Last season was a glorious journey for the Brest, even since the beginning of the season they have been able to continue to stick tightly to PSG in the ligue 1 table although at the end of the season they started to experience inconsistency and must to end the season in the third positions, Brest have actually tried to improve the quality of their squad in the summer transfer market but so far we not seen any improvement in their squad, Although it is too early for us to judge them, but it seems that this season Brest will not be able to repeat all their achievements like last season, with a tight schedule and also a squad that can be said to be not too luxurious, of course it is difficult for them to compete, especially the Champions League, I think Brest will be one of the teams that will come out of the Champions League quickly and for this season most likely they will only be a team that is in the middle of Ligue 1, because many other teams who has improved the quality of their squad better than Brest.

Brest is actually a team competing in the middle of the table, but last season they were surprisingly able to show a very good performance so that they were able to be in 3rd position and also go to the Champions League to represent Ligue 1 with Paris Saint Germain and Monaco. It was an achievement for them because they were able to show something good like that. This season they started the league with a less than good performance so that they have already felt 2 defeats. I personally am not too surprised if Brest declines at this time, because they have just been in the top board and maybe they are not used to the pressure and expectations that come to them. There is still time for them to rise and return to showing performance like last season.

Yes, I believe everyone agrees that Paris Saint Germaine is still playing like the best and strongest French club at the moment despite not having Kylian Mbappe in their ranks. Marseille will not always be able to rely only on its young players, what we mean is Greenwood. This player is good, he has proven it. However, if Greenwood is not in his form then De Zerbi knows very well that he needs a pure striker who can be relied on to score goals. As for PSG, as we have discussed in many previous threads. that they are still a strong team, even though their mega star players have left. especially under the direction of Luis Enrique, it seems that this Spanish coach is building Paris Saint-Germain with the system and style he wants. IMO, the change in PSG's game is quite obvious under Enrique's tutelage, their teamwork is increasingly prominent. it could be that Marseille will be an obstacle for PSG to retain the trophy, but we don't know for sure how De Zerbi's squad will perform in the following matches. for now, they are performing much better. in fact, I really hope Marseille can return to being a team in the top four in this competition until the end of the season. there is a slight difference of opinion from us, IMO, it is Marseille who will have a hard time stopping Paris Saint-Germain.

Obviously PSG happens to be a better opponent against Brest and it's almost natural they become the favourite as against brest, they have got a better squad, depth and even strength so much that they aren't equals even without mbappe who has been one back none of PSG all these years but then the challenge still remains that football isn't absolutely predictable especially with circumstances, by all standards, even in paper PSG rightly should win especially looking at the poor performance brest have had in the past few games they have played this season. I'm trusting they improved hopefully but not against PSG, another factor is the poor defense system brest has got, it's an advantage for PSG so expecting good number of goals wouldn't be a bad idea.

PSG dominate Ligue 1 and are the biggest contenders for the title in their league every season. Mbappe's departure is not a problem for them. Because Luis Enrique didn't build his team on Mbappe and this allows them to play a stable game in the league. But I don't think PSG have enough squad to compete in the Champions League, you need big players and magicians and PSG lack the players who can save games. If you think of Real Madrid, Manchester City or even Barcelona, I would say that PSG will have a very difficult task in the Champions League with their current squad.

I don't really want to speculate too far, because we only have three matches that we have just watched. Although their performance is quite impressive, we don't know for sure their next performance. However, we agree that PSG is much more solid this season. The gameplay that Enrique implemented went very well. Although there were no mega star players, they performed impressively in their three matches. Let's just assume that PSG players are able to be consistent with their performance, it's just that they are not necessarily able to do the same thing in the Champions League. The problem is, some players have not been properly tested on a bigger stage. What I mean is the recruitment of young players, such as Barcola and others. Even so, Paris Saint-Germains is still a team to be reckoned with in the Champions League. Although, the chance to become a candidate for champion seems not yet time for them.

PSG is always doing well in their domestic league and that is why we are seeing these wonderful performances from them in their previous matches and from the look of things, they will sury be consistent and winning the league is certain for them. Enrique is doing a great job in the club but i cannot say that they have improved in performance if they can only win their domestic league which is a norm for them.

Not having a super star player might affect them in UCL and that is where the problem lies because for a club to be successful in UCL, you must have a world class player with much experience to win UCL, you can check out the past records of club that won UCL in the last five years. These new young players lack experience and when they are faced with big clubs, they will not be able to pave their way through.

I'm surprised they decided to give Brest this little percentage chance of wining when we all no that Brest was one of the best club on the last season league, however this is the kind of match most gambler normally risk there money on since they gave Brest this kind of odd, however I'm still trying to figure out how the match will results at the end because the both team is very good but I no that PSG has more performance but sometimes the we maybe thinking acertain club will win will but at it will not.

However one thing about Brest is that whenever they meet PSG they add up there performance the more, so actually in as much as they gave PSG a wining odd but I don't think I can bet a straight wining on them because unexpected can possibly happen on that match because Brest can hold them to a draw, however I would like to see your own view on that.

So far the average goal scored by PSG in their last 3 matches is 3 goals and indeed this team is very solid especially since they fought very hard to secure the top position at the beginning of the season. If we look at the comparison last season they were not like this and now PSG is much more dominant.

Brest is indeed very chaotic and who would have thought this team would experience such a drastic decline in performance and I think they will not be able to repeat the same success as the previous season. If normal time bets only give small odds, I think there is nothing wrong with betting on the over 3.5 goal result but I also quite doubt that later Brest could have corrected their mistakes and on the other hand make it very difficult for PSG to break into their goal with a big score. So to be safe, I think I will bet on PSG even with only small odds @1.32

Though it's too early to predict how the French Ligue 1 is going to play out but I think we can take a whole lot from what we've seen already. Paris Saint Germaine in my own opinion is going to successfully defend the league title but will face a strong contention from Olympic Marseille this season.
Marseille have been immense with their performances so far and their summer signing who happens to be Manchester United former player Mason Greenwood was very quick to pick up from where he left last season at Getafe where he played as a loan player and if he can continue with his current performance, stopping Marseille will be very difficult

But at least even though it is still too early to discuss how PSG in the Galacticos era some time ago and the new era now where they don't really see the star players being privileged but in the end at the beginning of this season they still have to be appreciated because of the changes in the scheme made and PSG's bold steps, especially Enrique, who changed the flow of PSG where previously it was always used as galacticos in Ligue 1 and now changed to a club that relies on young players it is certainly a bold and risky decision but Enrique was able to answer that with a good performance which in my opinion deserves praise for now.

It remains to be seen what the continuation towards the half of the season will be like because it is only the beginning and there are not many schedules they have at the moment but when this is as expected then of course this can be a good reference and a good encouragement for his performance in the matches they will do this season because a good performance at the beginning of the season can increase their hopes and confidence to be even better in the end.
