To all cloud mining companies:

Very soon we will launch the most profitable miner in the world, by a long shot.

I will bet any cloud mining provider that our new miner (and Hashlet Primes) will remain more profitable then any miner you can offer.

You choose the time frame, 6 months, a year, does not matter to me.

If you a accept my challenge, email me and report here. You all know how to get a hold of me :grinning:

Not sure I understand how this works. What is a "miner"? A $40 Prime is one of the least profitable "cloud miners" if you compare against $40 worth of hash power elsewhere, so apparently he has some specific rules in mind.

How about this: He plans to lose the bet. He takes in 1,000BTC from suckers believing his bullshit, his miners are less profitable and big deal he loses 100BTC.

And why the fuck is he playing big man in-front of his followers? If he had some balls he'd post that everywhere but at HT and have everyone link to it to see.

He's clearly already lost the bet.

His bet states that primes will remain the most profitable and as suchmoon pointed out, they are one of the least profitable miners in terms of ROI.

Here's a bet I'm willing to make: GAW's "new miner" will actually just be a hashlet that can only mine hashcoin/points/whatever they name their shitcoin.

I believe he's referring to the future as in from when the bet is placed. He did edit in (and Hashlet Primes) which I thought was really weird. But for this bet to happen, a price for Primes would have to be chosen as well as the new miner. I'd bet he want's to choose the price of Prime's as $15 or $16 and that's why he edited it in.

I believe HashBase will have an exchange of some type built in to it.

Yes, the hashbase UI screenshot seemed to indicate that. But it doesn't mean it will be available at the time "public" launch, and there is a separate step on the timeline titled "Exchange Launches". In either case dates are unknown except that it's supposed to happen in Q4.

https://i.imgur.com/RREGdr7.jpg

FWIW the screenshot also shows a "daily limit", which may or may not mean anything.

I cannot lie that does look mighty sexy.

I think we can all agree that whoever is designing the UI is doing a great job, same goes for zenminer.

Although I don't see how they could launch hashbase without a built-in exchange. If they did, then wouldn't hashbase just be a mesh of hashtalk and zenminer?

I like it too, really clean looking. They are employing some talented artists. It was the same with their hashlet pictures, although I'd prefer to trade mining shares than hashcoin. Altcoins are not my thing.

I could give two shits about how pretty the colors are. I just want it to work this time around. If they get one thing right and to work properly... it needs to be this.

Given their success with ZenCloud - nice design, horrible coding - I prefer to keep my expectations low this time around. To be honest I don't see how you could pull off a project like that in six weeks (to meet the Q4 deadline) if specs (the white paper) are still being worked on, but I'm old school, what do I know...

Some history of Homero's* past performance:

http://www.topix.com/forum/city/canaan-vt/THJFBNV4MIFIR075C

Not only did GAW leave all their directory listings open, how embarrassing, seems they are also selling the coins in the ICO for $2 and claiming now $100 a coin. That puts the market cap at ~$100billion, so HashCoin will be worth roughly 20x Bitcoin.  Grin

*Homero is Josh's real name incase anyone didn't know.

I lol'ed good. If you'd read the thread you'd realize that it was pulled from an unsecured /dev directory. Thus the image could state $100,000 a coin and it wouldn't make a difference. dev aka development.

Pardon if everyone already knows this, but looks like the public IPO timer is set to 78 days away.

That means anyone who is mining HP has a good 78+ days until they can hope to ever see BTC or USD for their efforts. That is a long time to mine something with nothing to show for it.

http://gawstories.com/dev/HC12345/

The real site hashcoin.com shows 10 days. That gawstories one is probably an older draft version, although it's odd that they would have a fully functional site sitting there on a public server.

Having said that, I think public ICO in either case doesn't mean BTC or USD. "Exchange Launches" step on the timeline is when we can hope to get there. And there is no date on that.

Nov. 24th was the date given for HashPoint for HashCoin ICO.   After than HashBase is supposed to open.   It is unclear when HashCoins will be exchangeable or useable.

Based on the road map picture it has to be after HashCoin goes public, so at minimum 78 days away.  First they have to get it on the exchanges and when it was brought up at Cryptsy no one in the chat really seemed to care.

Yea, I suspect the crypto community will be agaisnt Hashcoin... If this isn't adopted by sheeple that don't typically use crypto it won't work.

why'd you lock the other thread and make this one? This thread will get nice and long just like the last one...we never have a shortage on crazy gaw antics Smiley

The topic has shifted significantly from the initial Zen hosting/hashlet questions that it seemed to warrant a fresh start.

Think of it as dumping your 20-year-old station wagon after kids are off to college and buying a 2015 Stingray (yes, using your ICO profits of course).

My jaw literally dropped.

Well, a number of people will be facing SEC indictments in the coming years over such blatant securities law violations and criminal fraud.
