Before the 2024/2025 season started, I said that maintaining the record achieved last season was more difficult when they achieved it. Now it's really happening, Leverkusen have dropped too many points and they are starting to fall 6 points behind Munich.

Leverkusen nearly lost this season too early by their terrible beginning but now after two thirds of season, they have came back as a runner up and are still competing for the title with Bayern Munich. This rise shows their strength and this latest hard win with only 10 players, proved that Leverkusen are actually strong, from past season to this one.

It can be considered as not too big difference, not too big difference is different than too small, if the leader is not Bayern Munich, but this club dominate Bundesliga historically and this season too. Expect them losing 6 points in last 14 matches is quite hard condition for Bayer Leverkusen. Bayern Munich is working very hard to stay ahead of Leverkusen and it is exciting to see strong competition happening in league. Leverkusen has become strong team that can challenge Bayern Munich and this is because Dortmund is not as strong as they used to be. Even though Bayern Munich is still the team most likely to win championship Leverkusen has been playing very well and might be able to give Bayern Munich hard time. Season is still long and it will be interesting to see how both teams do in rest of their matches.

It was a well needed change and while Bayer Leverkusen is doing their very best to retain that momentum from last season, I feel like this was just an exception and it will go back to the old normal and Bayern Munich will win Bundesliga title after Bundesliga title. I hope not, but I somehow think that is what's going to happen. Besides that I am sure that Xabi Alonso will end up coaching Bayern Munich because I still doubt that they are satisfied with how Kompany is doing.

3 million Euros is a very good transfer fee for Batshuayi. I think he can be successful in Frankfurt. When Morata came to Galatasaray, it was already understood that he would leave the team. Galatasaray has 3 important forward players with Mauro Icardi, Morata and Osimhen. Bayern Munich is leading with 6 points difference now. Bayern Munich also looks quite consistent in playing every match.
