Better to have 100 friends than 100 rubles
Things are a bit weird still over on zenminer.  I registered yesterday and it found my controller...  but now I can't get logged in.  If I try and reregister it tells me my userid is taken.  If I try to login via userid or e-mail, it just sits there - no error, no nothing.  Running an activate does fine my controller though!

Outside of not being able to use a usb wifi adapter, the zenminer is up and running for me today.

Beyond basic with the stats given, but it shows my Fury hashing at 1.31MH/s on clevermining. I was up over 1.4MH/s with the clock set to 350 on cgminer so I would assume the zenController sets it at the 'optimal' 328?

If a more detailed status screen, and the ability to use a wifi adapter get put in I'll be happy. Currently, I might have to go back to tossing it on my pc rig (on wifi) or try some other Pi controller. Other than that, the Fury is rocking it!

Glad to hear it! Thanks for sticking it out while we optimized our infrastructure. I'll take note of your suggestion and forwarded it to our developers. If you have any issues, let me know!  [email protected]

How is the ZenContoller going today?

Believe they posted a schedule yesterday.  Everything is suppose to be back up at 11am, but I don't recall which timezone that was in.  I noticed their webpage was at least back up!

Give it a try Smiley

Hey reactor, are things ok with your order? Because you're happily posting here, while maintaining your "possible scam" thread. What's up with that?

My order is in Ohio, well technically en route from Ohio to NJ, meaning it should be delivered today.  So my software is all built, I've got a zenBox with a disturbingly long network cable creatively running through three rooms in case I have any out-of-the-gate issues and need to plug that in, and if history is any lesson DHL will show up between 1-3, possibly knocking so hard as to wake my daughter up from her nap upstairs, and I'll be adding ~1.35M to my little whirring collection of hardware.

Right now I'm focusing on helping community members - hence the Zen thread in my signature.  Not posting in any other threads regarding GAW.  I've got pending questions that are being handled in private.  Thanks.

That's great, so if you're happy with the services and nobody was actually scammed, I'd appreciate if you could close or delete the "possible scam" thread. Thank you. Smiley
it may be better id he instead tells in that thread that his accusations were unfounded and explains that while notwwithout bumps in the road, for the most part everyone is pretty happy
Not a bad idea, I'm ok with both. All companies, even the biggest ones, have some bumps. Think of Windows ME for example, that was one of the reasons people started using the word Microshit Cheesy The thing is to keep it cool and work it out.

I love how the third thing on Google when i type in "Gaw Miners" is a reddit thread with blatent lies from a  paid troller.

Sorry about that. Our legal team is after that today Smiley

I found this topic:
https://gawminers.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/202184744-cgminer-source-and-config?utm_source=Customer+List&utm_campaign=fe44872274-zenminer-server-status&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_610f65bd5c-fe44872274-130325241
but was wondering if there were instructions for Mac OSX?

I'm trying to use zenMiner, but I'm stuck at "Searching for your zenMINER", so thought I would use my Mac for now

I tried this too:
Run "autoreconf -fvi"
Run "CFLAGS="-O2" ./configure"

but don't know what to do after that.  I installed macports and the two commands above seemed to work correctly.
Edit: Tried to do make, but got this:
Code:
util.c: In function ‘__stratum_send’:
util.c:970: error: ‘MSG_NOSIGNAL’ undeclared (first use in this function)
util.c:970: error: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
util.c:970: error: for each function it appears in.)
make[2]: *** [cgminer-util.o] Error 1
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make: *** [all] Error 2

Check at your pool make sure difficulty is set at 128 (possibly 256) at pool side and run miners against there own worker. Gridseeds loved anything under 128 so find the right Difficulty and as always mileage may vary.

So to rehash (heh) this thought...you'd say setting sets of 10 gridseeds at 128 difficulty then?

For people with a War Machine...what difficulty setting would you say is best to use?
The war machine likes higher diff. It works decent with 1024, but I use 4096 or 8192 most of the time for best results.

how do you set such parameters for the hosted miners?
It's a poolside setting for your workers. Most of the newer pools use VARDIFF and they will set the diff for you.

My Fury is hashing away @1.3MHs happily so I turned off my 7990 rig which @.19KWH wasn't really doing anything for me. So happy that I ordered another Fury! Sucks I have to wait a couple of weeks for it but that's OK.

You should go mine x11 or x13 coins with those rigs.

It's not really worth it at this point for that rig. I have some 750 Tis pointed at X11 though.

x13 uses more power than x11 -- just something to think about when looking at profitability.
