Jonny Kittel has said every year he wanted to leave Hamburger SV. But then a transfer did not work out after all. So as long as Kittel does not play for another team, we should wait and see.

and now it's official: jonny kittel is leaving hamburger sv. hsv has not made jonny kittel a new offer .
kittel has played 136 games for hsv in the last 4 years and has scored 36 goals. it is not known to which club kittel is moving.
he would like to get a well-paid longer contract . and hsv did not want to offer him that .

Hamburg played very good matches throughout the year to advance to the top league, but they had to play play out when they came in third with a 1 point margin. The sad part is that they will have to play another season in Bundesliga 2 because of the 1 point difference. I'm sure Hamburg will rise next year. They didn't beat their bad luck this year, but next year a better Hamburg will welcome us.

Hamburg had the most expensive team in Bundesliga 2 last season and they did not promote with it. With the 30 million euros from investor Kühne they will certainly have one of the most expensive teams in Bundesliga 2 again. If they will not make it in the following season then they really have to ask theirself, when else. The risk is increasing that they will no longer play for promotion but will end up in the midfield.
True, Hamburg was the most costly team in Bundesliga 2 last year but they were unsuccessful in getting promoted. They are set to once again create one of the most expensive teams in the league thanks to the substantial investment of 30 million euros from investor Kühne. The cost of a team however cannot be the only factor used to determine success. The intricate process of promotion is influenced by a number of variables such as the performance of their rivals and the chemistry of the team. Although having financial support is advantageous it does not ensure automatic promotion. Given their recent failures Hamburg administration and supporters definitely feel a sense of urgency. It is crucial to keep in mind that there is a chance of not getting promoted again. Hamburg must analyse their past performances pinpoint their areas for growth and make the necessary adjustments to strengthen their chances of winning the upcoming season.

as it is reported in the media, the hsv has signed another new player. his name: Immanuel Pherai from eintracht braunschweig.
he is an attacking midfielder and could come as a replacement for Jonny Kittel who will possibly leave the hsv.

Schalke has also brought a new player. Seguin from Union Berlin from Bundesliga 1.

this is the second new player at the hamburger sv. but there will surely be one or two more new ones in the next days or weeks.

and another hsv player wants to get more money: Bakery Jatta demands more money from hsv ..... he currently earns 500k euros a year .
that much would be enough for me personally  Grin

i personally don't believe in it  Wink

Neither do I. And neither do many Schalke fans.

But Schalke has its first newcomer. And that is already a surprise. It is a player from a club that will probably play for promotion next season. It is Ron Schallenberg.  He was at Paderborn and was even captain there. He has signed a contract for 3 years. Ron probably thinks that he is more likely to get promoted with Schalke than with Paderborn.

Today there was a general meeting from Schalke members. The sports director Peter Knäbel said that the goal from Schalke is to be back in the top 6 in the long term. After they were relegated straight back, they should not talk so big. First of all  they have to get back up and then show that they will stay in Bundesliga 1.

sport director Knäbel . among the best 6 of the district league Wattenscheid ? he was already at the Hamburger SV and even there he was not quite as successful.
he was even coach for two games at the Hamburger SV . then in zürich,Stuttgart and now Gelsenkirchen. but maybe Schalke will manage the miracle under knäbel.

klaumi ....who doesn't know this person > > klaumi is Klaus Michael Kühne  Wink

Thank you for the clarification. Otherwise I would not have known who Klaumi is.

Hamburger SV has a new player. Gui Ramos. He is a central defender and comes from Bielefeld. Hamburg did not have to pay anything for him because his contract with Bielefeld expired. His contract at Hamburger SV runs for 3 years.

Ludovit Reis also had a clause in his contract, like Glatzel, that he could leave his contract early for 7.5 million euros. This clause has expired and now he is staying with Hamburger SV until 2026.

wait a few more days ... the stadium in stellingen needs a new or old name. the rights to the name volksparstadion expired this year and it can be renegotiated.
maybe klaumi buys these rights and there are many many more million euros for the hsv.
and that klaumi's love for the hsv is rekindled i can well imagine that he buys the name again.

the hamburger sv didn't get promoted again this year also has advantages. the hsv doesn't have to go to heidenheim this year .
there isn't even a good pub there . instead the hsv goes to berlin and the hamburger fans can visit the alexanderplatz and visit good pubs .
the hsv doesn't have to go to böllenfalltor anymore . but it goes to gelsenkirchen in the big veltins arena .
actually hannover, schalke, berlin,st.pauli, kiel ,düsseldorf, magdeburg and kaiserslautern is better than darmstadt, heidenheim, augsburg, siensheim,
bochum or wolfsburg . the hsv has done everything right . Wink Wink

Whitewashing?  Cheesy

-----------------

Hamburger SV can be happy about 30 million euros. That is the sum investor Kühne gave the club. They can use it to strengthen their defence. But maybe they also need to build up the midfield. Ludovit Reis can imagine to change the club. Next week he will play in the U21 European Championship and can draw even more attention to himself.

2-3 new players will probably come so that the team can play at the top again.

Absolutely. They absolutely have to strengthen their defence. They were unable to compensate the loss from Vuskovic in the second half of the season. I am also curious to see who will come. But I am just as curious to see who will leave. I think Sonny Kittel was someone who always wanted to leave.

and what's new in berlin ? yes. they actually made it . hertha bsc berlin gets the licence for 2023/2024 from the dfl .
now they can hopefully plan reasonably for the 2.bundesliga

And not only Hertha Berlin. All 36 clubs from Bundesliga 1 and 2 received the licence. It was a question about 60 million at Hertha Berlin. If they had not been able to present it they would have been relegated to League 4.

Robert Glatzel from Hamburger SV remains in Hamburg. His original contract ran until 2025. He has now extended his contract until 2027. Other clubs could have bought him for only 1.5 million euros by Thursday.
Robert Glatzel has scored the most goals at Hamburger SV and the fact that he has his contract extended early is an important signal for the team.

ohhh. that's cool . i didn't expect that. but for the hsv robert glatzel is hard to replace. robert always scores his goals.
i'm happy for the hsv that robert will stay with the hsv. and now i am curious which new player will complete the new hsv team 2023-2024.

It looks like Jens Hartel will take over from Eintracht Braunschweig.
Maybe the presence of this coach can lead the team to Bundesliga 2.

Braunschweig is still in Bundesliga 2.

Good for hamburger team that they managed to extend the cntract of one of their most important players but am surprised at the same time the player agreed to stay on the team this show how much he love the club, am positive that atleast few of the bundesliga teams wanted to recruit him, scoring 19 goals in the bundesliga 2 is no easy task this shows how surgical Glatzel is, only kleindienst scored more than him.

eintracht braunschweig yesterday sacked coach michael schiele . michael schiele took over the team in summer 2021 and still had a contract until june 2025 .
who will now be the new coach of braunschweig is not known .braunschweig was only saved from relegation to the 3 bundesliga with a lot of luck last season

Someone already there. It is Jens Härtel. He was last coach in Hansa Rostock. He was there from January 2019 and was then dismissed in November 2022. He was promoted from League 3 to Bundesliga 2 with Hansa Rostock in 2021.
The sports director at Braunschweig is also new. Now it remains to be seen whether they can form a team that is suitable for Bundesliga 2. Last season they just managed not to be relegated.

Even though they have to try hard, they still have new hopes for next season and if success can be achieved then this is an extraordinary achievement because there they have to compete with several other big teams who are quite strong.
Even though we may not believe that Eintracht Braunschweig will succeed, at least there is new hope that will be brought by Jens Hartel.
