Mine was likely the quickest meriting streak in an hour, although if we consider a 24 hour period (contemplating 24 UTC hours in a single day, but not trying out overlapping 24 hour periods on two consecutive days), we get (Top 20):
Code:

To be fair, @qwk takes the lead in a 24 hour period.

If we look at it from who merited most people in a single second, @LoyceV ruled until @Theymos came along and sent 15 negative TXs from the forum account.

You have to increase the font size of “source” link. I didn’t notice it and had to google the thing to take the bait!!
I realised you put that only when replying!

Oh. I think this is a nice move for admin so as newbie and other low rank will be encourage to invest and learn more about bitcoin. The rank is one of the factor that will satisfy the users joining the forum.and this could be one reason for a user to do more research and even will going to invest on bitcoin and we will all have a good market for.cryprocurrency. LOL. Just a a little.optimistic here.

...snip...

Last year, there was a similar thread for nullius I think. Not just to praise him, but he was a perfect example of how a guy should be in a public forum!  He was not only the fastest merit receiver, but was the most knowledgeable member this forum has ever seen, the perfect English speaking nerd and what not. Some of the newcomers would have never known about him, but I urge everyone to look into his post history not just to know how to receive merits, but to educate yourself on various topics.

During the early times of merit introduction in this forum, there weren't enough merit sources and inspite of that he managed to receive 700+ merits. Each of his posts deserves at least 20+ merits and if he was active till now, he should have surpassed the merits of theymos easily. People even went to the extent of doxxing him due to his insane popularity. He didn't stick to just one board but had a wide range of knowledge ranging from cryptography to Politics. He was the only guy who used segvan bitcoin address in the whole community and has even developed a tool to generate one. Some people even today believe that he was a rebirth of satoshi  Tongue

So that I quickly escalated to his own tool:
DdmrDdmr sent merits on Feb 3rd
… and here do I discover a possibility of Tableau Public which I was not aware of: being able to share a specific filtered view (I’ve though it was specific to Tableau Server or Tableau Online, although they have other means to do it). That kind of makes me merit the OP, although it may not look too good, and seem weak with the merit trigger in response for praise. The praise I do leave aside though, and focus on the additional perk that could come in useful in a broader context than just my own.

I was aware of the risk, that’s why I posted the label [FUN] to the post: it wasn’t merit praising honestly, but just unproductive way to spend my time.

Regarding the sharing options I wasn’t obviously aware of it, but after preparing the image for the post I noticed in it the universal “share” symbol, I tested It and worked as expected, so I used it.

While I’m at it, I might as well respond:

I rushed it a bit more between 14:28 ..15:30 UTC really: 250 awarded sMerits in those 62 minutes. I really wanted to empty my personal sMerit bag that day in a though out manner.

I had a few tricks up my sleeve to be pretty swift at the task, being one of the primal ones to put household inhabitants on ignore during that timeframe.

Nope (that does not stand for "no dope") to all three.

Edit: It seems this may lead to confusion. Never touched drugs. Nearest approximations would be coke (coca-cola variant), and ibuprofen as an appetizer for long days on the computer.

Are you just noticing the DdmrDdmr account? To understand better you need dig deeper because his merit history won't tell you much, click on his post history and observe his posting style (pattern). You'll be amaze how identical they look but yet with different meaning and always on topic. The account is definitely been operated by an AI  lol Grin

It's impressive how computers and the internet can be addictive. Many users spend many hours a day here, making incredible contributions to the community. Ddmr is one of them of course.

I believe this should be in reputation board.

Yes, he's an illegitimate offspring of LoyceV and John Connor.

And this thread is just an excuse to fool us of course: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/215-posts-merited-by-me-in-just-over-3-minutes-whats-got-over-me-v-440-5105622

He must be a crazy creature then.

And no,sorry, I was totally unaware of THAT thread, otherwise I wouldn’t have crafted THIS thread: even if it was a good fun, it was way less entertaining than reading THAT thread.

Is that why I tried to have him nuked when he was a newbie? I can't find the link on mobile.

I got recently merited by @DdmrDdmr.
So out of curiosity I clicked on his profile and saw his sent merit summary...I scrolled down a little bit and I saw this:

Dear lord is this in the realm of human capabilities?

I couldn’t even fit all the merits on a single page of my iPad.

So that I quickly escalated to his own tool:

DdmrDdmr sent merits on Feb 3rd

That’s 257 sent merits from February 03, 2019, 02:28:01 PM to February 03, 2019, 04:47:30 PM.
257 sMerits in 140 minutes.
