Because in this second Bundesliga there is no team that can be consistent for a long time and also, at least their quality is evenly matched so it's no wonder the competition is more competitive. It's interesting indeed, because there are only 3 matches left but no team can be confirmed for positions 1,2 and 3, the points acquisition which is only one and two points different, of course, makes them even more depressed. But it looks like Schalke are under more pressure, as the next two opponents like St. Pauli and Nurnberg cannot be said to be easy for Schalke. St. Pauli who still has a chance for third place, then of course they will continue to fight hard for it.

The second Bundesliga has become more competitive than the first Bundesliga. No matter how the teams perform each season, we see Bayern Munich as the champions. But the top spot in the second Bundesliga has changed several times this season. We have seen Pauli at the top of the table since the start of the season. Schalke has 3 hard games coming up and it's difficult to say where they are now after their loss against Bremen. Bremen and Darmstadt should be able to win their next games quite safely. St.Pauli vs Nürnberg will be an open fight.

All what missing is St. Pauli and Hamburger SV and the northern part of Germany would be completely back in the first Bundesliga.

But I am more worried about St. Pauli. The offensive is weakening. Last year they often decided games in the first half and scored 37 goals in the first half od the season. In this second half of the season they Pauli have conceded more goals than in the entire first. So in defence it does not work well anymore either.

Werder Bremen and Schalke could be back at division 1 is a great thing, and if Lewandowski is not going to sign a contract with Bayern Munich and Haaland is sure to be out on Dortmund next season, I really think this could make the teams shifting possible new candidates to rise as a champion if Bayern Munich could not acquire Robert Lewandowski that is because if does Bayern Munich will still reign in the 1st Division, and yes Werder Bremen and Schalke could be relegated back again to the 2nd Division.

The next match on April 30, that I am anticipating and this could change the standings as well or the standing may remain the same on what result it may be, but I am excited to watch those matches if Werder of Schalke could be ready enough to face the 1st division teams.

SV Sandhausen VS Schalke, Werder VS Holstein Kiel, FC St. Pauli VS Nurnberg, and Hansa VS Paderborn

nürnberg was clearly the better team and even at the score of 2-2 did not convert a penalty to 3-2 - all 4 goals for sv sandhausen were scored after corners.

Right now Darmstadt is in the 3rd position and will surely remain in that spot, St. Pauli was on the top at the opening of the season, but they lack determination in keeping that spot, right now Werder Bremen, Schalke, and Darmstadt is on the top 3 if this keeps up St. Pauli will surely cast down even more further, Jahn Regensberg was at the 1st spot, when the season starts, but right now because of so many injuries that right now they can not sustain that position and push down the 10th spot,

FC St. Pauli VS Darmstadt GOAL 1 - 2 - WIN

Just like I thought, Darmstadt make a win over St.Pauli, well Darmstadt was pretty much lucky St. Pauli was on the advantage but Darmstadt just did and make a goal to secure Darmstadt a win,

Paderborn VS Hannover 96 GOAL 3 - 0 - WIN

This match was a very one-sided one, and I really know that Hannover couldn't stand a chance against Paderborn in the beginning, I really think this is a no brainer when it comes to knowledge regarding the Bundesliga,

Nuremberg VS SV Sandhausen GOAL 2 - 4 - LOST

This has really shocked me, I really think that Nuremberg could win against Sandhausen, and regarding the game stats, Nuremberg got all the juicy stats, but still, Sandhausen still made 4 goals than Nuremberg's 2 goals,

A 6 point game for Darmstadt, so they have made it. After the first half, there was almost defence from Darmstadt. Important victory. The following games will be "easier". Bremen, Schalke and Darmstadt in the first Bundesliga is ok, even if i would like to see St. Pauli in Bundesliga. I haven't had such good experiences with Darmstadt this year.

Well, in the end this didn't change anything on the scoreboard and Indeed Darmstadt are still too good and it looks like they are quite ready for this match even though they were attacked continuously but the goal in the first 10 minutes made them look more confident.
Now they are quite comfortable in 3rd place but very bad for St.Pauli now that they are nearing the end of the season being less consistent

There are 10 minutes left in the game and Darmstadt is ahead by 2-1. If it stays like that and after Bremen's win today, it seems that Schalke, Bremen and Darmstadt are in the top3 and will probably remain there unitl the end of the season, the other teams will have difficulties to get up there.
I was surprised that Bremen beat Schalke so clear with 4-1, I hope Schalke will not lose their strength in this stage

If st Pauli  Does win tonight it will be really interesting. even though Schalke will still be in the second place in the league standings will have the same points as st Pauli.  there will only be at in terms of goal difference. It is going to be really interesting to see which teams are going to finish at the top of the table.

Schalke Is surely going to face some problems going ahead into the league because they are going to really suffer trying to get back the first position that they had.
I really don't think that they played much terribly but they certainly played badly in that match and obviously the defense did look really shaky. 

I have to say Werder Bremen played really well and took their chances well. it was really hard to imagine them greeting than opponent when Schalke had a really perfect form in the last 5 matches.

the result of this match was beyond expectation. Schalke lost 1-4 to Bremen, even though Schalke played at home but they played not as usual.
The battle between the two top teams, but unfortunately Schalke failed to take advantage of the opportunity at home to beat Wender Bremen.

so the winning streak of schalke 04 is broken and if st. pauli should win tonight it will be even more exciting in the top of the table and then there is only one point separating werder (1 place) and st. pauli (3 place)
hamburger sv also wins away 4-2 vs. regensburg and continues to preserve its small chance to perhaps still come to the third place

Schalke against Bremen today - both teams belong for me in the Bundesliga and i think there is an unofficial agreement today. Both want to lose no points and be as safe as possible in the last match days to not end up in 3rd place. The betting odds are okay for the results 1:1 is x7 and 2:2 at x11. Draw is at x3,6. So if I would bet, then i would bet on all 3 a small amount.

In the end Schalke proved their quality and they look likely to make it back to the Bundesliga next season, it's nice to know this as they can come back quickly or just miss a season. Today Schalke will play against Werder Bremen which is a match for ranked one and two, I really hope Schalke can win the match to widen the gap.
