One would have expected that their success in the Bundesliga would give them confidence to at least attempt to come closer to the top teams in European club competition.
Normaly that should be the case when you just behind 3 points to Bayern Munich in the german league that you have some self confidence for other games.
On the other hand the Champions League is not the german league and all the teams there playing different.

Not winning any of their four matches clearly indicates that perhaps Leipzig aren't fully equipped to handle the intensity and compact shape of teams in European competition.
Now, perhaps the focus should be to get back to winning ways in the Bundesliga and keep the momentum going so they can continue to challenge at the highest level.
Yeb its abit unlucky that they not won a single game in the CL but as long if they keep up playing good in the german league they still can fight for the title.
Maybe we will see a other Leipzig team against Gladbach at the coming weekend.

Leipzig seemed nervous when they were in the UCL, maybe because they were not ready for the UCL atmosphere, making their performance very different from when they played in the Bundesliga. 0 points from four matches makes Leipzig's chances of qualifying for the next round very small, they should focus more on the Bundesliga because sooner or later they will have to leave the UCL.
Leipzig lacks experience in the UCL competition so it is very natural that they have difficulty and have never won a single victory from the 4 matches, meaning the chance of qualifying for the next phase is very slim, especially in the next 4 matches they have to face a team that has shown good performance in the UCL, only Sturm is a balanced opponent. So it would be better to focus now on the Bundesliga which has proven to have gone through this season very well, perched in 2nd position in the standings, opening up an opportunity for Leipzig to win the championship even though I know it is too difficult but by looking at Leverkusen last season anything can be possible.

If experience is the factor that is assumed the reason behind Leipzig losing then Bayern Munich should not lose a single game since they are too much experienced, and UCL is a tournament they regularly play in. But, three games later, Bayern has won only one game. Thus it can be said that just experience does not guarantee a win. Besides, other factors like the conditions of the team, the strategies adapted to the match, and the general performance of the players also add up to it.

Leverkusen is an intriguing case. Just back into the UCL contest, they performed pretty well- two wins, one loss, and one draw. It goes to prove a blend of the correct strategy and maintaining performance can work wonders. Experience matters, but then so does the ability to adjust and most importantly seize opportunities on the field.

It is really unfortunate that the Bundesliga second-placed team couldn’t carry their domestic form onto the Champions League. One would have expected that their success in the Bundesliga would give them confidence to at least attempt to come closer to the top teams in European club competition. Yet, alas, their level of performance at the European stage fell short of expectations. Four straight losses tell a clear tale of a side that is finding it difficult to measure up with the very vest best on the continent - a stark contrast to the dominance they’ve shown in domestic play.

Not winning any of their four matches clearly indicates that perhaps Leipzig aren't fully equipped to handle the intensity and compact shape of teams in European competition. However, they can take that as a lesson from the experiences gained and improve for the upcoming season. Now, perhaps the focus should be to get back to winning ways in the Bundesliga and keep the momentum going so they can continue to challenge at the highest level.

The Champions League is a bit complicated this season, and Leipzig's participation seems very difficult despite their form in the Bundesliga.

Leipzig has lost all four Champions League games which is a very poor performance for them in the Champions League even though all their opponents are big teams with better Champions League experience than Leipzig. They have played against Atletico Madrid, Liverpool, Juventus, and Celtic FC; they lost all four games even though I expected them to have at least five points in the game, but they couldn't even win Celtic despite their performance in the Bundesliga this season.

It will be very difficult for Leipzig to make it to the round of 16 because I don't think they can win all their remaining matches. Even if they win their remaining matches, I don't expect them to move up to sixteenth place in the Champions League table because there are other big teams struggling to move up to that spot. However, I will advise them to maintain their consistency in the Bundesliga.

I'm not sure if Marco Rose or the club will remain focused on insisting on qualifying from the Champions League group stage, they have lost 4 times in the competition. I don't know what made their performance so inconsistent in the UCL, or they are not performing optimally in the competition. To be honest, most of what I watch are big teams competing in the UCL. It could be that RB Leipizig really doesn't target anything in the UCL, I mean qualifying for the next round. Or, some players who left affected their performance in a much more prestigious competition. Besides, it's hard to sweep the remaining matches with a win for them. Next, Leipiz will visit the San Siro, Inter's home base, and Aston Villa is not an easy opponent. If they lose again, their hopes of qualifying for the next phase are gone. So, Marco Rose should focus on the Bundesliga competition while restoring the team's confidence after losing to Dortmund and Celtic in last night's match. Their two opponents in the Bundesliga should be a momentum to restore the team's spirit, while maintaining their position or equaling points from Bayern Munich. Even so, if Munich stumbles in their Bundesliga match this week, then the club's better option would be to focus on the Bundesliga rather than targeting wins in their remaining UCL matches.

Bayern Munich's chances of winning the Champions League title are getting smaller after experiencing 2 unexpected defeats, rather than chasing a title that is very difficult to achieve, it is better to chase the title they are used to getting. Bundesliga is Bayern Munich's dominant and this club lost its title last season so I think this season Bayern Munich will get back what was lost because it seems Leverkusen is not as strong as last season and I think Leipzig will not be able to stop Bayern Munich.

And thanks to the victory of Bayern Munich and Dortmund I won the bet as well as not forgetting Frankfurt who performed impressively against Bochum by scoring many goals quite satisfied with the final result of this weekend's match.

I would not rule out Bayern Munich's hopes of winning this season's German Bundesliga. Most teams in hot pursuit of the crown do not have the same level of quality that Bayern possesses. For example, Bayer Leverkusen has not yet lived up to expectations in this current Bundesliga campaign and is experiencing a dip in form, possibly due to minor injuries affecting key players. Similarly, Borussia Dortmund and VfL Stuttgart face their own challenges; Stuttgart sold their star player to Dortmund and is trying to assemble a team capable of winning the Bundesliga.

Bayern has indeed turned the German Bundesliga into a personalized league, and I’m confident they will be the ones to win it this time around. I don’t think we will see a repeat of last season, when Bayern's rivals Bayer Leverkusen lifted the trophy. Bayern has made some vital adjustments and has firmly established themselves as the eventual winners of this season's league.

The way Bayern Munich is playing this season suggests that they will be the favorites to win the season, and Harry Kane will undoubtedly achieve his aim if the team continues to cooperate as effectively as they are. Leverkusen is weak in the ucl these days and am sure even the league even he will be very difficult for them to win, and Xabi Alonso can't help the team to win the Champions League because of the way they play against Liverpool. I didn't believe Liverpool would get such an opportunity against Leverkusen because they have a better coach in the club, but that is football, you can't just be winning anytime you might lose one day. Manchester City and Real Madrid lost their matches yesterday, so that is football if they say they will lose that yesterday I don't think anyone will believe that.

Bayern Munich will face Benfica tonight, and Munich is the favorite to win, but Benfica is also doing well they have the potential to shock the fans and defeat Munich, as happened with Manchester City vs. Sporting, because no one expects Manchester City to lose 4-1. Guadiola had a rough day, losing in the league, cup, and Champions League all in a row.

I totally agree with what you said, if leipzig can't seem to adapt in the UCL this season, their performance which is inversely proportional in the UCL compared to the bundesliga certainly shows if they are very nervous, I think the atmosphere in the UCL is very different compared to the domestic league so not all teams can easily undergo the existing competition, even not only leipzig are currently slumped in the UCL even teams like munich are also very difficult to overcome the UCL tightness, so I think leipzig should indeed focus on the Bundesliga for now, because their hopes of competing in the UCL are very small, but they look more dominant when playing in the bundesliga, so they can focus more of their energy and strategy to improve their position in the bundesliga.

That's why the Champions League is often dominated by strong teams that mentally have the ability to compete. Leipzig and Munich may not be weak in the Bundesliga, they can perform very well. but when they compete in the Champions League, with the atmosphere of the fans and also the resistance from the opponents that will certainly give different pressure. Leipzig faces strong teams in the Champions League, if they are not able to compete. maybe they can perform better and focus on the Bundesliga while preparing for the next Champions League season.

Leipzig Champions League campaign has been nothing but disappointment so far. Tonight, they've lost they're 4th UCL game in a row and are occupying 31st place with zero points. At least they'll be able to focus on the league.
Can't say the same about Dortmund, who earned another 3 points today by defeating Sturm Graz 1-0 with a late goal by Malen (in the 85th minute). Borussia is on a good way to advance to the next stage straight away, without playoffs.

I think Bayern Munich's competitors this season are no longer Leverkusen, Stuttgart or Dortmund because their performance in the Bundesliga does not look so stable, unlike last season, but there are still Leipzig and Frankfurt who seem to be Bayern's competitors this season, seen from their more impressive performances and they are also quite close to Bayern Munich at the top of the standings. But I don't thinking any of them can win the Bundesliga title like Leverkusen did last season because honestly I still have doubts, maybe those clubs just want to put pressure on Bayern Munich at the top of the standings.
Definitely not Leverkusen this season, all the mentioned clubs are no where near Bayern Munich and the only team trailing Bayern Munich at the moment is Leipzig and they are 3 points behind them so i think the competition is between these two teams even though we know it will be difficult for Leipzig to win the league as Leverkusen did. Leverkusen are not at their best this season they are struggling at the moment and they have dropped a lot of points this season already, everyone thought they would imitate their performance from last season but unfortunately they are far from it.

And you even wonder were Leipzig and Frankfurt are getting the energy from to actually, and they are closely following Bayern and they don't want to give them breathing space and Leipzig own is even worse because Bayern is leading them with just three point and if they should win any game then they have addition of three point so their is a chance that they will continue to shake the table until the season ends.
Every season there is always a team that train Bayern Munich and tries to win the title but only Leverkusen have succeeded recently, they always lack the consistency and i don’t think Leipzig will be up to the task this season especially not when Bayern failed to win it last season they can’t afford to lose the trophy two seasons on a row.

Moreover, currently only Leipzig and Frankfurt are Bayern Munich's competitors, while Leverkusen and Dortmund are unstable this season. This will of course benefit Bayern Munich because teams like Leipzig and Frankfurt in terms of squad and mentality cannot possibly be consistent until the end of the season.

Luckily for Munich, Leipzig lost to Dortmund. On the contrary, Munich was able to win. This situation is in Munich's favor, they have a point difference. Of course, the condition of this result makes Munich a team that has never lost to 17 other teams. Munich is still great enough for the League. Later they will compete against Benfica in UCL, they have only 1 win in 3 matches. This condition makes them worse than Benfica in the ranking table.
Bayern Munich can take advantage of this very well, so that a gap is created between their points, now they are leading with a gap after in the previous week they were leading without a gap in points, only superior in goal productivity. This season they have a great opportunity to return their lost title last season, and indeed that is their target this season. However, they also cannot comfortably sit at the top of the standings, because with the tighter competition it really makes their position unsafe. They must ensure that they are consistent enough to continue to win every match they will play in the Bundesliga to maintain their position.

It is very natural for Leipzig to be nervous in the UCL match because this team has just appeared so defeat for them is normal even though the result of 4 matches is 0 points. Hopes of continuing in the last 16 of the UCL have fallen this year. We can't look at the domestic league, but how Leipzig struggled in the Bundesliga to be able to appear in the UCL is extraordinary, isn't it? Dortmund's team is very experienced in the UCL and they can even beat representatives from the English League, the Spanish League as well as big teams that appear in the UCL. Leipzig must be able to win all the remaining matches in the UCL in order to move on to the next stage and I think that's unlikely to happen. .

It was a big win for Celtic against the German side. Brendan Rodgers the former Leicester City manager is an exceptional coach. He failed to replicate his performance a few seasons after he won the EPL with Leicester. But it is looking like he has done a great job in Celtic. They are currently in the number-one position in the Scottish Premiership and have seven points in the UCL after winning two games, losing one and drawing one.

RB Leipzig still has the opportunity of making it to the next round in the Champions League if they can put in more effort. I know that they have not won any game but if they can win other games they might qualify. They are doing well in the Bundesliga but making it to the next UCL round will bring money to the club so they should put in more effort.

Looking at the current Bundesliga standings because of the return of Bayern Munich's strength, and the proof of coach Kompany who was previously underestimated by football observers. Kompany will finally become Pep Guardiola's successor, the Mancity legend is one of the best coaches because so far he has succeeded in making Bayern Munich have motivation and chemistry between coach and player. Although in the Champions League they are slumping, I think they will slowly rise again.

Currently, if you look at Bayern Munich in terms of their squad, it is quite good, it's just lacking in the goalkeeper sector, Neuer is old and prone to injury while his only backup is Ulrich. Sane also plays like that, that's how it is, not to mention his defender Upamecano who often makes blunders. That's all Kompany needs to fix so that Bayern Munich can win the Bundesliga Trophy so that it becomes the most beautiful gift for Harry Kane.

Since this is Kompany's first time managing a big club and still competing in the Champions League, I will not hold him responsible for their poor performance. However, I do believe that Kompany will succeed with Bayern Munich, but he will need some more time to get used to the league and the Champions League system, which is a new format compared to the previous one where a club would play against weak teams in the group stage.

Kompany has an issue with the majority of his current players, which he must fix, if they do not want to add more players, he must at least improve how easily they can avoid errors that lead to conceding goals. Neuer is old, and I'm not sure why the Bayern Munich management relied on him so much, the goalkeeper made some errors in the Champions League match against Barcelona. They did not rely on Sané as a left winger, which is why they bought Michael Olise before the start of the season.

Leipzig lacked the quality players to be relied on throughout the season, they lost to Dortmund and Increased to three points behind Bayern Munich. I hope Bayern Munich maintains this winning streak so that Kompany will calm the doubts of those who think he will not achieve anything in his Bayern Munich debut and Kane may lift his first ever professional trophy.

I saw Leipzig's performance in the Champions League. Leipzig's lack of interest in the Champions League is evident from their performances. I have never seen Leipzig play well in a Champions League match. Leipzig have lost all four of their Champions League matches. And I have not seen Leipzig's players perform well even against weak teams. Leipzig lost against teams like Celtic in yesterday's match. In this match I at least thought that Leipzig would be able to win.

However, Leipzig should give their full effort in Bundesliga matches. Then maybe Leipzig will be able to compete for the title. Although Leipzig have performed well since the start of the season, their last match loss against Dortmund has left them a bit behind in the competition. Leipzig will not be able to dominate the Bundesliga if they cannot continue their winning streak.

Bayern Munich is in a very strong position. Leipzig are now 3 points behind Bayern Munich. If this gap increases further, it will no longer be possible for Leipzig to occupy the top spot in the table.

The defeat suffered by Leipzig when facing Dortmund is very beneficial for Bayern Munich because they can make a three-point difference from Leipzig for the first place in the standings and conversely Dortmund has the opportunity to shift Frankfurt and Leverkusen in the next match. Bayern Munich is the most consistent team in the Bundesliga and this is still a good season after previously failing to defend the championship.

For the Champions League, Bayern Munich experienced two bad matches where they lost to Aston Villa and Barcelona. Facing Benfica must be a turning point for Bayern Munich to get a win because it will be a step for them to get out of the pressure in the Champions League.
