Without further analysis, most bettors would bet on PSG victory without hesitation. But for me the odds of PSG winning are very small and will probably prefer to bet on PSG score over 2.5.
Brest was actually not bad enough last season. I mean, the club's achievements last season were not bad, they could even enter the top 3 in French Ligue 1.

However, it is very different in the 2024/2025 season where Brest's performance has dropped drastically. They have only won 1 match and the rest have lost completely, including when they were slaughtered by Marseille.

So, I'm sure enough that PSG will also beat Brest...

Yeah PSG will indeed beat Brest and maybe badly. What len01 said is interesting. The odds are slim so betting for PSG to win is kinda obvious and not profitable. Betting on the number of goals might be a risky and more profitable move.
Except from the last game against St-Etienne where Brest ended it with 4-0 victory, Brest lost by two and five goals. Considering how PSG performed so far then it might be possible to see them scoring many goals. I could say two goals are almost certain, 3 goals are possible too.

So far PSG have won all three of their games and in an impressive fashion as well so it will be difficult for Brest to get something out of this. Of their last three games, it's only one win they have to boast of and sitting in 12th place doesn't help their case either. I see this game going a bit one way and that is in the favor of PSG because Luis Enrique's men will be looking to continue in their sterling ways, adapting well to life without Mbappe and I do not see Brestois being a problem, or maybe they can if they play their cards right since in football anything can happen.
psg had a perfect start to the new season, even without Mbappe, winning all three of their first matches. Luis Enrique has rebuilt the squad, and it looks like another French title race could be on the way. They’re still strong in Ligue 1, and I don’t see any major issues. while the French giant is adjusting to life without Kylian Mbappe, Enrique seems more focused on the Champions League this season. From what I’ve read, he’s happy with the squad, and now they need to unlock their potential to achieve big things in this new phase of the league.

Nantes also have made a really good start to the season. 2 wins and a draw. I have checked their squad and I can't say I know most of the names there. But for now the team effort is just fine.  Smiley

Do you expect them to finish at one of top positions this season? I haven't watched any of their game so that's why I'm asking if you have watched. We are likely to see this kind of teams making surprises in this league you know.

Like the Brest example from the previous season.  Wink  I see that Lens also started well. It is good to see that. You know they finished the 22/23 season by only one point behind PSG and joined the Champions League.

Although in the last two seasons at least there have been surprises about Brest and Lens but anyway, the reality is that they are also always doubted to be able to survive in the top four. But who would have thought, at the end of the season they managed to be in the top four and it was a doubt that happened before but in fact they managed to finish in a very good position as a mediocre team. Thus, maybe this season we will also be faced with Nantes who might succeed like Brest and Lens.

But even so, I personally will still doubt Nantes because I am sure, over time Nantes may fall too but indeed,  will not fall into the relegation zone. Because after all, basically Nantes has always been a team that struggles in the middle zone of the standings or also struggles in the lower zone of the standings every season. Therefore, I will still doubt Nantes because I think, Nantes is still very likely to slip.

Don't be too satisfied with what Nantes showed at the beginning of this season, because in reality they are a club that can only compete in the middle of the table, even last season they had to end the league in 14th position, that shows that they are not strong enough to be able to compete at the top. I'm not trying to underestimate them at all, but this is my realistic assessment of them based on what they showed in previous seasons. We still don't know whether they will be able to maintain what they showed at the beginning of this season, or they will have to experience a setback in the middle of the season. Usually clubs like them will weaken when they are in the middle of the season, that's what worries me that makes me unable to say they will be able to be better even though at the beginning of the season they showed something good.

Last season, this team was usually in the middle of the French League, interestingly they were able to finish in third place in the standings until the end of the season. This season, it is clearly not easy to repeat how they played their matches like the previous season. At the beginning of Ligue 1, Brest fell at home with a score of 0-0 by Leverkusen. Next week Brest will visit the Parc des Princes, the home of Paris Saint-Germain. It is not an easy match for Eric Roy's team, which is PSG's positive trend in its three matches, especially since Brest acts as the away team. So it is clear that PSG is far superior in the match between these two teams. Moreover, if we refer to the betting exchange odds, there is a fairly obvious gap. Which can be interpreted, PSG will make Brest their goal barn. At least, based on my theory. Although PSG will host Girona in the Champions League after playing their match against Brest, it seems that Enrique will not rotate his players much. But we'll see later, when these two teams will play their match. I suspect Brest will choose a defensive pattern.

This is indeed a reasonable forecast, that PSG will be the dominant side in the game against Brest. PSG has a much stronger squad, and they are trended positive, while Brest will most likely have trouble to keep up their performances from last season, especially against a team like PSG.

On the other hand, even though PSG is more favored, in football, everything can happen. Likely Brest will play mostly defensive in this game and wait for a gap to counter after. In football, that can be a worthy strategy, waiting to counter: if it's performed right total defense – Sure it's hard, having full of stars attacking line like PSG. Of course, they are bulky and difficult to capture.

As for player rotation, it can be indicated that while Enrique might wish to maintain his key players fit for the Champions League match, PSG is likely to expose most of their main players in order to win. We’ll see how the match advances but with all those advantages that PSG has, it’s normal for many to make big-win predictions.

After the international break, I expect some of the Paris Saint Germaine players who went to represent their national teams to feel some kind of fatigue because of the stress of flying to different countries but for Brest, most of their players didn't get invitations from their respective national teams. PSG game against Brest this weekend will be played at the Parc des Princes in Paris which is a home of the French champions so despite the inconvenience in the PSG camp, I still expect them to easily get all three points from the game

PSG has a great chance to get further away from their rivals at the top of the Ligue 1 standings, facing brest is certainly not a difficult match for PSG considering their dominance so far, brest who last season was able to perform surprisingly, but this season is quite disappointing if you see that they have only got 1 win from 3 matches they have played,  last season when Brest performed quite well in the league but PSG was able to win points over them, so I think when Brest is in a bad condition like now, of course, 3 points will absolutely be PSG will get it back later, although indeed currently Mbappe is no longer in the squad but to face Brest, it seems that the same formation when Enrique applied in the match against Lille was enough to destroy Brest later in the match.
Brest is indeed not a tough opponent for PSG this season even though PSG only has a makeshift squad this season but it is still much better than the squad owned by Brest. I will not be surprised and amazed if PSG can immediately get full points again in the next match in Ligue 1 because PSG's dominance is still quite extraordinary this season, but we still don't know how PSG will perform when they play in the Champions League this season because Ligue 1 is not a difficult thing for PSG to become champions again this season.

Firstly, the Brest team was never a strong opponent for PSG. PSG team is strong, while Brest team is far behind PSG. PSG players are also very confident this season. PSG team has been able to win by dominating PSG in every match. As PSG boys have performed well in every match. So it can be assumed that PSG players will be confident in the match against Brest as well.

Brest, on the other hand, lost badly in the first two matches. Even against Marseille, the Brest team conceded 5 goals. Brest's defense is not strong. If PSG players can use this opportunity, PSG will win this match by a big margin.

PSG are far ahead in head-to-head statistics. PSG are unbeaten in 18 matches. And won 16 matches. Only two matches were drawn. So I would say PSG are very unlucky if they lose points in the next match.

Though some believed losing Mbappé would ruin them, they are proving everyone else incorrect. The squad seems eager overall, the new men fit in, and the goals are flowing. Extending Enrique's contract? intelligent action. PSG is laying an era, not only for today. They are not fiddling; they want that Champions League trophy

Regarding Brest now... Surely, they are the underdogs. Still, this is football; everything is possible. Who knows? If they play with discipline and find PSG off-peak? But PSG is the preferred by mile. Here the true story is PSG's resilience. Their stars vanished, but rather of collapsing they grew stronger. A real champion is marked by that
I am one of those who do not believe in this assumption, how can losing Mbappe destroy PSG game because football is a team game, not an individual game. Luis Enrique is not a coach who only cares about one player, he does not make a particular player special in the team so that losing that player has a positive impact on his team's game. PSG players managed to show their best performance at the start of this season, their game was much better than before and this happened after Mbappe left.

PSG is starting to put their trust and hope in Luis Enrique. The club's board of directors is trying to extend his contract and make him a coach who can build a new era for PSG. The Champions League trophy is the only target that has not been won so far, they hope Luis Enrique can make this dream come true with financial support to bring in several top players.

Brest is not an ideal opponent for PSG, the different results achieved by both teams since the start of the season give an advantage to PSG, PSG increasing performance recently means Brest has to play closed with a focus on defense. Although anything can happen in football, Brest's chances of stealing points from PSG are very small, this match will be lopsided because PSG will try to get a fourth consecutive win.

Without further analysis, most bettors would bet on PSG victory without hesitation. But for me the odds of PSG winning are very small and will probably prefer to bet on PSG score over 2.5. The reason I believe that PSG is able to score over 2.5 is because from the 3 matches that PSG has played, this team has managed to score 13 goals and Brest currently has a very weak defense conceding 7 goals. Brest current condition gives PSG a great opportunity to score at least 3 or 4 goals if possible. Enrique is very confident that this season will bring PSG to the top of the standings with a very large points difference with other teams.

In games like this most persons do Jude by impulse because of the superiority of the other team, PSG is the team with the superiority where and so it's enough reason for others without hesitation to just consider them the favourite for the game but for me I don't do so, I make some reservations especially if I'm to place a bet on them and by that I mean I try to look into possible evenly of the game probably the number of goals, corner, cards or other available predictive options but I may risk it on another ticket that the superior team will win, generally I'm just saying there's never an absoluteness in the predictions of the possible outcome of a football game because most times we don't have that absolute control over the outcome and results of this games and this doesn't dispute the fact that PSG remains the superior team still.

Week 4 will be a match between Paris Saint Germain vs Brest. This should be a match that Paris Saint Germain can win, Brest has lost 2 of the 3 matches they have played, that means their strength is not the same as last season where Brest could compete at the top of the standings and could win 1 ticket to go to the Champions League. I don't remember the last time Brest was able to beat Paris Saint Germain, because based on the data I saw from 2010 the best achievement when facing Paris Saint Germain was only being able to draw. They often struggle and even when they were in their best form last season, they couldn't beat Paris Saint Germain. Paris Saint Germain is highly favored to win.

I will also bet PSG to win. The first reason is that PSG are in very good form right now. In every match we have seen PSG players perform well. Also the bonding between PSG players is very strong. Because of this they can play well against any team. Even in the last match against strong Lille, PSG players performed well. Therefore, in such a situation, the Brest team is not a strong opponent for PSG.

Another reason to consider PSG favorites against Brest is that Brest's defense is quite weak. Brest conceded 5 goals against Marseille and conceded two goals against Lens. So Brest's players have very little chance of resisting against PSG's powerful attack. PSG are also unbeaten in their last 10 matches against Brest. And out of these 10 matches, PSG won 9 matches and one match was drawn.

What is Les Parisiens without Kylian Mbappe? We all have different view of what the club would look like but it becomes stable when they've one of the prominent coach. PSG are doing so well without Mbappe in the team, gaining full confidence to win games and its amazing to watch their new pattern of football and having top talents to replaced their main player. We gives accolades to the coahc, Luis Enrique knows the job he got employed for and he will deliver every area at his best reach. PSG winning all consecutive fixtures this season, smooth running for them. Paris Saint-Germain headcoach, Luis Enrique having his best moment the early starts of the 2024/2025 Ligue One season.

Last season we saw Luis Enrique rest Mbappe for several matches. And Luis Enrique experimented with the squad. So last season we saw unstable performance of PSG in several matches. But this season it appears that Luis Enrique has succeeded in his experiment. PSG team is able to perform well without Mbappe, the most important player in the squad.

PSG's squad is now full of young players. And these players are able to perform very well. Dembele, Asensio, Barcola, Ramos and Kolo Muani are all performing well in every match. And the important thing is that the PSG team is no longer dependent on any particular player.

Based on the performance of both teams, PSG will not experience any difficulties when facing Brest, PSG have improved tremendously this season even without Mbappe in their squad. Their goal productivity is increasing and the players are starting to fit in with the strategy used by the coach. It is very difficult to stop PSG when their performance is like this, especially a team like Brest who has only managed to get one win from the three games played.

PSG management is very satisfied with Luis Enrique's current performance, they plan to extend the coach's contract which will end in June 2025. Luis Enrique played a key role in this summer's transfer plans, his success in bringing together players made the Management try to extend his contract because he had contributed and been involved in the important project that was being developed. He is expected to make PSG a respected club in Europe like Manchester City experienced with Pep Guardiola, PSG has made a very good decision, PSG future will be brighter if Luis Enrique serves as coach for the long term.
