It is not true that a team will perform well if it has a lot of star players in the squad. The bond between the players must be good. If the chemistry between the players is not good, the overall performance of the team is unlikely to improve. PSG had a strong squad. But the understanding between the squad players was not good. PSG have now appointed an experienced coach Luis Enrique to stabilize their squad.
PSG's performance was not too bad in the previous season and they proved that they are always capable of presenting the Ligue 1 title. The problem is they are not able to perform perfectly in the Champions League, because in my opinion the coach they have does not have the skills to face big matches full of pressure. So that their tactics are too easy for the opponent to read and in the end they can't keep up with the match which ended in defeat.

If PSG had hired an experienced coach earlier instead of wasting money on star players, we could have seen a better performance from this team last season.
The presence of Luis Enrique can be a good combination at PSG, apart from having great players at the moment they also have a coach who has good vision. At least we have to see in the next two seasons how Luis Enrique can provide what PSG has never achieved so far.

PSG surprisingly lost from Japan club Cerezo Osaka and playing at Yanmar Field Nagai Stadium PSG has been leading the game at 17 minutes in the first half by Ekitike goal but it took only 5 minutes after that goal Cerezo Osaka can able to equalized the score by Jordy Croux and in the second half PSG has been dominate the game with 72% ball possesions but their defender still hasn't displayed solid defense and which make Cerezo Osaka can added 2 more goals and PSG have to give up with final scores 3-2 and this is poor result from PSG because on the paper they should be able to win easily from Cerezo Osaka and besides that i don't know why seem Luis Enrique didn't played Neymar on that match because in my opinion if Neymar played since the beginning of match probably the result will be different
Neymar could not play his special role for PSG last season. Hopefully this season, Neymar Jr. will make a remarkable comeback from his injury and give PSG something great.

There was no particular offense from Lionel Messi that prompted the fall out with Paris Saint Germaine fans apart from the fact that he was the chief architect of Argentina's victory against France in the 2022 FIFA World Cup final.
Over 90% of PSG supporters are French nationals and you don't expect them to genuinely love the man that denied them the FIFA World Cup trophy. No matter what Mbappe will do to make his move away from Parc des Princes possible, he can't be hated by the PSG fans like they did to Messi because they'll still have to support the French national team which Mbappe is the captain
I feel like there is a good chance that he never won the UCL like they expected him to win with PSG is a big problem as well. They won the ligue 1 title barely and that made them happy a bit but they knew that they would win that without worry, that was already given thing. They wanted some success at UCL and they never got it, for the two years he was there they never went ahead, I mean let alone finals or champions, but they weren't even in semi finals.

That means that he got paid for something and he didn't deliver that thing. They could have won the league title without him as well, there was no need for him there, he was brought in so that they could get UCL and that was his sole purpose and he failed that. Of course not his fault, it's all teams fault, but that made the fans a bit upset.

I just heard the news that the mother and agent of Kylian Mbappe Fayza Lamari is currently trying to convince PSG to lower the transfer price for her son. According to sources circulating, PSG has set a fee of 250 million euros for Mbappe and this is an open fee for any club that wants to sign him. On the other hand, it is possible that Fayza Lamari is very sure that if the transfer fee for her son goes down, the road to Real Madrid will be even more open.

We know that Real Madrid is currently keeping quiet about the situation faced by PSG and Mbappe, moreover Real Madrid also has a bad relationship with PSG, this has made both parties unwilling to talk further about the transfer of this player. However, I think there is some truth in the actions taken by Fayza Lamari to lower prices and given the current situation, she doesn't want her child to suffer more pain at PSG.

It would be better for PSG if Mbappe stays in the team. I'm sure the money isn't the problem because PSG made him an offer he couldn't normally refuse. Everyone has a dream, and it seems Mbappe is determined to follow his dream. With the possibility of transferring to Real Madrid, he also rejects this crazy offer of PSG.
Mbappe himself also has certain reasons for rejecting an offer from PSG for now because now there are rumors about an even crazier bid from PSG for Mbappe. Namely an offer that came from the Saudi Arabian club this summer so it might not be possible for Mbappe to turn to another team and could also allow him to leave PSG at this time. Although Mbappe can still refuse that crazy offer in favor of a team that is more successful than PSG, namely Real Madrid.

If these rumors continue to rise, then it looks like it will indeed be a reality for Mbappe to leave. But indeed, at least PSG still has the ability to be able to hold Mbappe from leaving. Thus, it seems that Luis Enrique ability at this moment will also be needed, at least Luis Enrique can convince Mbappe to stay too. But indeed, at least to convince Mbappe to stay is not an easy job because after all, at this moment Mbappe is no longer easy to be tricked by money. Because also, Mbappe seems to have realized too, that his priority at the moment is to achieve the best results in every competition by winning titles and trophies.

There was this article that was posted on Forbes that Mbappe was offered a staggering amount of $1.1 Billion for a 'lifetime contract' by the PCG. Though I do not know if he would accept this or not, this is just completely outrageous to hear. If he were to accept this, it would be the highest money paid for an athlete in the whole history of sports.

While I do understand that Football is the most famous sport in the world, hearing that teams are willing to dish out this amount of money may inspire others to do their very best in the most competitive sport ever. I just hope that he remains on the team as he cements the achievement of being Top 1 in the world of football.

You literally described the impossible here. Wink What are the chances that we will see a trio that is equal to Messi, Xavi and Iniesta in their prime? Smiley But I agree that players like Messi are amazing, but you have to have players that complement his way and skillset. Messi is not a player with a lot of field coverage but he makes up for it due to his unmatched offensive qualities. Iniesta and Xavi were perfect for Messi. Having a central midfielder and an offensive midfielder like that duo while also having Messi, that's an amazing combo.
A team cannot win by having stars while there is no coordination between them and the other players don't help them the right way.
For Messi, he had a very bad first year in PSG then he improved. Neymar suffered from many injuries. Mbappe was their main player who is quite stable. Losing Messi and Mbappe will be hard for them.

I think one of the biggest problems in a team like PSG is t he egos of the players and it is even worse when those players are both competing for the Ballon d’Or. I think there is often a second thought involved when it comes to which player is taking the free kick or the penalty or what decision does a player make when they can score and it is either pass to the teammate or try it yourself. Having two of the biggest alphas on the team can be complicated to handle and this is what he have seen in PSG as well with Messi and Mbappe.

In order for the midfield to work when Messi is there, also there must be players of the level of Iniesta and Xavi in the prime. In the game with Bayern, after a corner, Messi returned to his own half in pedestrian mode (when the opponent already had the ball) and this was far from the end of the match. No matter what level your skill is, it is impossible to beat the top teams without intensive movement. For PSG, Mbappe and Neymar are things of the past. Unfortunately, this has not yet been formalized (and in the case of Neymar, this can drag on for years) and both sides suffer from continued cooperation.

Some things become visible "later"  Wink For example, the greatness of the trio Casemiro - Modric - Kroos became clear probably when it had already disintegrated. It is possible that someone who is already playing now will later be recognized as great.
As for Xavi and Iniesta, it was Messi who complemented them, but not vice versa - without Messi they took the 2008-2012 treble. And in two of the three tournaments, Messi was completely identically replaced by Villa.

If the problem is only with their midfield, then Messi shouldn't leave in a bad way because of the fans wishes too. Also, regarding the transfer window so far PSG has brought in many new players and some of them are midfielders who are also relatively young. With such arrivals, it is hoped that PSG performance next season can be better. But it seems, it might be useless too if players like Mbappe and Neymar are no longer comfortable playing at PSG because the situation and conditions don't seem to be improving for them.

Messi is not comfortable at PSG because most PSG fans don't like him. He was the winner of the World Cup title when Argentina beat France in the final, so of course some PSG fans who incidentally are French citizens are not happy with Messi's presence. Since Messi defended PSG, I don't think he gets good respect from some of the fans, obviously it's bad for the psychology of the player.

Kylian Mbappe left because of his desire and ambition to achieve individual achievements with other teams. He's having a hard time proving himself better at PSG because his team can't win the Champions League title, but that's possible if Mbappe plays for a team like Real Madrid or another top team. The situation is not conducive, but it's not PSG who want it but it's because of the player himself.
PSG welcomed Messi with great celebrations at the start but gave him a painful farewell when he left the club. Lionel Messi endured a lot of insults from the crowd towards the end of his PSG career. If the supporters of his club make negative comments, then a player does not have the mentality to play for that club. PSG want to do exactly the same to Mbappe as they did to Messi. Mbappe was highly valued by PSG towards the end of the season but PSG have been trying to avoid Mbappe since they learned of Mbappe's departure. Even if PSG can behave like this with Messi, I don't think PSG can behave like this with Mbappe because if any injustice is done with Mbappe, PSG fans will never accept it because Mbappe is a French star.

a team having star players will not guarantee if it will be successful like PSG in the previous season had 3 very good players like Messi, Neymar and Mbappe but in reality they always failed to get the champions league title and could only get the title in League 1 .
if you say PSG will be luckier when it is faster to get Enrique than just buying star players that will also not give guarantees and in my opinion comparing Enrique is no better than Galtier as PSG coach and all this in my opinion PSG failure in the champions league is just less solid between players with their coach so that the chemistry you mention won't appear between them.

I was also aware about that. I meant how PSG fans treating messi differently after messi was beating french in the world cup final. So many hates came to the messi and that's become the main reason why PSG fans didn't like him and continuously boed messi once he was performing so badly for PSG. That's disrupting messi's mentality. That's why messi rejecting latest offer from PSG to extend his contract in the club.
The story about messi already ended and it's time for mbappe's show. This guy is even much more complicated compared to PSG. PSG shall have stopped in lobbying him caused by mbappe didn't wanna take win-win solution.

Mbappe has not left yet from the club. He is still staying in PSG till his contract gonna be running out. The problem is now if PSG already moves on from him. The club already took the decision regarding his future.
Mbappe will not be included in the list of players for next season. It's how PSG was avenge his irresponsible to the club. I'm supporting PSG in this caused by the club was paying his salary.

Everyone has a dream, and it seems Mbappe is determined to follow his dream. With the possibility of transferring to Real Madrid, he also rejects this crazy offer of PSG.
If money was the reference then Mbappe would have gone to the Arab League by now.
But he realizes, he still has the potential to be a bigger player than now so rather than chasing big money with a long contract he prefers to be passive and stay with his decision to wait another year at PSG and not want to extend the contract.

This condition is the most possible for Mbappe but of course PSG is the one who loses after what they get and a new offer with a 10-year contract extension is also not too reasonable so the best option for Mbappe if he does not want to continue to be associated with drama is to leave as soon as possible.
PSG fans can still be said to be quiet because they realize that if they are now impulsive then Mbappe's price will not go down.
Kylian Mbappe I think isn't considering the amount of wages he'll receive while making the decision to join another club rather he wants to leave Paris Saint Germaine because he thinks the fans of the club doesn't respect him again and he also wants to go to club where his dream of winning the UEFA Champions League trophy can be accomplished and that's why his preferred destination is Real Madrid.
If PSG couldn't get a club that'll sign the Frenchman this summer, it means that he'll have to play his final season with the team before leaving the club
From a business perspective it is not worth it and not an option for PSG so they are trying to sell now.
Madrid are actually smart because they remain passive and wait to see how PSG and Mbappe solve their problems and of course this is beneficial.

Mbappe will not want to extend the contract and that is now certain especially with the pressure from PSG and their relationship now getting strained so it is certain that his decision to leave sooner or later will definitely happen.
But whatever it is I don't think PSG will let Mbappe go as a free agent and even if they can't now, the possibility of letting him go in the winter transfer window is possible if there is no middle ground between Mbappe and PSG.
Although it would definitely be a bit of a loss, it would still allow them to earn money and other clubs who want Mbappe wouldn't have the hassle of waiting half a season.

In fact, they didn't like Messi because they were expecting to see a better performance from him, and for any loss in PSG and anytime when the team had a bad performance they were blaming Messi and some other players, while players like Messi needed some more respect in the team he plays there. That's why he couldn't have enough focus there.

PSG fans are almost the same as the club owners who always want something instant, which is why they treat Lionel Messi very differently compared to his initial presence at PSG, at first they were very warmly welcomed because they thought something extraordinary would happen to the club because of Messi's presence, but it changed because it was not as expected so Messi decided not to renew his contract at the Parisian club. Owners and fans think that having Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe will give certainty to the champions league title they really dream of, so in the end the money that has been spent has been wasted because it only succeeded in domestic competition.
And now it is reported that PSG fans don't like Lucas Hernandez's presence just because he was born in the city in which the club is PSG's competitor, namely the Olympics Marseille, how could this happen and it only happened at PSG, and maybe they will treat Luiz Enrique the same when this season fails in the competition they really hope to win.

Alot of concentration on the big names, they ought to focused more on the board who are the main problems and they causes everything that's happening in the club presently. Leo Messi is a top player, he earned his time in European football and in elite clubs. PSG always booed and shades him on social media, he's definitely not the problem of the club. PSG lacks what it takes to lift memorable titles, their competition is always within the league and not outside. They will not survived, that's just the truth. PSG possessed the financial resources to make things better for the club, but there challenges is not finance, rather incapability to enhanced their club.

PSG is relenting in their duties as an elite club, the board and the supporters are possibly the causes of their problems. The parisians becomes too comfortable with winning the Ligue One every season, they never bothered about other top competition like the UEFA Champions League, it was really one good choice to make when they signed Leo Messi, but it turns out that the fans blamed and booed him on the pitch whenever the team loses a game. Not only him, they did it to Neymar Jr, infact that has become a regular habits from them, it should be stop and those caught should faced substantial fines.
