Untill 1.2.2 works fine. 1.2.3 start to give BSOD in start.

I see. GSS'es internals changed quite a bit with v1.2.3 and they are much more efficient than before.
Ironically, that makes GGS less tolerant of overclocking and memory timing mods.

I think that these kernels must be built for each card individually to achieve best results, because of different systems/drivers/memory timings/etc. That's why on one of my cards maximum speed can be reached only after several launches. But without binary kernel file, speed allways achieves maximum, but slow starting.
Maybe better make building binary kernels at 1st start on client machine? Like it was in Gateless gate?

Nah, it really doesn't work that way. It is generally preferable to ship the miner with binaries because you would never be sure that the user's driver would always produce better binaries.

Gateless Gate Sharp 1.2.3 alpha
https://github.com/zawawawa/GatelessGateSharp/releases/tag/v1.2.3-alpha

* Reorganized CPU threads for efficiency.
* Added charts for relevant statistics.
* Added features for managing user settings.
* Made user interface more responsive.

The new version should be pretty useful. Enjoy!
Start to give BSOD Thread_stuck_in_device_driver. Lowering overclock didn't helped.
Several seconds after pressing "Start" and BSOD...
1.2.2 works normal... Rolling back...

It could well be modded BIOS'es... Especially with NeoScrypt.
No, it's cryptonight. All previous versions works with the settings taken from previous version.
Untill 1.2.2 works fine. 1.2.3 start to give BSOD in start. I tried to lower overclock settings, but it didn't helped.
Returned to 1.2.2 and with these settings GGS work again...
In morning I haven't much time. After my work I try to rise voltage on 1st GPU, maybe statistic charts increase 1st GPU load...

Another one question: how you make binary kernels? I think that these kernels must be built for each card individually to achieve best results, because of different systems/drivers/memory timings/etc. That's why on one of my cards maximum speed can be reached only after several launches. Thank you for new miner. Alternatives is good instead  of 1-2 miner programme. I will try and give feedbacks at weekend.
Also if you develop a version for gtx cards, I will be  happier Smiley
Thanks for develop.

Known Issues
The GPU Workload feature may cause a system hang when switching to Compute while AMD CrossFire is enabled. A workaround is to disable AMD CrossFire before switching the toggle to Compute workloads.

Grrrr.....
If I remember right, that bug is in all versions starting from 17.11 version... After they make choise of Workload....

About 18.1.1 version - cryptonight GGS kernels works different way on new driver... Best way to see that is on the start of GGS - now speed jumps with other numbers... In 17.12.2 speed in the beginning was smaller and than jump to higher volumes... In 18.1.1 speed at first jumps to higher volume and than drops to lower... And not every launch speed after drop returns to max... All this on RX 580 8Gb. Maybe it's only on my cards... I'm testing timings changes through bios modding...

And it's need to check - is GGS changes voltages on 18.1.1 driver... Temperatures of my 2nd card rose a few degrees...

EDIT: Find a bug - voltage settings works on 1st card. Voltage of 2nd card became same as on 1st independently of voltage settings for 2nd card. Thats why temperature of my 2nd card grew. I use voltages for 2nd card lower than on 1st, but with 18.1.1 it's the same...

That means I will have to do voltage control myself, then. Oh well.

Adrenalin 18.1.1 seems very stable so far. The GPU order problem is gone, too!
I will make this the next recommended driver if the miner passes all the tests.

If you're mining and you've got CrossFire enabled, the system should hang YOU.

You are absolutely right. This glitch is not desirable at all from a UI point of view at all, though...

Installed 18.1.1 driver. Looks like it became more stable... Works better... Like 17.11.4 on 1st look.

Just when I prepared the final build for the next version. lol
Thanks a lot for letting me know, though. I will test it against the new driver.

Hi I have  (2) GTX 1060 6gb and (2) Gigabyte RX570 4GB with RX580 4gb FW flashed on them in the same system. I am using GGS 1.22 and Neoscrpyt for Gobyte, but the hashrate for the gtx 1060 is low ( 260-300khs) and the RX 570's fluctuate madly (36-800khs) constantly. I was able to get 650 khs per card using win 7 and  ccminer, i need help getting GGS 1.22 stable for mining. Any thoughts on settings?

My general advice is to not mix AMD and NVIDIA in any mining rigs.
Also, my NeoScrypt kernel doesn't work well at all with NVIDIA cards at the moment.
(I have a feeling that I have to have two different kernels for NVIDIA and AMD.)
I would disconnect 1060's and see how that goes first.

Ok trying mining with AMD only, works but still fluctuates. I set work size down to 64 and intensity to 16, which seems to make it more stable but still low. I get about 400khs to 600 khs per card, win 10, 8 GB or ram 48 GB page file, Intel Celeron G3930 Kaby Lake Dual-Core 2.9 GHz, Biostar TBC BTC+( 12 pcie 1x slots). Also how can i get 1.22 more stabel? it will run for a few hours then crash and restart. Using Ethos and either claymore or ccminer it can run for hours with no crashes.

Also i flashed the RX570s back to the stock bios, no overclock or undervolt.

Try 4/64 for intensity/local work size. GGS's NeoScrypt kernel is probably the most compute-intense kernel out there, so your hardware must be really solid.

hi

i had again the loose of config when reboot :/ vers 1.2.2  i have 3 files on appdata/ggs

dont understand :/

edit:at starup,he is lonnnnnnnnnng....same at stop :/  not in previous vers

The next version will allow you to create multiple backups of user settings and to share them with other rigs.
Also, the app is much more responsive.
I had to do yet another massive rewrite, and I am wrapping it up now.
Hopefully I will upload the next version today. We will see...

I'm having a bit of an issue... Just tried Gateless Gate Sharp (latest version) on my 7xRX570 rig, specified overclocks (core, mem and voltage) but it isn't having any of it (it keeps the values previously set in Claymore). Is that because of the buggy Aug23 blockchain driver?
GGS sets overclock/undervoltage only during it's work. After closing GGS it returns OC settings back to that was berfore running GGS.
If OC settings didn't work for your cards, update driver to 17.12.2 - latest versions of GGS designed for work with 17.12.2 drivers.

download overdriveNtool, click reset all and apply on every gpu
that should fix it

Hello zawawa,
thanks for your work and time.

Are you going to add Trezarcoin in your tool?
thanls
Trezarcoin mines through neoscrypt algoritm. GGS support neoscrypt algo mining. Just setup your pool via custom pool in GGS to mine trezarcoin selecting neoscrypt algo.

oh yes you're right.
sorry i ve checked that feature late in the night, that's got me very confused.

Thx!!
