How is LTCgear better? I see everything on the site that was affordable sold out...

Somebody show me how it's better?

Zeushash is still in closed beta so it ain't better yet. Genesis mining might be better...

Usually only 1K6X 160 mH miner is in stock at ltcgear. Returns have been 18% to 24% per week.

Yeah I just bought 4 1600 share packs.

So LTCgear isn't a ponzi MemCiD???

No its not...
He asked MemCiD. Are you MemCiD?

Things go from sold out to in stock within 24 hours. If you buy one of the decent packages with the promo code, then you are getting a considerably better return than a GAW zenpool hashlet.

Some guy compared the Genesis and GAW dividends and they were almost the same, GAW was even paying a bit more.
The difference may be in the software, how easy to use and reliable it is, payments that they allow and so on.

I read somewhere that Genesis were supposed to partner with asic mining technologies, but so far that company failed to deliver.

Finally mods doing something useful:

https://hashtalk.org/topic/8840/current-known-issues

Hopefully this will be kept up to date. I'm getting tired of being a beta tester and then wading through hashtalk to see if the issues are known, being fixed, etc.

I've just converted my S3 Ant to hashlets but now it's impossible to split it into smaller pieces. Wasn't that a feature they'd implement too?

It was implemented but the system kept spewing out identical hardware codes when they split.

It's good! with "Boosts" now all broken, we can now go back and focus on mining.

I hate to be a debbie downer... But this is annoucement was pretty awesome when I first read it, but the execution of it is horrible.. Everything is bugged out... I can't imagine another company that would roll out major updates with this many bugs...

I mean... None of it is working properly... The CSV is unsuable... The market doesn't work and has a horrible UI... The boosting "kinda" worked but it doesn't pay out... Every single one of their updates does not work.

I just don't get it.

edit - Well, maybe the boosting doesn't work.. I used my rocket and let it expire, but now can't use my double pool... sigh..

Wait I think I get it now.  The plan was to so complicate the way these things work that there was no possible way anyone could figure out if they were being paid correctly.  So they have a random number generator that spits out payouts and nobody can complain because everything is completely opaque.

Transparency doesn't seem to be a part of the strategy. Even on hashtalk it has been repeatedly asked to add the hashlet name/id/whatever to the payout table to show which hashlet a payout belongs to (without having to click on each one). But they'd rather show some useless information (do I really need my e-mail address on each payout row?) and not something that could help users to see their weekly bugs. Even their new CSV export doesn't show the hashlet name and the BTC amounts are inside a text field, e.g. "received payout of 0.00093435 BTC" - I'd really like to know what was going through their heads when they decided this is a good idea.

on the plus side you will never forget your email as much as we see it on the payouts lol

Ok, so the announcement apparently said Genesis will be in the Market "soon" and now is not soon yet:

Here is the thing about amps and boost:

So I still can't boost the primes - it's still saying I have a second pool, but that was supposed to last only 12 hours and now it's been ~20 hours.

Looking at my payouts I can't figure out where the double dip amp is. I don't think my payout for yesterday was any different than usual.

And my Genesis hashlets can't be split after I merged them.

Wow. Such fail.

This is the most confusing claim so far today:

https://hashtalk.org/topic/8483/hashlet-selling-methods

Quote
The reason we are using the Buy Back Program for Hashlet Primes is to start buying them out of circulation. This means that GAW will buy them back and not re-release them. We are going to start decreasing the amount of Primes in the wild to make them more valuable.

But as far as I can see Primes are still for sale and will remain so according to this:

https://hashtalk.org/topic/8471/introducing-the-hashlet-store

Quote
Hashlet Primes will Remain $50 Each!

Josh advised they 'would not always be for sale', but didnt say when they would be withdrawn. I did query him on this (in view of the fact the Prime's @ $50 would be a real money-spinner), asking what he intended to replace it with but got no response. My biggest concern with the site is the vagueness about their plans moving forward. Granted, it may just be they dont know exactly what they are going to do in the future and simply have ideas at this stage, but I find such responses (as above) are simply made to generate an urgency to buy without really knowing if their a good buy or not. Who's to say he wont release a 'Super-Prime' in the future, for example, thereby possibly reducing the value of the over-priced Primes by 50%?

I also find the 5% fee for the buyer AND the seller (10% total) quite exhorbitant. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isnt this more than ebay & paypal charge on a single purchase combined?
no ebay charge %10 and paypay 3% for american fund swhen i get paid for stuff i sell from people outside usa and canada i pay a extra 1% conversion fee to paypal... not sure if this applies to all normal accounts as i have a business account and prices might be grandfathered since i have had it for 15 years
