This match will be the match that we will use to examine the quality of both teams and who is better than the other because they are both strong teams and rivals.

So far, Bayern Munich have won all their four matches with 12 points, and Leverkusen only lost one match and won three making them to be on 9 points and second on the table. It will be a fierce match and if Munich wins the match they wil increase the point gap between them an Leverkusen. On the other hand, if Leverkusen wins they will be on the same point.

I really do not see Bayern Munich to be favorites over Bayer Leverkusen in this match considering what played out last season, moreover the Leverkusen side are not doing really badly this season except for the fact that they lost against leipzig and ever since they have been consistent in winning almost all their matches including their champions league match.

Bayern Munich on the other hand have been enjoying a winning streak so far this season and haven't lost yet and seem ready to contend for the title this season but would have to steal all 3 points from the Leverkusen side which also seem to be a very tedious task for Bayern Munich based on how resilient Xabi Alonso's side have been all the way from the previous season even up to this season.

If Alonso had the squad like Manchester City or Real Madrid, he wouldn’t have faced any kind of problems and could have done much better.
With the squad that he had in the last season, nobody expected him to win the league But he still ended up winning the Bundesliga title, right?

Yes, I can't deny that the start of this season has not been the best. But it also has not been so bad that we need to start criticizing him already, right? We have to understand that his tactics are well-known by the other clubs and coaches already. So it is obviously going to be hard for him to replicate the same level of performance that he did in the last season.

Stuttgart was one of the best teams in the German Bundesliga last season so it's understandable that they defeated Borussia Dortmund in their over the weekend but what was actually surprising about the result of the goal margin that Stuttgart used in beating the last season UCL finalists. MHP Arena has always been a fortress for Stuttgart and I don't think they'll ever want to allow themselves to beaten at home by other teams.

Considering the performance and results of Bayern Munich since the start of the season, I don't think it's actually ideal to compare them against Bayer Leverkusen using Bayern Munich's results of last season. Bayern Munich have easily been the best German team since the start of the season and that's why I think they'll get the better of Bayer Leverkusen when they meet each other this weekend.

Yes, I agree both teams have the same chance. Their first meeting this season is what we are waiting for, this will be a tactical battle for both coaches. And so far Munich looks more consistent and even their goal productivity is extraordinary in their last 2 matches, Kompany's troops are much more prepared in this match, on the other hand Alonso's team still has shortcomings in the defense line he has not been able to fix it they have conceded 9 goals Leverkusen must work harder in this match. Reflecting on all this I am more favoring Munich to win.

Nothing surprised me from Stuttgart beating Dortmund 5-1. It's all Nuri's fault for experimenting with his squad. And i hate him. I hate the way he was experimenting with his squad. This was because he was playing his players not in their actual positions.

It's very weird to see him put Sclotterbeck at LB, Sabitzer at RW/RM with Beier, and Gittens on the bench. That's insane. It feels like he is trying to be "tactical geniuses" with his weird formation.

It's been a whole lot of anticipations as to what we should be expecting from Saturday games, and that has been why the conversation about this has not persisted as everyone has been really discussing about this rivals because they have been of awesome performance this season but I still think that if Bayer loose that game, it's not all that will determine how well they are going to perform through our the season because beyond this game are other games they will be playing so they literally still have a chance and if like last session they loose only this and win every other games, they are most likely to stay ahead especially if  Bayern Munich do not stay consistent with their winning and maintaining a win with other games.

What happened in the Dortmund match was a reflection of regression, being slaughtered by Stuttgart was far from what I expected. Although indeed Stuttgart seemed to vent their bad results in the UCL to Dortmund. Actually, even the first half was enough to explain that there was no need to continue to the second half. The mentality of the Dortmund players had fallen, the single goal that was created would not change anything so Stuttgart just played relaxed in the second half because they knew their lead would be difficult to catch by Dortmund.

At the moment I'm realistic, there are a lot of chances for both teams. Bayern Munich will try to win to stay at the top and Leverkusen I think will work hard. Bayern Munich's advantage is that they are at home, their mental condition is also good.  Leverkusen I think it's the same, but the record of always winning has been broken. The current condition is quite different from last season. I'm a little more confident Munich can surprise. The facts of Munich players statistically look better. It was a big game and Kompany's first test for a big game. His ability will be seen from the results of this match.

A team as big as Dortmund, even though they haven't found their best game, they shouldn't lose with a score like that, it's questionable why Dortmund is like that this season. I actually feel Dortmund is worse than last year, in this match they fired two shots on goal throughout the match. Even though Stuttgart is not the first ranked team, or even the top five ranked team, how will Dortmund be when they play against strong teams in the Bundesliga.

Nuri Sahin not only has to improve himself immediately but he also has to be given pressure from the club if he doesn't improve his team immediately he will be fired. Because Dortmund's biggest problem is that they can't handle the pressure, they don't have an answer and give up easily. Then they lose confidence and Dortmund's defense line is very bad in this match, they let the opposing players always have full freedom in the penalty area.

So I think Dortmund should give a warning to their coach to improve himself immediately if he doesn't change immediately he will be fired immediately. Because Dortmund needs a coach who dares to make decisions and can make his players not give up easily.

This match was really very interesting and tough and it was difficult for both teams to win because both teams were strong at that time.  It was their hard work and because of that they won this league. If any team works hard and plays with the intention of winning the match and puts all their effort into it, then that team definitely wins the match and that includes Leverkusen.  were  And in this match too, we got to see the same performance and hard work.  Yes, I have seen and heard the performance of Bayern Munich, but they lost to Leverkusen in this league as well.  But I didn't find Leverkusen that strong in this match, but I had a misunderstanding.  Leverkusen proved to be good and strong in this match and Bayern Munich are considered in this league but I will still put Leverkusen ahead because they scored 3 goals in the whole match and Bayern Munich didn't see a single goal.

Stuttgart seems to want to tell that they will still surprise this season just like before and the decision to sell Guirassy to Dortmund who was one of the key players in Stuttgart last season does not make them a bad club in terms of productivity.   I don't think anyone would have expected a score like this to happen even though I also didn't bet here because i knew that both situations were still tired after playing the Champions League but i also didn't feel that the score would be this big because my initial prediction was a draw or playing with a thin advantage but the opposite happened.

The first half of Dortmund was completely destroyed where they seemed to lose confidence in controlling the ball which in the end the Stuttgart players were quite free in developing the game including creating opportunities that could be converted into goals because of 2 quick goals in the 20 minutes of the first half.

I was smiling when i readed that with the atom of energy as it really describes it how that match was between Stuttgart against Dortmund.
Looks like that Stuttgart has done there homework and played very good and 5 Goals is a huge number.
There are no excuses for Dortmund , but hopefully they learned something from that defeat and making it better next weekend on friday against Bochum..

Yes, I see that this season there is a drastic improvement from Bayern Munich, I do not know about what Kompany has implemented in his new squad but what is certain is that I think by seeing how Bayern Munich's journey in facing this season I think it explains everything. I can't underestimate Leverkusen because they have only lost once, or I mean I haven't seen how their performance is overall, we have to see them compete against a top class team like Bayern Munich, and next Saturday we will see the match held which is a long-awaited match, Kompany will play at home and I think against Xabi Alonso's squad, meaning Bayern Munich is superior in this match and the worst is yes as you said friend, namely sharing points, but in any case Bayern Munich must try their best to secure full points in this match, because in any case now their points difference is quite thin with Leverkusen and several other teams in the top 4 area, but I am sure Kompany will not disappoint the fans at home.

Borrusia Dortmund management caused every single thing happening to the club, they've been selling out their potential talents, we're talking about talents that would have changed everything for the club for the better. Their growth would have been exceedingly increasing in every elite tournaments and performance development. It's still amazing to me, Borrusia Dortmund conceded 5 goals is definitely unacceptable and it's their first defeats of the 2024/2025 Bundesliga season.

Every good football analyst will be able to tell you that they do not expect Bayern leverkusen to be as consistent as they were last season. Such record as unbeating throughout the season is not something that is achieved twice consecutively. I did not actually expect Xavi Alonso and his boys to perform as good as they did last season, I do not also expect them to be able to retain the Bundesliga title, but it is obviously what they can do. My expectation of them is to be able to win individual matches against big clubs both in Bundesliga and in the Champions League, also I expect them to be the Champions or runner up of the Bundesliga and proceed very far in the Champions League. If Bayern if Bayern Leverkusen is able to do the above, they are good and that will mark their strong stand as a big team in both Germany and Europe at large.

Last season Leverkusen performed very perfectly unbeaten and they were able to end the season as a team with a few concedes, but after being able to maintain a 35-game unbeaten run in the league but in begin this season they must to end that positive trend at the hands of Leipzig, although they failed to maintain an unbeaten record but I think Leverkusen is still the favorite team as a title contender this season.
The match against Bayern Munich next week will be a test of consistency for Leverkusen and also the first test for Kompany by facing a strong team in the Bundesliga, I think the match will be a game full of revenge from Munich after in the last few games Munich failed to beat Leverkusen, although the result of the match will not affect their chances of get trophy because a still long season, but of course victory will be very important in order to improve the mentality of the two teams later.

I am not really surprised by the result of this match, in fact I favored Stuttgart in last night's match. Although Stuttgart's performance has declined quite a bit, because some of their key players left, Sebastian Hoeness is much more experienced than Nuri Sahin. Clearly, in this match we see that Nuri Sahin has not been able to maximize his team when playing against a fairly competitive opponent.
