able to win the Ligue-1 title. But they will have to work really hard for that as well. And throughout the season, they are going to be inconsistent. With the kind of situation, they are in right now, I do not think expecting too much from them is actually going to be clever idea.

They don't look like potential winners of the League 1 this season. Don't flatter them or talk them fans Into thinking they've got this. Even if they do, they would be knocked out of the Champions League before they can have enough time to fave the league 1 games back to back.
It's already a decade if I'm not mistaken, a total different club should win.

I would usually agree with you and if you look at the PSG team and check them player by player for their strength, PSG should be able to win the title with ease, but the issue is that PSG has moral issues when they are out of the Champions League. They have had the problem in the past and this has been mentioned here already. It is so right and Mbappe also performs less well when he is only playing for the Ligue 1 title. This could give the other teams a chance to compete with PSG for a long time this season similar to how Lens kept up with them last season. When I see the players I thin they deserve to be playing in the Champions League, but when you see them perform as a team they are not strong enough to beat the main competitors and it has been like that for a while.

You're right though the league haven't gone far and the gap between them and the league leaders is not very wide making possible for them to be able to catch up easily, even though they've underperformed in their recent matches, PSG are still very strong league contenders and I won't be suprised if they win the league again this  season, but I'm very sure that PSG won't win the Champions League, their performance in their group is not convincing and I don't think they'll be able to stand tougher teams.
 
 Mbappè has a very big role to play this season before he probably leaves PSG, their team is balance but what they need is focus and more connection on the pitch to get better results and i believe the goals Mbappè scored against Netherlands would boost his moral when he returns to the team after the international break.

Paris Saint Germaine are just two points behind league leaders AS Monaco in the French Ligue 1 standings and that's why I'm very optimistic that the French champions are still gonna end the season with the French Ligue 1 title, a trophy they've won in 9 occasions in the past 11 seasons.
Yesterday we saw PSG star player Kylian Mbappe score two goals to help his country France defeat the Netherlands and would definitely fire his club back to the summit of the French Ligue 1 standings soon after the international break.

Because the PSG team's performance is starting to decline a little, this has provided an opportunity for other teams to provide more interesting resistance to PSG. The only thing that is still very doubtful is the level of consistency of the other teams in Ligue1 which is still not guaranteed until the end of this season, so PSG could still have a chance to win Ligue1 this season if the consistency of other teams such as Monaco and Nice is broken.

I have never have to push much blame to mbappe because I have most likely not seen him to be the issues as he has always put in his very best but just that sometimes it seems he doesn't have the best complements on the pitch with his team members, ever since Messi and Neymar Jnr left he seem not to have good complement in the front line which has affected him in a way.

The recent issues that also arose in the team few weeks back between him and the management of the team may also be having a long term effects on him as well because ever since he has seem to be more Eger to want to leave than stay and most likely can't wait for the next transfer window for a most probable chance to go to another place where he would mostly excel and get the opportunity to appear and perform on a bigger stage.
