Glory To Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!

i also think it's too late. sandhausen won't be able to save itself this season.
the 28th matchday starts tomorrow . and an interesting duel at 6:30 pm . hannover vs. heidenheim ! can heidenheim win tomorrow ?
it won't be easy for coach frank schmidt's team . the second match is fürth vs. regensburg. i don't find this match interesting. you can see the whole 28th matchday here.
personally, i am looking forward to the games of düsseldorf , kaiserslautern and st. pauli . i am curious if st. pauli will get the eleventh victory  Wink

The winning streak can't go on forever, sometime it should end, Braunschweig does not seem to be the most dangerous opponent, but they are very close to the relegation zone, which should make them play better. What about Hamburg, can we say that after the victory at Hannover they are back in the game? Kaiserslautern loses at home very rarely, so it will not be easy for Hamburg today.

heidenheim has won 3:0 in hannover and is back on place 2. all 3 goals were scored in the first half. today hsv has the chance to get back to place 2.
but they have to win in kaiserslautern. but i think kaiserslautern will win the game tonight. they will fight more and keep the 3 points in the pfalz.
1 point for hsv is not enough for place 2.

Hannover : Heidenheim 0:3
Fürth : Regensburg 2:1

There will be no successor. They agreed the day after that the two assistants Gerhard Kleppinger and Oscar Corrochano will coach the team until the end of the season. They have only 7 games left to avoid relegation. I do not think they can do it. The next game is against Magdeburg.

And after sacked Oral  they also sacked sporting director Mikayil Kabaca yesterday.

Yes but the special part about St. Pauli's winning streak is that they started such a streak when they were at the bottom of the table and are now fighting for ranks in the table that get them promoted to the 1. Bundesliga. That is a unique event as far as I know and I hope it comes to a good ending and they make it.

That is right. They have started their winning streak at matchday 18. On that day they have jumped from place 15 to place 10 in the table. Now they are back at place 4. On that place were they have been on the first and second matchday. This means that the other teams have played pretty mixed since then.

What I also just saw is that they have only conceded 3 goals since then. That is also a great achievement.

But as I expected St. Pauli continues their outrageous winning strike (it is really becoming unreal...)

St. Pauli have now won game number 10 in a row. Only Karlsruher SC had previously achieved this in the season 1986/87 . So in the next match St. Pauli have the opportunity to set a record. But the 3 points would be much more important. St. Pauli would make Bundesliga 1 much more colourful than Hamburger SV.
The next game is against Braunschweig. They are fighting against relegation and won against Kaiserslautern. That will certainly not be an easy game for St. Pauli.

I can only vaguely imagine what the party for St. Pauli would look like on the last game day when they achieve that goal. But until then there are still a couple of games to go.

Well I couldn't be more excited, my team here has been St Pauli, I also really like the way HSV has manifested itself in the team, the football that HSV has shown is worthy of being in the Bundesliga and even though against everything prognosis HSV has had some problems throughout the championship, it was not fair for it to be left behind, for me these things that are occurring in the 2nd Bundesliga show that any team can qualify and get into the Bundesliga, I cannot deny, what has done the St Pauli is a glorious thing.

Fully agree with you about St. Pauli and I have known them for a very long time, but this season is just so outstandingly exciting for them that I hope they can finish it successfully. The second half of the season is unreal. That winning streak is no coincidence and it gets me exciting because I love when clubs writer history. If they get promoted to the 1. Bundesliga, it has never happened  before ever that a club after such a first half of the season still makes the cut.

It reminds me of Leicester City winning the Premier League. I have never followed Leicester City before, but that season they turned me into a fan just for the reason of a huge underdog pushing the big favorites.

the 27th matchday is over and darmstadt has won again and is still on place 1. darmstadt has won today with 2:1 against Paderborn
and is with one leg in the 1.bundesliga. the last sandhausen has lost again with 0:2 against fürth and is last with only 21 points.
sandhausen will probably be relegated to the 3. league. but what st. pauli is doing is sensational. they have won all of their last 10 games.
that's really amazing. pauli is now fourth and has a real chance of 2nd or 3rd place if the team continues to play so well.

source: https://www.flashscore.com/football/germany/2-bundesliga/standings

what makes it interesting is that St.Pauli has succeeded with 5 consecutive winning matches and Pauli seems to have the opportunity to overtake Heidenheim and occupy number 3 in the standings.
but it seems to be in second place and taking the position from Hamburger is very difficult, meanwhile, even though Hamburger can only win 2 matches in the last 5 matches, they are very strong and don't want second place to be taken over by Pauli.
and on the other hand, Hamburger has a target to hit the first position to continue to catch Darmstadt's position.

in the German league 2nd standings it is very interesting when fighting for positions 1-2-3 because the point difference is not too far.

St. Pauli have a difficult remaining programm. They still have to play against places 1 to 4 and against 3 teams woh are fighting against relegation. Therefore I do not see them reaching place 3 in the end.

i think st.pauli will get 15 points from the remaining games. but that won't be enough. pauli has to have at least 62 points to have a chance of promotion.
with a lot of luck they can get 3rd place. but that would be the miracle of the elbe in 2023.

st.pauli next games

It's not for nothing, but I have a lot of hope for St Pauli, it's a team that made me excited two seasons ago, and I also think it's time for something different to happen and the Bundesliga to become more exciting than it is, with what What has happened in the 2nd Bundesliga and what is happening in the elite teams of the Bundesliga is something that we did not expect, the Bayern thing, and now this St Pauli thing that can happen, there are 15 points that can make them stay inside, not bad for this team that I have always kept that little hope.

If this game wasn't what Hamburg needed to take this season to a successful end, then I don't know what else could happen to them such that they have enough confidence and will power to finally make it into the 1. Bundesliga. This 6-1 was actually more important than one might think.

This victory was so important for Hamburger SV. Finally they showed again that they can score goals. Far too often they had only won 1:0. But hopefully this goal gala has given them enough self-confidence to get through their month of terror.
Now they are back at place 2 in the table and they now have it in their own hands to go straight up to Bundesliga 1.

I haven't got much too add to your comment! Smiley

But as I expected St. Pauli continues their outrageous winning strike (it is really becoming unreal...) and if Hamburg didn't win, damn the table would be so close. BUT it would have been so nice because all of us following soccer closely would have looked forward to April 21st! Cheesy Hamburg against Pauli. It will still be such an intense game and there is only one game in between until then. I am curious whether both can secure a win and then go into the game with the six points distance. Excitement is safe either way.

It is so close that this might play a big role during the last game days of the season. But everyone is waiting for the game tonight between St. Pauli and Heidenheim. If St. Pauli wins it, the fight for promotion is on full steam. I would go so far and say that if Pauli loses, it is over for them. That would make it 9 points between them and Hamburg with 7 games left.

Take a look at my merits, It's lucky number
For this reason I do not see Hamburger SV as a favourite in this game. I can even imagine that they will have problems with their nerves and could lose this game.

How can it be like that, mate? It is clear that HSV is the favorite team to win their match against Hannover. There are 2 reasons in my opinion, the first is because this match will take place at the Volksparkstadion (HSV's home ground), and the second reason is because this season the performance of HSV is better than Hannover. Besides the 2 reasons above, you can see the odds that you will get when choosing HSV or Hannover, it's like sky and earth, mate.

In my opinion, Hamburger SV will not waste this opportunity and will win easily from Hannover 96, my score prediction is 3 - 1 for Hamburger SV win, what do you think guys?

The big HSV against the small HSV. The balance between the two clubs is very even. In the 2nd Bundesliga the two clubs have played each other 7 times so far. Hamburger SV has won 3 games and they have manage a draw 2 times.
For this reason I do not see Hamburger SV as a favourite in this game. I can even imagine that they will have problems with their nerves and could lose this game.

Competition in the 2. Bundesliga is heating up, the 3 clubs in the top standings are not too far apart in points. Darmstadt with 55 points, Heidenheim with 51 points and Hamburger SV with 50 points.

Tomorrow we will see the match between Hamburger SV and Hannover 96, of course this match will be an important match for Hamburger SV to be able to stay on a good track for the 2. Bundesliga title race. In my opinion, Hamburger SV will not waste this opportunity and will win easily from Hannover 96, my score prediction is 3 - 1 for Hamburger SV win, what do you think guys?

can hamburger sv finally win another match this weekend ? or is st. pauli getting closer and closer to third place ?
hamburger sv plays hannover in hamburg tomorrow at 1 pm. the volksparstadion is sold out with 57000 fans from hamburg and hannover .
the other very interesting match is heidenheim vs. st. pauli. can st.pauli extend their winning streak ? it's damn hard to place your bets right this weekend.

source: https://www.espn.co.uk/football/fixtures/_/league/ger.2

See the situation for Hamburg in this game. The only outcome that counts for them is a win. Nothing else. If they lose it is either Heidenheim getting too war away on the 2nd rank, or St. Pauli with their sensational winning streak getting so close that Hamburg really has to fear to not even make it to the final 3 in the end and I must say that if that happens, St. Pauli has deserved it so much to overtake Hamburg in the end and I do hope that Hamburg is left behind on the 4th rank for I don't even know how many years in a row. They are so terribly bad given that they are such a huge club. Whenever the pressure rises, they start failing. They won a single game out of the last five. How are you then claiming to be a 1. Bundesliga club especially when you are called Hamburg?
