An important match this weekend is between Sandhausen and Regensburg. Place 18 against Place 16. Sandhausen could be equal on points with Regensburg with a win. Probably also with Rostock as they will play away against Kaiserslautern .
There are still a total of 15 points to be awarded. Looking at the lower part of the table relegation could be even possible for the team at place 12, Magdeburg. They are 7 points in front of place 16. They will play against Hamburger SV.

hsv won the match against st. pauli 4:3 today. that was a very very important win and also an important 3 points. 57000 fans in the stadium were thrilled by the match. it was a very exciting match that could have ended 4:4

That was a really great derby.  Both teams took advantage of the mistakes from the opponent and in the end Hamburger SV had done it a bit better.
As has been written there are still 15 points to be achieved. Hamburger SV is at place 3 and 9 points ahead from place 4. So it is 95% certain that the teams from places 1-3 will decide the promotion among themselves. The battle for place 2 will be exciting.

Darmstadt game was good for now against Karlsruhe, most people think the game was favourable to Karlsruhe. The game was the unexpected one for now, Darmstadt had won the match against the Karlsruhe and scored additional 5 points to move to the second place on the table. The fans of Darmstadt was in high happy mood for the match win and Darmstadt to move to the second place. The next games of Darmstadt was against the St Pauli and Kiel will be the toughest for the Darmstadt for sure. So Darmstadt should learn some good game from the their coaches and improve their game to face the top players like Pauli and Kiel in the serious. Pauli will be tough one as compared to the other one. Keil should increase their coaching as compared to the normal one. Because the Keil had good game and expected to win the Darmstadt.

Only 5 games left this season and possible 15 points. Darmstadt won today against Karlsruhe and are now 5 points ahead of 2nd place. Today ist was very close, but it doesn’t matter, they got the 3 points. Darmstadt still has 2 difficult games, for example against St Pauli and Kiel. But at the moment it looks really good that Darmstadt will play in the first Bundesliga next season and that is the way it has to be. Last year they missed it so close.

Matchday number 29 starts tomorrow, leaving a total and maximum of 18 points up to grab for each team. Theoretically, Fürth at palce 10 could still achieve a direct promotion place. Joking aside
This Weekend Hamburger SV has the most difficult game of the teams that has the highest chances to be promoted. If Hamburger SV loses to St. Pauli it will be very difficult for the players psychologically.
I remember that the games against St. Pauli was often a crunch point for Hamburger SV. In both directions....

attention: important for all fans of hsv and st.pauli and all other interested people

the top match on friday evening at 18:30 hamburger sv against st.pauli can also be seen live on youtube.
those who don't have sky sport bundesliga can then follow the match live there. many who don't have sky and also didn't get a ticket can still see this match.
enjoy the top match on friday !

Sandhausen finally sent out a sign of living by winning for the first time in a long time. Nevertheless it is still difficult for them to get out of the bottom of the table. Their remaining programme is not easy. But they also have two times the chance to win against a direct neighbour. They still have to play against Rostock and Regensburg. They have to win both games to avoid relegation.
But first they will have to play against Paderborn. Paderborn will give everything to win this game. Because they only have a small chance to keep place 3 in reach if they will win.

what is this like a crazy 2.bundesliga . yesterday the hsv loses in kaiserslautern with 2:0 and everybody laughed. and what happens today ?
st. pauli loses at home against braunschweig with 1:2 and darmstadt loses in düsseldorf with 0:1 . nobody has typed these results .
only heidenheim has won from the teams that are on top. it is really a funny season

Actually too bad as this was the big chance that St. Pauli has been working for so hard now. Damn in, I would have liked if they won their game. But the next game is almost a match ball for Pauli against Hamburg. If Pauli loses that one it's over for them. Doesn't help now to look back but if it were only those three points before the derby takes place, I am sure HSV would have been afraid of playing that game and destroy another season in the 2. Bundesliga.

Yes, really crazy. But Hamburger SV is doing what they has been doing for the last few years. They wasting their promotion in April......again. Very disappointing for the fans.

St. pauli missed a great opportunity. They could have gone into the derby with a 3-point gap. But they could also have set a new record of winning 11 games in a row.

So the winners of matchday 28 are Heidenheim and Düsseldorf. Thus they still have a small chance to reach place 3.

darmstadt has a very important game today against düsseldorf, well in case of victory, darmstadt will be even further away from second place, that is, darmstadt will have an advantage of 7 points and with only 6 games left for the league to end, I think that darmstadt have very good chances of becoming champions this season, they just need to win 4 more games to be champions or else they just need to pray that their opponent who is in second place loses at least 2 games and darmstadt wins 2 more games

Anyway, I don't see the table positions in relation to the teams that are at the top having a big change until the end of the season, at least in relation to the 3 teams that are at the top I see that there will be no change, humburg is a team inconsistent even has a chance of finishing in 4th place, but I doubt very much that they will be able to finish in second place, and darmstadt has a very large advantage over second place, currently they are 4 points and that can rise to 7 points in case from darmstadt to win in today's game

Kaiserslauten : Hamburger SV 2:0

and again the hsv loses an important match. tonight the hsv lost 2:0 in kaiserslautern. and kaiserslautern deserved to win.
hamburg had no good ideas and only a few chances to score. for kaiserslautern both jokers scored.
so it will not be possible to get promoted this season. whoever plays like this doesn't deserve to get promoted to the first bundesliga.
if darmstadt and st.pauli win tomorrow it looks very gloomy in stellingen  Wink

opoku scored the 2:0 for kaiserslautern. he came from ...........hsv in 2022 !

Rostock will play against Magdeburg at Sunday. Both clubs lost their last match. But Hansa Rostock comes to Magdeburg with a new coach. Both teams have to win to get out of the bottom of the table. But I think there will be no winner in this match and it will end with a 0:0. That would be a small success for Rostock.
But Rostock has something positive to report. Their goalkeeper Markus Kolke has extended his contract until 2026. He has been goalkeeper since 2019 in Rostock and knows the ups and downs at Rostock.
Well, the Rostock thing is not bad, besides if the goalkeeper signed until 2026 it is because he is very well committed to them, I think this could be the perfect incentive for this team to oppose everything, not only in sold-out matches but as a team they complement each other so that they know that they have to have a lot of confidence and that now is the time, they cannot waste more opportunities, they must stop losing and be strong, the 2nd Budesliga is always exciting and makes you think that things if they can regardless of the circumstances.
Yes but the special part about St. Pauli's winning streak is that they started such a streak when they were at the bottom of the table and are now fighting for ranks in the table that get them promoted to the 1. Bundesliga. That is a unique event as far as I know and I hope it comes to a good ending and they make it.

That is right. They have started their winning streak at matchday 18. On that day they have jumped from place 15 to place 10 in the table. Now they are back at place 4. On that place were they have been on the first and second matchday. This means that the other teams have played pretty mixed since then.

What I also just saw is that they have only conceded 3 goals since then. That is also a great achievement.

I know that I have expressed it many times, but if St Pauli goes to the Bundesliga I think I will feel very happy, from the beginning I always saw St Pauli as far away and somehow said it, but it made me angry to see that they were not They wanted to, that they lost for anything, I did not see that they were sweating their shirts, I know that they are fighting for the first places, but from now on they should win everything, and fight to be first, it is something that they owe to the fans and everyone who made us dream two seasons ago.

Glory To Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!

i also think it's too late. sandhausen won't be able to save itself this season.
the 28th matchday starts tomorrow . and an interesting duel at 6:30 pm . hannover vs. heidenheim ! can heidenheim win tomorrow ?
it won't be easy for coach frank schmidt's team . the second match is fürth vs. regensburg. i don't find this match interesting. you can see the whole 28th matchday here.
personally, i am looking forward to the games of düsseldorf , kaiserslautern and st. pauli . i am curious if st. pauli will get the eleventh victory  Wink

The winning streak can't go on forever, sometime it should end, Braunschweig does not seem to be the most dangerous opponent, but they are very close to the relegation zone, which should make them play better. What about Hamburg, can we say that after the victory at Hannover they are back in the game? Kaiserslautern loses at home very rarely, so it will not be easy for Hamburg today.

heidenheim has won 3:0 in hannover and is back on place 2. all 3 goals were scored in the first half. today hsv has the chance to get back to place 2.
but they have to win in kaiserslautern. but i think kaiserslautern will win the game tonight. they will fight more and keep the 3 points in the pfalz.
1 point for hsv is not enough for place 2.

Fürth : Regensburg 2:1

There will be no successor. They agreed the day after that the two assistants Gerhard Kleppinger and Oscar Corrochano will coach the team until the end of the season. They have only 7 games left to avoid relegation. I do not think they can do it. The next game is against Magdeburg.

And after sacked Oral  they also sacked sporting director Mikayil Kabaca yesterday.

the 49-yo coach Tomas Oral is already history again at sv sandhausen. on easter monday, the last-place team in the 2nd Bundesliga sacked its coach - after just seven weeks or six games with two points. a successor for the remaining 7 games has not yet been announced...

But as I expected St. Pauli continues their outrageous winning strike (it is really becoming unreal...)

St. Pauli have now won game number 10 in a row. Only Karlsruher SC had previously achieved this in the season 1986/87 . So in the next match St. Pauli have the opportunity to set a record. But the 3 points would be much more important. St. Pauli would make Bundesliga 1 much more colourful than Hamburger SV.
The next game is against Braunschweig. They are fighting against relegation and won against Kaiserslautern. That will certainly not be an easy game for St. Pauli.

I can only vaguely imagine what the party for St. Pauli would look like on the last game day when they achieve that goal. But until then there are still a couple of games to go.
