Since Dortmund is a totally different team at home I expect them to bounce back after the recent setbacks and get those 3 points. I mean they already looked good against Barcelona, just got a little bit unlucky and outmatched at the end.
Too bad their injury list got bigger though with Nice Schlotterbeck being out for the next games at least. That's still better than what they feared at first when everybody thought he might have gotten some fractured bone in the match with Barca.
Hopefully the fans in Dortmund can push the team so they get a win after 3 winless games in a row.

Bayern Munich will probably be champions this season.

Seriously, I don't understand why people are so bitter with Bayern defeat as if it was a champions league final they lost. They seem to forget a team can not win every game and moreover, they are still in good position despite their defeat. That was their first defeat in the Bundesliga and they are in top eight in the champions league. Although, they had unlucky defeat in the DFB Pokal but I must say they're still having a good season.

Until Bayern Munich lose five games in a row or probably start playing against the club, they are still performing good and doesn't deserve the harsh comments for losing against Mainz. Some of their players are injured and of course, things will not be the same as it was when the full squad was fit and healthy. I assume they place a bet on Bayern Munich to win and they're getting pissed for losing their ticket.

I agree that Bundesliga has been easy to predict lately with teams like Werder Freiburg Bayer, and Monchengladbach winning like expected. Tomorrow games with Dortmund and Stuttgart as teams most likely to win will be interesting to watch. But I also think that Bayern loss to Mainz was important lesson showing that teams need to change their playing style depending on who they are playing against. Mainz played in way that stopped Bayern from playing their usual game and this shows that even strong teams need to be able to adapt and change their plan if they want to win.

It seems Leverkusen is very happy now because they now have a much better situation than before. Leverkusen recently won the game against Augsburg with a 2-0 result and after the three points, they got against this team now Leverkusen got 29 points and they are in second place in the Bundesliga table while Bayern Munich recently lost points against Mainz and they have 33 points. there is still a gap between these two teams and Leverkusen is still far from reaching Kompany and his players but I think this can give them enough motivation to have better performance and try to decrease the gap.

Sometimes things like this happen in football, a good team will be defeated by a team no one expects, that’s what happens to Bayern Munich today. The firm that Bayern Munich is on this season is massive, and Leverkusen started with fatigue and some inconsistent performances, but it seems like Alonso and his players are ready for the game at this moment. Let’s see how the title race will be since Dortmund has given up.
