I think that the same dependence of other coins on bitcoin is still there, though not direct, but rather indirect, but still. I think this is due to the General decline in the cost of both bitcoin and other coins
It seems to me that dependence on Bitcoin of all crypto currency is already visible to the naked eye. Just Look so the price of Bitcoin fluctuates in the market and How the whole market reacts to these price fluctuations.

As of right now, Where bitcoin gos all alts will go.
The time altcoins will survive on there own is still a long road ahead.
If bitcoin dont manage to get the adoption it needs to survive i doubt any alt could hold it out.

to be honest,I don't understand why there is so much positive news in the market and it is not growing?, a lot of positive news but there is no growth...
bitcoin is the most trusted coin. whatever happens to bitcoin, is likely to have an effect on altcoin.

Anyhow positive news hasn't really affected everyone across the country in terms of believing it/convincing, it still takes into consideration many things related to fraud, risk as well as characteristics.
Bitcoin will be prioritized if it grows better and more gained the support and trust of many countries. Bitcoin is like a parent and it seems that it is destiny that brought other coins to become popular. But did not rule out some later altcoins will be more prominent that could have competed with bitcoin/past the mother.
if you step aside from these poetic compliments to Bitcoin, then how do you see the existence of Bitcoin in the future? How do you see the use of Bitcoin in the community? If we talk about the etherium, then everything is clear with it, but Bitcoin does not have such a potential as other coins.
to date, the entire demand for Bitcoin is explained only by the fact that many users want to increase their fortunes Thanks to this coin. No one has yet given such an opportunity to increase several times their investments for such a short time. One can only recall 2017 and understand the scope of Bitcoin's possibilities.

Hello!

With the recent decrease in value of Bitcoin, the value of almost all the altcoins dropped too.
Now BTC is rising again and so are the altcoins.

I am thinking that if Bitcoin ever crashes, I mean completely drops to a very low value and when doesn't increase anymore.
Then the altcoins are going to drop too and won't have a high value anymore too, which means the cryptocurrency world will die.

Is my statement just nonsense or can it be correct?

I'm curious of what you all think will happen to the altcoins if BTC crashes for real.
If bitcoin will crash I think altcoin will find ways to survive and to continue in crypto. But I think if bitcoin will crash it will bug effect in crypto market  and I'm worried that all coins will be down. That's why we need to enjoy and grab the opportunity now until bitcoin is there and have a value and also give to us a good profit.

Friends, Bitcoin will not crash at present. At least until 2020. Once Bitcoin crashes, you can rest assured. The entire cryptocurrency will exit the human history stage. So no if. Because if it hurts many of us.

Altcoins can easily beat bitcoin. People nowadays look for a better privacy coin that has stealth addresses.

Better to invest on this privacy coin while the value is not yet rising.

It is more than true that without bitcoins we are not going to see a lot of altcoins in here, most of them are going to disappear because the FUD in here would be incredibly huge, that's why.

We need to realize that Bitcoin's a pioneer, they create a crypto industry with clear leadership. So, in outline any cryptocurrency is sustained by the popularity of bitcoin. This means that they've got a natural connection with bitcoin. But along with the development that exists as literal fact in the minds of some people, that each cryptocurrency has a community that can raise their own coins. On this basis I dare to say that the future of altcoin will continue without bitcoin.

Can not imagine what if altcoin without Bitcoin, like a chicken without a mother. But in my opinion all will be back setabil, altcoin and Bitcoin will always coexist until later in the future.
I think it is impossible, many people know bitcoin more than all cryptocurrency, without bitcoin there may be no development of cryptocurrency. imagine if bitcoin die, we know how big bitcoin influence to market of altcoin, if bitcoin price drop all crypto will also experience the same thing. imagine if bitcoin die, of course crypto market will be destroyed because bitcoin is a picture for whole crypto..

The majority of altcoins follow Bitcoins prices and adjust but the mechanism is a puzzle to me, maybe the majority of altcoin holders use bitcoin as a benchmark and sell out of panik or buy out of fomo.

That is true most of the time lately, we can see an identical pattern along Bitcoin and the majority of altcoins. Now we cannot say fully that it only depends with Bitcoin as these currencies are created with different purpose. Now with your speculation, It may or may not happen. The market might fall if Bitcoin crashes or another Altcoin may raise.

this is only temporary bro ,, i say that your statement is nonsense. I still believe that the bitcoin and other altcoins will grow and develop well again. I have analyzed and studied the development of bitcoin.
I know this is only temporary.
And I really believe that Bitcoin will reach $ 20000 again soon and will rise even higher in the future.

But when it crashes in 2, 5 or 15? years, then maybe the altcoins will die too.
Because they seem to move together with the way BTC goes up and down.

Can you tell me how you analized and studied the development Bitcoin? What's your conclusion?

Thanks!
The future altcoins is still survive even without bitcoin cos they are lot arround, but i think bitcoin will not gone because it made his own foundation already by the way we will not panic cos this not gonna happen bitcoin will up again soon.

In the world of cryptocurrency no words are impossible, everything you talk about can happen, because everything related to the world of cryptocurency is very likely to happen ..
We cannot change what the datas happen if it drops low i think it rise up again so as bitcoiners we expected it that this gonna happen so keep on pushing and never surrender.

At the moment all alts are very strongly tied to bitcoin. But many analysts say that soon alternative coins will untie from bitcoin. Perhaps this will make them more stable. But I'm not sure that it will be the positive moment for the whole market at all.

tied to bitcoins? No they are not tied to bitcoins or any other coins because altcoins do also have their own system that is totally different from bitcoins blockchain .

Have you notice that when you check out altcoins price on most online exchanges , they are usually based on the value of eth and usd.

Thoug i rarely see exchange that measure the value of alts into btc.

Altcoins will still have a good future because altcoins were also useful and there are lots of good alts nowadays which is way more better than bitcoins.
