I see many coins around. Even a year ago there were some casinos accepting litecoin and dogecoin. As bitcoin is now really expensive and slow plus some people are afraid of tomorrow's segwit thing, I thought it would be interesting enough to create a poll and see how many people still gamble with bitcoin and are there many fans of other coins. Nowadays the range is really wide, so we have what to choose from What do you think?

Based on the poll, people are still choosing Bitcoin for obvious reason, for liquidity and profit, they know that Bitcoin is the highest performing coin in the market, and they are gambling to win more Bitcoin to hodl it for a future bull run, it's like hitting two birds with one stone.

Offering more altcoins will for sure enlarge userbase of crypto casino. I agree that bitcoin still dominates in crypto gambling but situation may change in the nearest future.

Once the Bitcoin transaction fee goes up, deposits in altcoin will become more and more attractive for the gamblers. But then, the gambling sites need to tweak their websites and create all the hot-wallets, which is going to take a lot of time and effort, on top of additional expenses. The casino has to decide whether this additional effort is worth it or not.

I don't think Bitcoin transactions will go up without the price of Bitcoin going up too. It is not that the transactions fees are the only one changing, if the fees changes, the price will too. The higher the price, the higher the fee so I don't think it will change for gamblers. Even with the current transaction fees, gamblers are still continuing to use it, so I don't think it will matter. Gamblers will use anything they want as long as they can gamble.

Casinos would do anything for the best of their clients and that includes spending their time and effort to work on accepting altcoin deposits. Bitcoin fees are a problem for both customers and casino owners and it's in advantage of both o them if a casino has altcoin deposit methods available because transactions can be processed much faster with a lower fee.
Yes that's the reason for altcoins and gambling sites will certainly provide the best service so that customers have many alternatives to make deposits in many altcoins, bitcoin will indeed remain the main for developers but on the one hand there are gambling sites that only provide altcoins on their platform this of course they will glance at the transaction fees that make everyone have different choices.

I personally try to only use dogecoin for gambling as for me gambling is something I get enjoyment out of, not just to make huge profits, so using dodge coin just lets it last longer since the coin itself is worth so little. You also get the thrill of hitting insane multipliers without feeling bad if you dont hit it. and if you walk away with profit at the end of the day then hell yeah.
We have mutual feeling about it, I don't feel bad also when I don't hit those high multipliers whenever I gamble with doge and other altcoins.

There's something that I just can't feel with that because it seems to be okay to gamble with that and I thought I'm the only person that feels that.

Nah a lot of people have that mindset. don't get me wrong im sure we would all love to bet away ETH or BTC in the hopes of making a profit but not all of us can financially support that, so we use the lower Altcoins and just enjoy the experience of it. you also have the fact that a lot of coin casinos do giveaways in the chat every 10 mins or so so you can take part and sometimes make a pretty penny, win-win imo.
Those rains yeah, and if that altcoin came from that we are okay to gamble with it until it dries  out.

There are new coins coming up created for gambling alone like Eos, but the majority of the gambling sites still prefer to use Bitcoin and other top coins in the market, because of the liquidity factor, but I agree that gambling sites should offer more altcoins to use by their players according to  their preferences and conveniences.
Are those EOS based casino's are also accepting bitcoin? or they are solely created just to accept EOS?

Eos has not enough support and userbase behind it in order to become a major player in crypto gambling although it is created exactly to do that. The reason crypto casino stick with bitcoin is because it has the largest userbase and many new people are introduced to it daily. This will not change easily.

That's correct as no gambler would allow themselves to pay a high transaction fee every time they send bitcoin to a certain gambling sites.
If there is an option where they can trade their altcoins to bitcoin, they would surely take advantage on it.
Maybe they just need to be aware that things like this is possible, and it's very helpful to gamblers like us.

^ that was the advantage there when you are going to use Bitcoin in gambling
Where you can bet 1 sat it makes not a real difference with a altcoin when the minimal bet with a alt is pegged to btc or set at a higher minimal then 1sat.

^ that was the advantage there when you are going to use Bitcoin in gambling, the price is expensive in Bitcoin and for sure it will be doubled your capital once you have won. Although Altcoins are good too I also prefer to use Bitcoin during in my gambling because doesn't need to trade other coins when I am going to convert fiat(dollars). Well, our choices will depend on us which we are comfortable to use in gambling even how much the fee if you are willing to gamble you can deposit even the fees are quite high.

It depends upon individual liking and disliking, if he is willing to play with btc even in the times of increased bitcoin prices. Although if the bitcoin price is increased, you will risk more money in gambling with same amount of btc which also mean that in case you win, you will be awarded more.

Yes, you are right completely depending upon the altcoin we choose because most of the people will choose to gamble with BTC only because they might make a higher amount if the won the gambling, but with the recent increase price of the Bitcoin makes many people to start gambling with other altcoins where the transaction fee of those coins will be low.

I never tried with altcoins because I do not feel that is much convinient like bitcoin.

Maybe you should try so you will compare gambling with bitcoin and altcoins.
When it comes to convenience, altcoins is better for me as the transaction fee is very cheap, but choose only those alts with liquidity.
It's easy to convert it into bitcoin if you really need to cash out and enjoy your winning, but that up to you, but I suggest you try and be amaze.

I never tried with altcoins because I do not feel that is much convinient like bitcoin. May be we can consider etherem next to BTC for gambling or any purposes. Other tradable altcoins not worth to use in gambling sites.
But I have noticed some of the casino sites like stake and all having altcoins also to gamble at there.
Well i think you must try something new innovations in gambling games especially related with cryptocurrencies gambling games website because it is good information for all of community of cryptocurrencies, you can try decentralize application dapps on cryptocurrencies blockchain such as eosbet or 888tron and they are alternatives coins gambling games website.

that's why dogecoin created for it lol . it remind me with one of my favourite gambling site. Directbet, that's my favourite gambling site. we can gamble with doge and other alt. but these site has been closed Angry and until now i can't find other site like directbet

I never really played or even knew about directbet but i could recommend a site called casino royale if you havent heard of it already, im not affiliated with it, i just genuinely think its a really good site, nice active chat with plenty of chat games and more than enough altcoins and a pretty generous faucet.

The transaction fee has increased by anywhere from 10x to 15x during the last two weeks. So in case you are planning to make small bets, such as BTC0.005 or BTC0.010, then making the deposits using Bitcoin may prove a bit expensive. Transaction fee for BCH and gas prices for ETH have remained more or less stable at the same time.
