Although achieving the new rank isn't so important for some people, it means a lot to me. I know a new rank may not reflect the improvement of my knowledge, but I want to use this as the momentum to be even better and do more contributions.

I'd like to point out one thing I noticed, though. In some of your posts, your grammar needs improvement in terms of consistency. It may be an expression issue resulting in a non-coherent sentence, which I understand if English is not your first language. It's perfectly okay. I'm only here to suggest you use Grammarly or LanguageTool, both great tools that helped me review my posts before submitting them.

You are right, I will soon reach a new rank which is now less than 20 merit. I might have to be patient enough to keep trying my best and not think too much about how much time it will take me to rank up, I'm sure everything will rank up naturally in time especially when we want to post something useful.

looks like you are wrong in perception related to rank.
make your quality post, then you will get merit to increase your rank. not the other way around, you wait for your ranking to go up to make quality posts.

my advice, avoid the bounty board first if you want to rank up faster. the bounty board will only trap you as a newbie forever.

That's right, if it can be done now, why do you have to wait until the Member rank to give a good post. Obviously this has no relation at all, anyone will try their best to reach the new rank.
I've also reviewed @Shaha98's post, with a heavy heart I must say there's nothing of value there.

Good advice, hope @Shaha98 reads this advice and can be adopted to make some quality posts so as not to get stuck in the Newbie rank.

The next rank after newbie is junior member not member rank so technically you don't need 10 merits to get to your next rank you need just 1 merit to rank.
I see no reason why you'd announce your merit countdown when you don't even have enough activity to rank up, you might even be surprised that before you reaching the required activity to rank up you might have received more than enough merit. It all depend on how you post.
