Yeah PSG will indeed beat Brest and maybe badly. What len01 said is interesting. The odds are slim so betting for PSG to win is kinda obvious and not profitable. Betting on the number of goals might be a risky and more profitable move.
Except from the last game against St-Etienne where Brest ended it with 4-0 victory, Brest lost by two and five goals. Considering how PSG performed so far then it might be possible to see them scoring many goals. I could say two goals are almost certain, 3 goals are possible too.

Brest was actually not bad enough last season. I mean, the club's achievements last season were not bad, they could even enter the top 3 in French Ligue 1.



However, it is very different in the 2024/2025 season where Brest's performance has dropped drastically. They have only won 1 match and the rest have lost completely, including when they were slaughtered by Marseille.

Luis Enrique has rebuilt the squad, and it looks like another French title race could be on the way. They’re still strong in Ligue 1, and I don’t see any major issues. while the French giant is adjusting to life without Kylian Mbappe, Enrique seems more focused on the Champions League this season. From what I’ve read, he’s happy with the squad, and now they need to unlock their potential to achieve big things in this new phase of the league.

Although in the last two seasons at least there have been surprises about Brest and Lens but anyway, the reality is that they are also always doubted to be able to survive in the top four. But who would have thought, at the end of the season they managed to be in the top four and it was a doubt that happened before but in fact they managed to finish in a very good position as a mediocre team. Thus, maybe this season we will also be faced with Nantes who might succeed like Brest and Lens.

But even so, I personally will still doubt Nantes because I am sure, over time Nantes may fall too but indeed,  will not fall into the relegation zone. Because after all, basically Nantes has always been a team that struggles in the middle zone of the standings or also struggles in the lower zone of the standings every season. On the other hand, even though PSG is more favored, in football, everything can happen. Likely Brest will play mostly defensive in this game and wait for a gap to counter after. In football, that can be a worthy strategy, waiting to counter: if it's performed right total defense – Sure it's hard, having full of stars attacking line like PSG. Of course, they are bulky and difficult to capture.

As for player rotation, it can be indicated that while Enrique might wish to maintain his key players fit for the Champions League match, PSG is likely to expose most of their main players in order to win. We’ll see how the match advances but with all those advantages that PSG has, it’s normal for many to make big-win predictions.

After the international break, I expect some of the Paris Saint Germaine players who went to represent their national teams to feel some kind of fatigue because of the stress of flying to different countries but for Brest, most of their players didn't get invitations from their respective national teams. PSG game against Brest this weekend will be played at the Parc des Princes in Paris which is a home of the French champions so despite the inconvenience in the PSG camp, I still expect them to easily get all three points from the game

Firstly, the Brest team was never a strong opponent for PSG. PSG team is strong, while Brest team is far behind PSG. PSG players are also very confident this season. PSG team has been able to win by dominating PSG in every match. As PSG boys have performed well in every match. So it can be assumed that PSG players will be confident in the match against Brest as well.

Brest, on the other hand, lost badly in the first two matches. Even against Marseille, the Brest team conceded 5 goals. Brest's defense is not strong. If PSG players can use this opportunity, PSG will win this match by a big margin.



PSG are far ahead in head-to-head statistics. PSG are unbeaten in 18 matches. And won 16 matches. Only two matches were drawn. So I would say PSG are very unlucky if they lose points in the next match.

Last season, this team was usually in the middle of the French League, interestingly they were able to finish in third place in the standings until the end of the season. I am one of those who do not believe in this assumption, how can losing Mbappe destroy PSG game because football is a team game, not an individual game. Luis Enrique is not a coach who only cares about one player, he does not make a particular player special in the team so that losing that player has a positive impact on his team's game. PSG players managed to show their best performance at the start of this season, their game was much better than before and this happened after Mbappe left.

The reason I believe that PSG is able to score over 2.5 is because from the 3 matches that PSG has played, this team has managed to score 13 goals and Brest currently has a very weak defense conceding 7 goals. Brest current condition gives PSG a great opportunity to score at least 3 or 4 goals if possible. Enrique is very confident that this season will bring PSG to the top of the standings with a very large points difference with other teams.

In games like this most persons do Jude by impulse because of the superiority of the other team, PSG is the team with the superiority where and so it's enough reason for others without hesitation to just consider them the favourite for the game but for me I don't do so, I make some reservations especially if I'm to place a bet on them and by that I mean I try to look into possible evenly of the game probably the number of goals, corner, cards or other available predictive options but I may risk it on another ticket that the superior team will win, generally I'm just saying there's never an absoluteness in the predictions of the possible outcome of a football game because most times we don't have that absolute control over the outcome and results of this games and this doesn't dispute the fact that PSG remains the superior team still.

Nantes also have made a really good start to the season. 2 wins and a draw. I have checked their squad and I can't say I know most of the names there. But for now the team effort is just fine. 

Do you expect them to finish at one of top positions this season? I haven't watched any of their game so that's why I'm asking if you have watched. We are likely to see this kind of teams making surprises in this league you know.
