Is there any way to disable CrossFire and Enable Compute without AMD Settings (doesn't work on my RIG, just black screen)?

Zawawa, I need some help please... I'm in a bit of a pickle. I tried to run Gatelessgate Sharp (v1.2.2) on my RX570 rig... But it crashes upon loading the kernels. Unfortunately I had already managed to set the miner to auto-start mining so I'm completely unable to restore it to its default version. I'm running it directly from the folder too (didn't use the installer) so I can't even uninstall it in any way.

How can I restore the miner to default without running it?
For this situations GGS have solution - holding SHIFT key during loading GGS. This disable auto-start for this time. And all settings keeps...

happened the same to me, but on 1.2.4 worked fine.  To reset miner settings goto %AppData%\GatelessGateSharp and delete GatelessGateSharp.sqllite file.

Ah thanks, that worked!

latest version working great. I don't know if other people has requested this, but it would be nice to have more than 4 custom pools.

im using 18.1.1 still everything mixed up Cheesy, but fuck it...its just a minor issue

Oh, AMD engineers didn't really fix the problem, then.
I don't know what's so hard about it to get right. *sigh*

yep i would like to know too what they are doing...like hbcc(or compute mode) for cryptonight on 17.10.2 drivers and later its simply not working...for other algos it works.
its now 4 months that you only can use blockchain driver to get full speed with vega on crytponight -.-
would be awesome if you could fix this...i dont know if its the same, but the castxmr developer made an "on the fly" compute mode enable for polaris gpus

Hey Zawawa !

First of all thanks for supporting miners with this promising multiminer app.

I have an issue with one of my rig, there is 5 GPU , all of them RX 480, but they are a bit different, like 3x MSI RX 480 8g + 2x XFX RX 480 8g.
They working on different clockrate ( MSI 1303 , XFX 1288 ) , its wasnt a problem before, but if i start mining with your miner  , after few sec , when building gpu kernel, its crashing.
The other rigs , where similar GPU's,  working without problem.
Any idea?

Ty,
Dru

Have you tried Adrenalin 18.1.1? With this driver, the miner skips the workaround for the GPU order problem, so it might actually work.

sorry man did i missed something? i never noticed gpu order was working on ggs Cheesy - not meaned to be evil, just a notice
all my gpus are still mixed up

I would love to see the output of clinfo.

This problem has already been fixed in Adrenalin 18.1.1.
There are just too many cards for the workaround to function properly, I guess.

What is the location of the settings file? Since when I uninstall the software, and try to make a clean install... The new installation has the old settings and keeps on crashing, can't do anything. Software also has to be killed in powershell. :S

%AppData%\GatelessGateSharp
Please, make it selectable. GGS makes many writes to drive. It's may be bad for SSD.

Hey Zawawa long time since I visited, If you can get a comandline version out with sgminer style API I would love to include it instead of the old GatelessGate in my zpoolMiner which is a modified version of the nicehashminer legcy.

First of all, sorry for my english.
Zawawa, hello, your miner is great at all. But there is one bug with autorestart of the miner - it is watching at the videocards, and when one of them is hashing at 0 h/s for ~ a minute, it restarts the miner (1 minute is too low, too fast reaction).
!!!My problem:
My system have 13 videocards and it's initialization takes a lot of time, more than 1 minute, and when the miner switches to the devfee, it restarts earlier than all my cards have been initializated (because it thinks that one card is hanged - my 13th card shows 0 h/s during the minute, because it is in the queue yet). So the miner restarts every 15 minutes, and it is very sad for me.
Can you, please, help me? I can't find setting, that will adjust the timeout when miner will think that the card is hanged.

The timeout will be 3 minutes in the next version. No worries.
