Yea Hamburg really is something in the last years. The play the first half of the season like a team that belongs in the Bundesliga, just to ruin it towards the end of the season...

I was just checking the ranking of the 2nd half of the season (so the last 12 games games now)
1st Bremen 27points
2nd Schalke 24
3rd Nürnberg 23
5th Darmstadt 19
9th Hamburg 16
11th St.Pauli 16

If this trend continues then it looks good for Nürnberg and Schalke and rather bad for St. Pauli Wink

what do we learn from this ? the hsv doesn't want to be in the first bundesliga .
there they would probably lose 80% of the games and immediately be relegated to the second bundesliga.

Schalke is in the first place and I am actually amazed by that. For a long time, they have not been able to perform at their best. But I have always said that this team has the potential to do so. And I am really happy to see them in the first place.

What I am actually amazed to see is that Werder Bremen has not performed up to the standards in recent times and I thought them to be one of the best contenders to win the league title.

A new competitor appears here again and this is really surprising and makes me quite excited to see the continuation of the match in this second tier Cheesy

Well Schalke's form is really very good now and Bremen are not playing well which makes them displaced for a while now.
Bremen's performance has decreased slightly, which makes Schalke more flexible now. this will be even more exciting because now we don't just see Darmstadt, St. Pauli and Bremen only but now Schalke has turned into a pretty strong scourge now

On 17.04. is a highlight game: Darmstadt against Schalke, the 30 match day and currently i believe Schalke win this game. Today Darmstadt has not played good against Nürnberg and meanwhile i am not a fan of Darmstadt, so from me Schalke can climb in the Bundesliga.

schalke 04 won the match against heidenheim easily with 3:0 and is currently first in the 2.bundesliga.

Schalke vs Heidenheim 2-1

If it stays like this Schalke would be taking over the lead (at least temporarily Shocked

) and Heidenheim would be pretty much out of the race.

I think Dusseldorf Actually played well overall in that match. And I agree that they took their chances and they were good enough in that match to actually convert the chances into goals. This second Bundesliga is really interesting in my opinion because the points difference is so close and almost nonexistent. just like if this match was a win for Hansa, they would have advanced multiple spots in the points table for stop

There are two games today. Düsseldorf - Rostock. Regensburg - Ingolstadt. Neither game has much impact on the table except for Düsseldorf. For Düsseldorf, a win is important to keep the gap to 16th place. Ingolstadt no longer have a realistic chance of staying in the 2nd Bundesliga. And Rostock and Regensburg will no longer have really much to do with relegation.

Frankfurt vs Freiburg is a fixture that would have made Freiburg shake off further from the top four race. But looking at the fixtures, Frankfurt might not be able to battle with Freiburg because today I think they will meet Barcelona for the Europa League and they will give more of their energy there than the league and they might not be favoured because Barcelona is very impressive this season.
There best performance should be in the Europa because they have already lost out in the league. Then we should expect a fight against Barcelona.

But, in the second Division Office things are a lot more interesting. and obviously, it is hard to predict because almost all the teams are really strong here and the competition is really good.

At this moment Werder Bremen seems to be at the top of the table, but I think it's only a matter of time before there goes their spot, because in my opinion st Pauli is going to take the first spot in the league but it is really hard to predict which team will end the league by being at the first spot.
