That would be a big shock for the team, the players and Alonso himself. Let’s wait and see how it goes this coming season before we conclude if he is the mastermind behind the success story, and if he does maintain same momentum even after losing some players then he needs to applauded because i am confident that one or two players will leave the club anad more players will be added.

They should definitely see some of them first team players leaving the club on transfer. The name Jeremy Frimpong has been mentioned notnone not twice as he has been linked with a move to join Manchester United just If Aaron Wan Bisakka leaves the club during the transfer window.

Also, we all saw how porous they was against Atalanta during that finals, I mean the defense, they will be needing some additional players for depth and also upgrades and they will be involved in the Champions League Competition next season. Better depths to with a the test ahead of the new season would be appealing to the management.

About Florian Wirtz, we will see the speculations that will arise during the upcoming Euro's, that will determine if he stays or leaves the club completely and Real Madrid have been top guns chasing him. I will love to see such a top quality midfielder'play with Kylian Mbappe anyways.

The goal was definitely great, and the season is over for Leverkusen. Aside from that ugly loss at Europa, they finished the season 52-1 record which is insane when you think about it. If it was like 48-5 while still winning that two cups, people would have been happier, but because it is 52-1 that means people are looking at that just one result and thinking how unlucky, but the reality is that they did the double and it was a great season.

I think it's quite obvious that we are talking about people who are not really approaching any decent level, there isn't really anything we can consider as bad, this has been quite a good result without a doubt and they should be happy with the season they had, I believe it was amazing.

The regret for today is the failure to keep the unbeaten and terbele winner that was released after they lost an important match against Atalanta that made the record that they had compiled very well must be lost because of 1 defeat.

A good question that is.    On paper, Frankfurt's chance of having a successful run in the Europa League is much higher compared to the Champions League. They even won the Europa League title in the 2021/2022 season you know. However they can make much more money in the Champions League even if they don't do so much. Besides the Champions League format is changing as of next season like I said before. Not everyone is playing against each other even though the format is similar to the league kind. If they get a lucky draw then who knows what happens.

When it comes how realistic Dortmund to beat Real Madrid, not too likely but this is football. 

Two titles are also good enough for Bayer Leverkusen this season because they have never won 2 titles at once in one season, meaning they have broken their first record, even though they failed to win the UEL title, at least they have achieved far and become runners up behind it all. because of Alonso's success in building a strong club and next season we will see how Alonso will handle his club competing in the UCL, will they make history again by winning their first UCL title?

What is clear is that Alonso will compete with other great coaches in big competitions who have smart tactics so Alonso will not have it easy like this season by achieving continuous wins. I am curious whether Bayer Leverkusen will meet Atalanta again next season in the UCL because they will both compete in UCL would be more exciting if they were in the same group

I'm not really sure that next season Xabi Alonso can repeat the achievements they got this season because the habits of a team like this will make it much more difficult to maintain performance like the previous season. It is different from top teams like Bayern Munich because they have much better quality players even though this season they have experienced big failures in all competitions. Bayern Munich just needs to find a coach who has good qualities and their failure this season is much more due to the coach.

Having players come and go is a normal thing in football because there are many clubs that try to monitor the development of the players that Leverkusen has. Xabi Alonso will find it much more difficult to maintain consistency in the best form of play for his team next season because I am sure there are other teams who will try to make changes.

Defending the championship title in the coming season is another thing, and a burden for the future. But Xabi Alonso really created new history for the Bundesliga. He was the first coach in the Bundesliga, previously he only coached Sociedad B. And he broke Bayern Munich's record. After the match against Kaiserslautern on DFB Pokal final match then automatically Leverkusen have completed all of their matches this season and according to their statistics Leverkusen has fantastic records because they can scores 145 goals total in all competitions and only lost once even in Bundesliga their status is still unbeated and people may be will be so curious whether next season Xabi is still can able to managed Leverkusen unbeated records at Bundesliga or not

Congratulations to Alonso and the team on their double win. They are the most in-form team right now. While we hope they continue their great work, next season might not be the same. Many average teams have a good run, develop star players, and then sell them the following season. They often return to their usual level of performance and start losing again. I believe Xabi and the players should take responsibility because today's good decisions build a team that stays at the top for years, not just for one season. A team that fights for every title earns respect from its fans. Without key players, they could fall back to where they were before. Leverkusen should keep their top players because the competition will be tougher next season. Even if they can't keep all their players, at least Xabi Alonso stays, and they should learn from the upcoming challenges.

I still respect Xabi Alonso no matter that they were unable to win Europa league because of his coaching skills which has made him to achieve a record that no coach have achieved throughout the history of Bundesliga. If it happens that Writz is leaving and some other players, he will get a replacement and he knows the player that he will be bringing over that he can do the job.

We might still see a new name from this present Leverkusen squad that will take over the scoring as we have seen that in the past with several clubs. I don't think that it will be a problem for Alonso if he loose some of his players that are after big clubs, he will still build up the team to be as strong as this. However, it will be much better and a relieve to him, if none of his men leaves.

The DFB final match was their last game of the season, but the most interesting thing in my opinion in the final match, was Xhaka beautiful shot from distance that was able to bring victory for Leverkusen in the final match, Xhaka goal in the 16th minute was the only goal created in the game and it seems that what is said by many people today seems to be true,  If players who quit Arsenal finally managed to win their titles at other clubs during this time.

In fact, the DFB Pokal final between Leverkusen and Kaiserslautern was not balanced, where the two teams had different levels of competition and also different consistencies.
