The current competition is still quite tight because PSG restarted in the hunt after the last few matches ended quite well, it's just that looking at the current conditions almost all clubs are still experiencing the same problems in consistency. Even though in the first few matches it was very good when PSG could not do much, especially when their goal productivity was problematic this could be utilized better but unfortunately Nice and Monaco could not do that even though their current position was above PSG but the difference in points was still very little.
Next week Monaco and PSG will face a fairly easy match because Monaco will only play Metz and PSG faces Strasbourg but it's different with Nice because they will have a Bigmatch with Marseille. It could be that the points change back in week 9 which will be held in a few days.

Both Monaco and Nice will miss points whether by draw or by losing some games. That's sure in my opinion. The important thing is PSG dropping points as much as these teams doing in order to see a new winner in Ligue 1.
Points difference are less than 3 points between the three teams. Nice will play vs Marseille which is quite challenging game. Monaco will face Metz and are expected to win. If PSG win their match against Strasbourg then they might end 2nd.

Since Clermont has not won yet, it is very normal for the coach to talk about such things. The coach should gather the team together and get a few wins as soon as possible, but time will tell us whether the team quality will be suitable for this or not. I think they have the quality to stay in the French league, but the right management and selection of players are very important.

Clermont boss, Pascal Gastien would loose his position as headcoach because he's team is comfortably sitting 18th in the relegation zone with terrible stats of 0W 2D 5L. Accumulating just 2 points in R7 games played this season, a very discouraging result for the team. Perhaps there's chances for them to bounce back to winning ways this season. Clermont scoring a draw points with Paris Saint-Germain doesn't make them a strong team because they're weigh below the requirements of Ligue One competitive race. They will be relegated they do not buckle up and bounce back to streak winning of games.

Clermont putting up a strong resistance against PSG that earned them equal points with PSG is something I see as almost normal with smaller teams when they meet with bigger teams, they usually try their best to make sure they put up good performance against big teams and possibly win them so it adds to their records that they have some good strength, this is common even in other leagues.

But I think with that performance Clermont had, if they can maintain such against Lyon , they are most likely to get a win because Lyon is not in that very excellent form considering all the happenings in the club recently, it could be an advantage for Clermont if only they can utilize it enough. Lyon would have been my favourite but then I wouldn't want to underestimate Clermont so I would say to be safe 1.5 goals would be better option to place a bet on or possibly avoid placing a bet on them totally and just enjoy the game.

Monaco and Nice are taking advantage of PSG's condition very well in the league so far. But consistency is always the key factor to become successful. We will see if one of these teams will be consistent enough to be a part of this title challenge until the end of the season. If one of these teams make it I would expect it to be Monaco truthfully.  

Because their statistics so far have impressed me more than Nice. Because there is clearly a problem for Nice when it comes to productivity. They have scored only 9 goals in 8 matches while Monaco have scored 21.

Of course I know Nice have still managed to stay only one point behind them. But these statistics might not be that promising for consistency. They need to score more goals to increase their chance.

Even though the available odds show that Lyon is the favorite to win, it still doesn't seem like it will be easy for Lyon to win the match against Clermont. But indeed, at least with Lyon playing at home and also, at least Lyon still has a better goal productivity record compared to Clermont, then these factors also mean that Lyon can be projected to win. Although indeed, I also doubt Lyon in this match, but I hope that Lyon can win this match because if Lyon fails to win this match, then it looks like Lyon will have a very good chance of being relegated.

Considering they have won ligue 1 and still fired many managers before thinking that is not enough at all (they are right) then I am guessing that the fate of Mbappe will not be decided based on what they will win this season neither. If they win the league, they will not care about that, it's normal for them to win, hell that Lille win season was the worst thing that could have happened for them. They have to win it already, if they lose it somehow then it is going to be one of the worst without a doubt, and they should rethink what they are doing.

I think it is quite obvious that we are going to end up with something that would be a lot more important to change and should not be really changing anything that would ruin anyone's chances. The best thing to do in that case would be the fact that Mbappe could leave and the team would not have that much different result.

For this season, I agree with you regarding PSG chances of winning the European Champions League, plus the other fact that PSG is even having difficulty getting through the group phase because they are in group F, which is known as the Hell group. Likewise with their performance in Ligue 1, they are still missing the balance to top the points table where they usually occupy. For this season, PSG can't talk much, it seems, club officials, management and coaches seem to be more busy with their efforts to keep Mbappe from moving to another club.

Man City, Real Madrid, Bayern Munchen and Inter Milan have better chances than PSG this season, I think the UCL this time will present a new dark horse. All clubs will try to achieve maximum results, surprises seem to occur more often in the group phase because the clubs that were previously favorites to qualify for the last 16 are currently having difficulty.

Time is always moving forward and LYON never learned from its mistake. I have no doubt why lyon placed at the bottom caused by there are so many problems in the club like mismanagement.
The things that i know if there is no either of clubs performed better this season. Lyon is above clermoont with only 1 point yet clermoont was also able preventing PSG to get full ponits which was unexpected result. I think that this club can give us another surprise, but  that depends on which team that playes better in this match. I would rather than stay away from this match.

Doing multi bet by picking this match may give very bad impact as it will able to make our multi becomes collapse.

Winning the Champions League would be peng though but for his own development, I would suggest he makes the switch to Real Madrid important than any other thought. Every player with Cristiano Ronaldo as them idol would want to win the Ballon d'or just like he did.
He should get that too, he needs that Ballon d'or to beautify his football profile.

It's Real Madrid or nothing of I was Kylian Mbappe, another club that would make me reconsider my decisions would be working with Pep Guardiola. Though, he would want to be the prime target all the goals comes from.
Move to Real Madrid should have already been sealed if only Kylian Mbappe kept his side of the bargain.

If you ask me if they will be able to win the Champions League this season then I will answer that they will not be able to win it. Their chances of winning are no greater than any other club that is better prepared than Paris Saint Germain. There are several names that are allegedly going to win the title, one of which is defending champion Manchester City, Real Madrid and other clubs that are better prepared than Paris Saint Germain.
Indeed, they still have a chance, but how big is their chance? that is the question. And I think we will have the same thoughts about Paris Saint Germain in the Champions League.

If you give my post a second read, you will see that I did not mention Real Madrid as a team that needs to get back to full strength because I think at the moment they are already the best team in La Liga What I meant to say is that if Barcelona and Atletico finally get back to good old times, La Liga will also have an intense title fight.

A move to the Premier League is something I would enjoy the most because no matter what character he is, watching him play is usually impressive. He really has not many games without any actions on his part that are world class. I agree that Manchester City is unlikely although I think it could still work with him playing on the left wing and Haaland in the center. But maybe Salah will be bought from an SPL club and Liverpool uses the money to buy Mbappe? That would also be amazing, but I admit this is only a little bit of dreaming. Most likely, if anything he will go to Real Madrid.

Lyon dominated Ligue 1 from 2001 to 2008 seasons and they won 7 titles in a row. That is amazing league win streak from Lyon and we even did not see it with PSG.

PSG won many titles since 2012 - 2013 seasons but they lost their streaks two times and did not have 7-season streak like Lyon.

Let's see the dominations of Lyon and PSG but after losing their league win streak, Lyon has never won it again so far.

You have to understand that if that transfer actually happened, it was going to be the second most influential transfer for the Saudi Pro League. The first one obviously being Cristiano Ronaldo. I said this was going to be the second most influential because if Mbappé actually agreed to go to the Saudi League, a lot more young players were going to be interested in going there. And right now they have already been able to get a lot of legends in there. So young players are what they need right now. that's why there was such a big offering.

Rumors of Mbappe's departure next summer never leave the conversation, which is always a topic of discussion for us, especially in this thread. IMO, Mbeppe's departure this season looks like it will become a reality. remembering, this season is his last season with Les Parisiens. Lyon vs Clermont Foot
Match for both teams not winning yet in Ligue 1 until matchday 8 although with Clermont Foot have one postponed match, but excited because two teams on relegation standing right now exactly with unbelievable Lyon performance in Ligue 1 after playing 8 matches still can't get winning result. Lyon home performance not really well, they have loss 2 of 4 home matches and got 2 draw seems not really impressive although playing on their home. Not difference with Clermont Foot performance both team left have difference one point, which one both team between Lyon or Clermont Foot will get victory for winning match in Ligue 1?

Lyon is most experienced team in Ligue 1 and dominance winning domestic league seven time in a row before PSG dominance, seems unbelievable with Lyon performance have set in relegation placed.

Historically, Lyon is one of the big teams in Ligue 1, but what makes most people doubt it is their consistently poor results so far. Once again, even though Lyon are the hosts, their victory is not completely guaranteed and it is possible that Clerment will actually cause another unexpected surprise, just like their previous meeting. It seems like it would be very risky to bet on this match considering the odds are as strong as 50:50. Maybe I will bet on Lyon again if they can at least be consistent over the next 2 to 4 matches. At least we need the right time to bet and if it were just to guess the result I would fully support Lyon to win.

There will definitely be several reasons when a player decides to leave and look for a new club as a destination to restart his career such as experience, money or even achievements and at this time Mbappe must want that too as a form of seriousness in his career in football.
Money is certainly not a problem when he is at PSG, it's just that the experience of competing is greater and the achievements he receives do not have something that can be considered prestigious at PSG because it will only be the top score and have a trophy in Ligue 1 that will not make him satisfied.
One of the things Mbappe must do is leave if he really wants to find a new challenge just like Haaland who is currently getting a different portion at Manchester City and immediately gets something he can't get at Dortmund during his career.

A Champions League title can change the transfer plans of Kylian Mbappe. The club might decide to give him a more lucrative contract that might make him reconsider his position. But I also think that Mbappe is also in search of personal achievement. I feel that one of the reasons why Real Madrid is his first choice is because a player can easily win the Ballon d’Or. It is also possible that he could also win it if he helped PSG to win the prestigious trophy.

But as we all know the Champions League is still in the group stage and the performance of the French outfit is not encouraging. The club have been struggling to establish itself as the true favourite of Group F, having lost a game and won one. But from Mbappe's blatant refusal to sign a new contract, one can just assume that he is no longer interested in playing in the Ligue One, maybe he needs a new challenge somewhere else. Another section of the media believes that he has already entered an unofficial agreement with Real Madrid, so will definitely join them next season.
