Yeb i was really surprised when i have seen the result between Mainz against Bayern Munich , for sure an unexpected win for Mainz.Its mostly that and nearly in every game that Bayern Munich has the most possession of the ball , but sometimes this means nothing.

I didn't watch this match but I could see the match statistics, as you said Bayern Munich can control the match but the shot effort is always bad from 13 shots only 1 on target while Mainz has 4 on target from 8 shots. In the last 5 matches Bayern Munich missed 4 points and this opens opportunities for Leverkusen to continue to pursue and currently Leverkusen is only 4 points behind this means that Bayern Munich is really unsafe. Imagine if Leverkusen continued to play consistently lke last season.

I did not expected Leverkusen to have this kind of gap, with this loss, the gap is getting closer, it was a lot more back in the day, and now we are seeing them get closer and closer, four points is almost nothing. In any case, I feel like we are going to make a good return without a doubt from betting on Leverkusen, they are on a roll and I do not see anyone being able to stop them. Bayern Munich have failed to realised by now that the atmosphere of the Bundesliga competition have changed from last season after they lost to Bayern Leverkusen for the league title. They should stop underrating any team they’re meeting in the Bundesliga because that’s what will make them to be victorious in most of their matches.
When they begin to underrate some teams over some other teams because they haven’t yet to see their best yet and haven’t performed well this season, that’s when it becomes hard for them to prevail against them and those teams show their best in that match since they know they’ll be facing a tough team, they will not come to play lowly of themself but will play in their best form.
They have lost some points after the lose to Mainz but that has not made them fall short in the league table and they will still be occupying the first place for now. They still have the chance and opportunity to continue their fight for the league title, I hope they don’t fumble again after this opportunity they still have. And in the match later, getting three full points is a must to improve Dortmund's position in the standings. because if they manage to destroy Hoffenheim at Signal Iduna Park, then Dornund's position in the standings will automatically go up to fifth position by shifting Wolfsburg with a collection of 21 points, Bremen and Mainz who both collected 22 points, while for Freiburg even though they have a collection of 24 points, but if Dornund can win the match against Hoffenheim, Freiburg's position will be shifted because they only have a small goal difference.

I agree, Frankfurt will not be able to shock the world and they won't win anything. I agree that we have seen them do nice and all but that was it and I do not think that we are going to see anything further anytime soon, whatever happened has already happened and that was it, we are not going to get anything more from them.Anyway, Leverkusen has been more consistent so far, and they have returned to the top 2 again. And, the point gap with Bayern Munich is getting narrower. Because, Bayern Munich suffered a painful defeat from Mainz, especially this broke the record of unbeaten Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga.

I thought they could finish the season undefeated, but they couldn't. They could have actually won the match, they had a lot of chances and were more dominant in the match, but they were not effective enough offensively and couldn't score.

Munich couldn't do much in this match, Mainz really frustrated them, they managed to thwart every chance Munich had to avoid defeat.The defending champions (Leverkusen) are clinging to the runner-up spot after beating Augsburg, but their position is not completely secure as Frankfurt have the chance to reclaim second place if they win their away game at Leipzig.
Leverkusen's victory brought them closer to Bayern Munich who are now only 4 points away. That is a very risky distance for Bayern Munich, especially when they experience a defeat like they did this week.
Bayern Munich had a hard time breaking through the defense built by Mainz in this match, on the other hand their defense was a little loose which could be utilized well by the hosts.
