Looks like we are down 75%  Grin
Always the same with altcoins -> 99% you lose money (aka BTC) and 1% gives you crazy returns.

Had invested 1 BTC with an average price above 0.25 BTC per GBYTE.

did you register for free ones too?

i spent a couple of btc thinking i was a hero but it's well down. i could sell all and get plenty more than that back but i think this one's a keeper if you sit long enough on it.

Obvious scam-ICOs easily reach billions of dollars worth in market cap, 70% or more premine is no problem whatsoever for people to throw hundreds of millions of dollars into basically any Token with a flashy website with loads of promises. All marketing is targeted at getting people to throw money in it after they create a huge hype.

Byteball doesn't do that. It doesn't make promises. It doesn't ask for money. It just delivers a complete, unique and working system.

I can only conclude one thing: there is absolutely no logic behind altcoin trading! People have no idea what they're buying, but hey, 50% profit overnight, what can go wrong Cheesy

I still have high hopes for Byteball long-term, but I no longer assume instanty price increases. That's not realistic in any real world scenario anyway, and Byteball aims to get as many actual users as possible. Not just daytraders who don't even install a wallet but have 50 different currencies on an exchange.

I feel like byteball price is very attractive now and you will get 10% income every month + probably a further price increase.

price could easily go back to $200, beware.
It's possible, due to the low liquidity, but I'm not expecting such a big drop in terms of USD.
In terms BTC is harder to hold, especially when it's going up.

I wish the market saw it as a different cryptocurrency, but there is no way to get rid of these pump and dump cycles...

Because anyone wanted to take the BTC run.

Tomorrow price will be above 400 again. If you buy a big, big bunch now, even higher Wink

really?

As sure as a newbie can predict!

Did you think the price will soon rise again above the $ 400?
But what exactly happened to the coin?  It suddenly collapsed, but why?

My personal Byteball-effect

The price maybe low in the moment, but byteball had another, very profitable effect for me.

Because of the BTC/BTH split I sold a lot of alts for BTC in order to have the most available BTC. After the split it's been one week till Byteball airdrop, so I just waited this week before potentially buying back some alts.

After Airdrop the prices for most of the interesting alts were bad for buing and seem to face declining value, so I held my BTC.

Look at the run now with ATH at nearly 4200. Because I held, Byteball had a really good effect on my overall balance. Thanks!

Price declines because BTC going up. Loads of new gbytes on the wild and loads of new byteballers got them, first time. So very natural to have drop.
After few more distros we will see green candles everywhere.

People will realise in distro or two that to get more gbytes u need t buy them not link btc.
So we will see buying pressure. But until this time HODL like never before. beside only idiot would sell at this prices.

The price is completely dumped, so you have nice possibility for entry to this coin, but BTC is shit expensive now, so there are some risks with it.
p.s. What is your mind about GBB exchange listing? Is it possible?

You can buy coins pretty easily, but the problem is that after every airdop a lot of coins are getting dumped in the market. Plus the number of bitcoins linked for the airdrop increases with every round, so the number of coins in circulation is increasing drastically. After a couple of more rounds, this coin will stabilize.
