And there we go, another two relegation games for Hamburg unless something unexpected happens, but I doubt it as Regensburg and Sandhausen are already relegated to the 3. Bundesliga.

Hamburg has now been trying for so many years in a row and it is going to be Stuttgart, Schalke or Bochum and none of those teams sounds like an easy opponent, at least not in the relegation games. The bottom table in the 1. Bundesliga is still exciting as Schake has a very tough game against Leipzig and Stuttgart will play against an already safe Hoffenheim. For now I think it depends on how Stuttgart will do against Mainz and after that we'll see who the most likely opponent will be for Hamburg.

Darmstadt 98 : Magdeburg 1:0

congratulations to darmstadt . darmstadt 98 has made it and has today made the promotion to the 1.bundesliga perfect .
the team of coach Torsten Lieberknecht won 1:0 against magdeburg today . darmstadt now has 67 points and cannot be caught up by hsv .

Darmstadt really fought hard this very season in trying to get their team promoted to the BundesLiga and also Seeing Hamburger too make the list of the team that will get promoted is something very interesting, I missed their presence in that compition, they made me some cool cash betting on them during the time when they were still in the Bundes Liga.

Today the 3rd Matchball!.SV Darmstadt 98 plays in 5 hours against FC Magdeburg and now at home in front of their own fans. The stadium is sold out, everyone wants to go. Winning today and getting 3 points means that next year they will play in the 1st Bundesliga. The last two games against St. Pauli and Hannover 96 both lost, i think because they weren´t focused enough. Today maybe an easy game, it doesn´t matter if Magdeburg wins or loses, they will play in the 2th Bundesliga again next season. The betting odds today x1.4 for a darmstadt win.

I was sure that Darmstadt would win against Magdeburg. Magdeburg was not a strong team. Out of 33 matches they have won only 11 matches. On the other hand, Darmstadt did not play well in the last two matches but Darmstadt is very strong than Magdeburg. However, today's match was won by a margin of 1-0. Magdeburg's players performed well today. Magdeburg's players managed to have 70 percent ball possession today. I am happy with Darmstadt's win. Darmstadt is now 6 points ahead of Heidenheim in second place in the table.

Nürnberg can no longer be relegated after they managed a draw against Magdeburg. Theoretically, Fürth at place 12 could still be relegated. But that is very unlikely with a gap of 5 points. It could still be critical for Braunschweig and Nürnberg.

is nürnberg safe or not .....  Wink

Ooops. I forgot to write something. I meant that Nürnberg can no longer be relegated directly.

--------------

the team that finished in third place still has to struggle again because they have to go through the play-off round

Statistically the team from Bundesliga 1 has won the relegation more often. And that is a point which I do not understand. Because the team from the Bundesliga 2 has had more victories and more success than the team from the Bundesliga 1. They actually have much less self-confidence, but still managed not to get relegated.

Anyway, Darmstadt, Heidenheim and Hamburger SV can be sure to finish in the top three even though they will still overtake each other but in the end their position will still be in the top three, right? It's just that, of course, the team that finished in third place still has to struggle again because they have to go through the play-off round, but apart from that I think the competition will still make them fine.

in the hamburger stadium on saturday evening more than 57000 fans will roar the team to victory. i am convinced of that. then place 3 is secure.
the day before darmstadt will also achieve promotion with a win against magdeburg. and heidenheim should also win against sandhausen on saturday.
i can't imagine that sandhausen will get a point in heidenheim. in the end darmstadt will be in first place, heidenheim will remain in second place
and hsv will play against  HuhHuh  in the relegation.

i think at least the relegation has now secured the hamburger team. 2 matchdays are still to play and hsv is 6 points ahead
of fourth place and only one point behind heidenheim.

Yes, that seems be perfect now. Nut should Hamburger SV lose the next game at home the fans would probably no longer understand the world. With the defeat n from Darmstadt even the Hamburger SV could still move up to first place. It is strange that Darmstadt did not manage to convert 2 match points. It would be a pity if they did not end their great season at first place.

What's more, the two opponents they will face in the next two remaining matches, at least they or these top three teams still allow them to gain points in the next two matches. therefore, I say in the end they will still be okay because they can still get points to maintain their current position.

The next match from Braunschweig is against Regensburg. If Braunschweig wins they are safe. But they also ensure that Regensburg will definitely be relegated.

i hope braunschweig,nürnberg and magdeburg will stay in the 2.bundesliga. they are cool clubs with lots of fans and well known all over germany.
it would be a pity if one of them should get relegated. i think from place 12 onwards all clubs are still in danger. 6 points are still up for grabs.
but sandhausen and regensburg will probably be relegated. anything else would be a huge sensation for me. but who will play the relegation?
we will probably only be able to answer this question after the 34th matchday.

the competition is high in these last few games Darmstadt need to keep focused for the remaining 2 games which will not be easy games, they will play against two teams that have been trying hard to draw and knowing that Darmstadt is coming from a defeat so in cases like these the chances of seeing a draw are very high, I won't be surprised with a draw in this game, a defeat against Darmstadt could put them in a very bad position, with the risk of even finishing in third place and having to play for the play-offs. about heidenheim, strangely they also had bad results in the last 2 games, a draw and a defeat, if they had managed to get 2 wins then they would be at the top of the league and who knows they could become champions

but unfortunately they wasted a great opportunity, but they still have a chance but it depends on luck, you have to pray that your 2 direct opponents lose at least 1 of the games and they manage to win in all the remaining games, it's not something impossible, there are bigger chances of Darmstadt losing points in any of the last 2 games while hamburger sv will hardly lose points in the last 2 games because they won't have a very difficult opponent to beat, they are very lucky. without a doubt, predicting who will be the champion has become a very difficult task to predict, particularly I support Darmstadt

I didn't think that it could perhaps become a bit close again for Darmstadt to finish the season as the 1st, but it could still be happening. Now all of the first three have a home game on the next weekend. Darmstadt could seal the deal with a win at home and Hamburg could keep up the pressure for Heidenheim. Interestingly, they all have a seemingly easy game on the last game day of the season as well. Usually you wouldn't expect many changes anymore, but Darmstadt has shown that they can still lose points against weaker teams. Will HSV once more end up in the relegation games? Smiley

Everybody betting on Darnstadt to win? Tomorrow they play inHannover and if they win they will play in the Bundesliga next season. And then the games against Eintracht Frankfurt are 100% sure completely sold out in a few seconds. Darmstadt failed to use a matchpoint last week, losing vs St. Pauli. Tomorrow they will play with Honsak, Tietz and Manu in the offensive and hopefully win. They don‘t play at home in the Stadium, there would be more fans there. The betting odds are x1,8 win Darmstadt and x4,0 win Hannover.

and it remains super exciting in the 2.bundesliga. darmstadt loses with 1:2 in Hanover and heidenheim loses with 2:3 in Paderborn.
and who is the big winner of this weekend ? the hamburger sv . the hsv has deservedly won today with 5:1 in Regensburg.

of fourth place and only one point behind heidenheim.

I only watched the last 30 minutes between St. Pauli and Düsseldorf. That was really a great game. Back and forth. Düsseldorf had had a bit more will to win. But St. Pauli is very strong at home. Under normal conditions, it would have been a success for Düsseldorf to play a draw. But in the current situation it does not help. But the fans of Hamburger SV are certainly happy.

Sandhausen still has a great chance. They will play against HSV at the last matchday. HSV will certainly be nervous, so that will be the chance for Sandhausen. And in important games HSV usually manages to lose.

on the last matchday, sandhausen wins 2-1 against hsv and dennies dieckmeier and david kinsombi score the two goals against hamburg.  Grin Grin
that would be the perfect end to this season for hamburg. dieckmeier only scores against hsv.
but first watch the games on sunday. all three favourites don't play until tomorrow afternoon. we'll be smarter at 3:22pm

today there was already the first sensation: bielefeld wins with 2:1 in kaiserslautern. no one expected that either.
and tonight the game st. pauli vs. düsseldorf. one team will probably have to adjust to playing in the 2.bundesliga next year.

edit: St.Pauli : Düsseldorf  0:0  neither of the two teams wants to be in the first league  Grin Grin

I am a pretty neutral spectator regarding the second Bundesliga but i would really like if the HSV would finally get a chance to at least play the Relegation games after they have been in the second Bundesliga for quite a few years already now. Their upcoming match against Jahn Regensburg is not so easy though. Regensburg just replaced their coach and this can always trigger something in a team. So it is very much possible, that Regensburg is showing a good performance all of a sudden. We will see.

Most people are already assuming that Hamburger SV will not make it this year either and will end up at place 4. And if St. Pauli finish at place 3, there will be a lot going on in Hamburg.

sandhausen will be relegated to the 3.bundesliga for 99,9%. if sandhausen still manages the relegation place it would be a sensation.
but then sandhausen would have to win the remaining 2 games.

Everything is still possible. Even Paderborn still has a small chance of finishing at place 3 at the end of the season. And even in the lower part of the table Fürth at place 12 could still be relegated directly or Magdeburg at place 11 could end up at a relegation place. But until then three more games will be played.
The season finale is really exciting this year and I am looking forward to watch the games.

At the same time Heidenheim also has a pretty tough match against Paderborn which also still wants to reach the Relegation rank. Everything is still totally open.
