True, and what is more appropriate in my opinion is to gamble with the aim of fun by minimizing or not putting too much effort into getting a win, after all gambling is a probability activity that only provides "possibilities", meaning there is no certainty whatsoever to actually be able to materialize according to your wishes, and therefore a healthy approach to gambling is when you make it an activity with the aim and priority for entertainment but when you are lucky and win then it is a decision that does not hurt to cash out.

It is true that I also recognize and see that most people always try to make gambling a place to earn or even to change their financial fortunes or make it a solution to financial problems such as paying off debts, honestly this is a worrying mindset because of course with such a mindset and goals in the end will actually make them experience a much worse situation, such as in terms of debt, instead of being able to pay debts but what happens is that they are even more in debt, and this is what will happen when you have the wrong understanding of gambling.

I don't know statistics well but to my mind, gambling should be a better way of entertainment for elder generation instead of video games because it's a new thing for them and many people over 40 don't and haven't even played a video games frequently but casino games have been popular all the time because it didn't require any internet or electricity and smart equipment back then. So, for some people, it might be a better way of entertainment than video games.
Well, it's hard to say whether it's some people purely gamble for fun or for profit. I can say that I sometimes gamble for fun but sure, I expect profit, although, it's not my priority because I understand what I am doing and what can be the result, so, I don't wanna ruin my life.

      That's how I feel sometimes when I gamble in the casino. There are also times when I would be lucky enough to win, but usually I'm just passing the time, and I only have an amount of money set aside for gambling and I don't exceed my gambling amount.

It is hard to change people's mind if it's about gambling. Those that have been believing that it's a way to make money but they don't gamble at all, it's like you're arguing to a kid over a cotton candy and that kid won't allow you to win the argument. If someone wants to have fun, for sure that it's not just all about having fun but also making him/her some money as they gamble. Nobody wants to go home with nothing as they gamble and that's how our minds are being tricked when we're losing. We think that we can go over for more games and survive another set of disasters of losing. But in the end, the chance of losing is higher than ever so regardless of everyone's reason, as long as you're not giving hassle to somebody, you're not taking loans to gamble, you're not selling stuff and not doing anything stupid just for you to gamble, I think that's the most important thing to remember here.

I don't disagree that they are some gamblers like that but I still think that a large portion of Persons in the world that gamble are actually focused on some incentives attached to the fun way of gambling and that's why I believe the particular folks that gamble and lose crazy and still take it to be means of enjoyment for them are the filthy rich guys and one perfect example is the famous rap artist DRAKE, he renowned for his wild stakes on soccer and other different sports but you may ask why do all this when obviously you have the funds but the answers would be for fun I guess.

There are gamblers who gamble for fun, they don't really care about the profit or loss it is their way to enjoy their time.
I think it is their way to have excitement or thrill while playing, we should know that playing without a risk to past time are boring, and we wouldn't take the game seriously if there is no risk.

But many gamblers are taking it as a place of investment and, many gamblers have lost millions of dollars in gambling hoping that, it's the amount of money you put in gambling that will determine your win and, it has lead many to be addicted because gambling is made for fun which is the reason some gamblers are still in the gambling today without be addicted to gambling.

 I like gambling as fun and, any day I will not gamble it will make me feel as if something is missing in my dressing until I gamble before my real mood will come to normal and my daily budget for gambling is $5 and there is nothing that will make me gamble above that amount whether winning or loosing which is my principle in gambling.

On a general opinion, you're both right and e can however concluded that when we are gambling, we are making a form of any entertainment whether we are that interested in making money from it or not, but the chances is either we win or loose while gambling, so it's very simple to me if you ask me, i will tell that you're paying for the entertainment received from a gambling casino each time you're gambling and this applies to the same way you can pay for any form of an entertainment without the expectation of getting your money back, whlle gambling gives more opportunity that we can earn from it while doing same.

Fun alone is like a escape from reality, it's like gamblers who don't want to keep gambling but only have to lie to themselves that they are getting fun from gambling, the little times that I get fun from gambling is when I have nothing else to do than to challenge myself or my lucky star, just to see if luck is really on my side of such day.

Well you won't and can't blame anyone for thinking such and that's because the emphasis of the said point can be really confusing especially if the person is a newbie because I believe whether we like it or not the mass public actually believe that gambling is actually a way to earn some cash be it planned or by luck or a better explanation and expatiation on the idea would really go a long way.

 I don't think gambling is for fun in any day but gambling is to make money but in the process of gambling you can have the fun because of the way the game might came and the interest of the game and the participation with others in the game that might lead to the fun perspective. If someone is going to play game, then the person will have fun but if the person is going to play gamble then fun is eradicated. And if some gamble and loss the game then there will be no fun with the loss. And a responsible Gambler must know his limit in the gambling industry and foe those who are not careful with their gambling always gamble all and go home with crying or empty hands. Gamble what you can afford to lose and not to cry.

You must understand what is meant by "advertising" or "promotion" where their goal is to lure many players to play at their casino sites, and about multiplying money actually it is nothing more than a phrase to make people "tempted".

Only careless or even stupid people who don't look at things from different sides with a rational point of view will just get stuck with the phrase "double up", because you should put a big question mark in your mind about what exactly is behind gambling besides the chance of multiplying, and if you are able to think rationally then I am sure you will know the real facts.
