GAW Fury Hash update:

AVG: 40 watts and puts out the heat.

1.3mh/s

Using cgminer windows build from GAW site. Uptime about 1 1/2hr

Code:
cgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://emd.dutchpool.org:3333 -u ___TR___.3 -p 1 --nocheck-golden --chips-count 6 --ltc-clk 328 -S //./COM4
pause

You mean it runs hot? It disperses heat well? Or it heats up the room? Curious cause I have one on the way as well.

Hi guys I complete my set up with cgminer windows, but...... i think its strange i try to mining couple pools givemecoin , cex.io and bla bla bla, only clevermining.com acsepting my miner)))) Do you have idea why? Thanks again for Valder.
P.S. my hash rate about 1.322 MH/s
No idea on that one bud. Did you give it enough time to start hashing before changing pools?

Guys, I just had a genius idea. What if...  we open up a C2C Support Desk. Customers ask questions. Customers answer questions. Rami sits in his chair and smiles.  Grin
Let me expand on this idea...

Best case:
Maybe you could reward customers who answer questions and lighten your support load with BTC rewards based on performance (maybe per resolved issue).

Or...

Worst case:
Offer a C2C Support Desk with user paid bounty system. Users could pay a BTC bounty (they set the price) and pay the reward into escrow, then when they choose a an answer the winner is awarded the bounty.

Anyone that has received their Black Widow, can you post a link to the PSU that you ordered online? Did you really need 4 separate PCI-E power lines?

How do I find the com port of miner?
Windows device manager.

does not show com port number only shows Port_#0004.Hub_#0006

Did you have cgminer with gridseeds running off this machine before and is you miner showing up under ports com and lpt  or somewhere else. Do you remember installing zadig drivers.

Check this thread remember its easier to add these drivers then to remove them so please read. Thanks
http://cryptomining-blog.com/1254-how-to-mine-both-btc-and-ltc-on-gridseed-5-chip-gc3355-asic/

Also remember miners usually prefer usb 2.0 black ports and not blue 3.0 ports

Try replacing the drivers with the lighting asic driver for cpuminer. They will assign a com port. Just a guess I haven't received my miner to test. http://www.diffpair.com/lightningasic/
So do so at ur own risk.

thats fine, what im trying to underline here is the profit margin must be high on the miners, if they can afford to give it as a gift at cost of $69.

Reactor is that you?

Brand new account. Posting every 2 minutes. Constant criticism. The symptoms are all there!

could you please take a minute off your witchunt and answer the question in post 2210

Orders BEFORE May 28th (So May 27th 11:59PM Eastern) are eligible for the ZenController with the Fury.

If you ordered yesterday, you will receive it.

Thank you,

Rami

WOW... I'm über-happy:

So I just got home from work to see the login link doesn't even work on Zen's site. I downloaded the 3.1.1 succesfully on Ubuntu 12.04, but was hoping I could get some help here on how to run the Fury. I am also pretty novice when it comes to all of this. I run my gpu's just by typing ./sgminer/mine.sh, and run my gridseeds by plugging this straight into the terminal...sudo ./cpuminer/minerd --freq=850 --gc3355=/dev/ttyACM0  --url=stratum+tcp://stratum.simpledoge.com:3334 --userpass=xxxxxx.gridseed:x

Could someone help me figure out how to get the fury running and what I have to do now that cgminer3.1.1. is installed. Thanks!

Might need  CP210x USB to UART Bridge Virtual COM Port (VCP) drivers
http://www.silabs.com/products/mcu/pages/usbtouartbridgevcpdrivers.aspx

Already installed

I have windows 8 and there is no listing for com ports in device manager

Go to device manager. If you don't see a COM port listed, you should see something like 'CP2102 USB to UART Bridge Controller' under 'Universal Serial Bus Devices'. This means you need the virtual COM-port driver, wich is at http://www.silabs.com/products/mcu/pages/usbtouartbridgevcpdrivers.aspx

If you still see nothing, unplug en replug the device.

If you have old (Zadig) drivers installed, uninstall them. If you accidentally installed them to get this miner running, right-click the device, choose uninstall, choose úninstall driver.

I uninstalled all old drivers and the re installed them and now hashing away. Getting 1.3mh/s poolside

Thanks to everyone for the help.

That's great to hear!  ...also thanks to everyone who helped out as I'm sure this will probably help others as well.  I'm a Week 2 customer... so learning things now is really helping me!
