Things come and go.
It's challenging to be consistent on the forum, and yours truly has been quite aware of this (hint: 534).
Often, this is not possible for the greater good of more important things.
Time is a scarce resource, even more scarce than Bitcoin.
The important thing is that he is fine!

If he's not active as regular then it's assumed that he is cooking something big out there to come back or maybe he might be busy in real life as I believe everyone has their personal problems to face including you and I. If I have important thing to sort out there I wouldn't be that active relating them here than handling them before coming back online to continue every other activities I might seems to hold here. I just hope he is fine out there.

I am also concerned about this. There is no fun any more. Three and a half months without merit spree?

It's a shame because it's not just that, he doesn't write as much, he doesn't give as many merits, he's not as active on the forum anymore. On the bright side, he maintains a certain amount of activity, because others just disappear and we don't hear from them anymore.

I am pretty confident about how he does it.
But this is far beyond the scope of this thread.
And I don't want to spoil the fund of everyone indulging in very boring technical stuff on hot to GET merit sent to the right post.
If you want to know more, try summoning @DdmrDdmr on this thread and explaining how he performs his magic.

Have also been wondering how he does it, though have no power to question about his spree. But just to get good post on the pipeline, as you said didn't you think he already selected post to spree maybe who knows and i don't know how he does that.

Don’t worry.
The old Spanish bull is still fighting in the plaza, and he will soon be back with a gargantuan merits spree.

However, this is a semi-serious post, so we are not here to question his mediating habits but to rejoice in his generosity!

fillippone - this thread has been inactive for a while - has DdmrDdmr changed his Merit Spree habits over time?
This thread was last active on July 22, 2024, 04:49:09 PM - mainly because of your reply post. Based on my search of DdmrDdmr profile - he last did it on June 09, 2024 between 05:12:27 PM and 05:33:39 PM - after that his merit posting activity went back to normal like most other merit source.

I miss him and hope he doesn't forget to scratch some of my posts with some of his merit - LOL.

According to the total merits per pair of TICK-TOCK sprees, this is the new (lower) record since its inception, beating the already small number of last month.

I can definitely say that @ddmrddmr has become more efficient at distributing merits in the traditional way, so his "automated" runs are becoming smaller and smaller.

Being a single merits spree, numbers are lower: 3 merits to top the chart and 2 to enter the TOP10.
Paid2 for once is not even in the top10, which is topped by Teymos, cyan and Adiljutt156.
 
I will start getting merit statistics for a single merits spree! So 11 merits are the highest on record for a single merits spree! (merit spree 44!), and these 3 merits are the lowest required on the record, together with spree #44, #46 and #48, #51: wen two?

I will work hard to be admitted back into the @ddmrddmr merit spree and be more proactive next time!

We are lied to in a lot of ways including very essential facts that do not add up with actual math and actual science.

Today on Saifedean Ammous's podcast, I was listening to a scientist (Dr. Willie Soon) talk about his frustrations with mainstream science that frequently is not backed up by actual numbers.

I just assume the final dentist is there to maintain balance and heep the companies on their toes to keep improving. Then when I overthink it, I think it's a gimmick; they expect the public to call their bluff if they say all dentists recommend it, so they say 9 out of 10, which has a ring to it.

You are right.  I am probably not remembering very well..

And here is a funny variation of the commercial from 2006.. and in that commercial they are saying 4 out of 5 dentists... so that 4 out of 5 might have had been the historical claim of the commercial... another funny thing is that it is a compromise position between the two of us.

That would be just a small percentage of the forum, cause in my observation, legendary members gets a higher percentage of merits even though they make up the lowest number by ranks.

That's right. Some Legendaries may no longer maintain their quality because merit no longer matters to them. I have a different mindset, I care about the merit system and I want to contribute to many users (especially to my local board users) and help them rank up. That's why I try my best to maintain my quality and contribution even though lately I lack the sMerit to help them much.

Some users have a strange mindset in my opinion. They rarely send merit to Legendary because they think Legendary doesn't need merit. I often remind my local board users about this and I expect them to send merit to anyone regardless of rank and of course on quality posts.

I generally thought that after hitting legendary rank one would stop checking or getting excited when they receive a merit, but that's not the case at all, at least not for me. It also helps that it allows one merit others.

I thought it was 9 out of 10?
