I'm not underestimating Dortmund, but I'm pessimistic about them if they challenge for the Bundesliga title because we can see in the last few seasons that the Dortmund team doesn't seem to be seriously built for that.
Bayern Munich will of course rise again to win the title, their failure last season is a lesson to be better next season and it must be admitted that next season the competition will be much fiercer and Bayern's dominance has been interrupted by several teams. which has started to rise, especially Leverkusen, especially Leverkusen coach Xabi Alonso has decided to stay, which means it is very likely that their performance will improve even more next season.

When it comes to who their next manager would be, I think Nuri Şahin or Roger Schmidt should be considered. Nuri Şahin spent so many of his years at Dortmund as a footballer and he has been assistant manager for six months as well.

Roger Schmidt managed Leverkusen in the Bundesliga before and his first two seasons were decent. Apart from that he has a decent career with titles at different teams in different leagues too.

IMO, Dortmund will not be on the list for the Bundesliga title in the next season because Edin Terzic departure will have a big impact on Dortmund performance and on the one hand, I actually choose Stuttgart who will be the next challenger because we all know that Stuttgart still has Guirassy who is very reliable to continue to get points in every match even though it seems strange to say that Stuttgart will be a competitor to Bayern Munich and Leverkusen but in fact after the arrival of Guirassy, Stuttgart had success finishing in second place displacing Bayern Munich.

What is clear is that Leverkusen will not be too hasty in making decision regarding Jonathan release at the end of this season, but for next season, perhaps Jonathan will really leave.
There are still many opportunities for Leverkusen to achieve success next season and of course they will not make careless decisions at the end of this season in order to maintain the stability of their performance.

Bayern Munich is not alone in challenging defending champions Leverkusen next season, because Dortmund is also building new foundations after Edin Terzig resigned from his post. The competition becomes more competitive if Stuttgart and Leipzig are directly involved in the hunt for trophies, and these five clubs will be faced with another challenge, namely playing in the Champions League. Dortmund played very well in the first half of the match, but they lost focus in the second half of the match. However, I agree that they were playing quite well although they must be defeated by Real Madrid. Everyone can understand it because Real Madrid has a better quality of the players, meanwhile Dortmund just played with mostly unpopular players.

I'm still surprised that Edin Terzic should leave Dortmund because Dortmund performed quite well although they won 0 trophy. I think Edin Terzic has done a good job with Dortmund, the can keep Dortmund in the top 5 in Bundesliga and still can play in UCL in the next season. Although he failed to win UCL trophy, he can try again. If Edin Terzic stays, Dortmund won't be so difficult to improve the squad because Edin Terzic knows well Dortmund players. But since he decided to leave, Dortmund needs to hire a new coach. Sure, this will being a direct impact, no guarantee a new coach can fit with the players. I even doubt Dortmund can't reach the semi-final of UCL and may end up the season out of top 5 next season. It is very unfortunate to see him leaving the team.

I was also surprised and disappointed by Terzic's resignation from Dortmund because I know Terzic is a true Dortmund fan. Maybe he feels like he's gone as far as he can, or maybe it's true that he wants to find a new challenge. Sometimes in my opinion, an ordinary coach can shine when in charge of Dortmund, an EPL club may need to occasionally take a coach from a German club, because usually German coaches always make things easy for their players. I hope Terzic will coach an EPL team, and Dormund also get a better replacement.

Even though Dortmund did not perform well this season in the Bundesliga after finishing in fifth place. However, Dortmund actually managed to reach the UCL league final even though they were defeated by Real Madrid in the final. However, for me, Edin Terzic has not failed in coaching Dortmund because he has represented the German team playing in the UCL league and made the Bundesliga have five UCL league slots for next season.

Bayern Munich will want to get back what they lost last season,which is the tittle,as well as Dortmund who came close to winning it last year before Bayern  came to snatch everything.From the beginning of this season,Bayern had already known what was their major problem last season,and they  are trying  to sought it out.They have identified the weak positions in the team and try to improve.They need to do this before they would  go out for preseason.
As for Leverkusen,I know even if they would fall,it won't be like they would fall from up to bottom of the table,They would still be either at third position or second position.

Terzic has long dedicated his energy to Borussia Dortmund, even though he has only been head coach of Borussia Dortmund for a few seasons. just like you, I was also quite surprised by the decision, even I just read this post. I haven't tried to dig up any information regarding his decision, but as reported by Romano, he feels that Dortmund needs a new figure as his replacement. although as we know, Terzic's job is not easy with the coming and going of the players they released for high prices. However, Dortmund is still a team that is always in the top four in the Bundesliga. It is possible that, because this season Dortmund did not finish in the top four of the Bundesliga and failed in the Champions League Final, this coach chose to step down from the BVB coaching chair. Terzic's two seasons were very close to the trophy, in the 2022-23 season, they are very close to breaking Bayern Munich's dominance. In the 2023-24 season, Terzic was able to bring his team to the Champions League Final even though in the end they failed to win the trophy. However, his work and dedication should be appreciated as a coach who is still considered young.

Talking about Nuri Sahin, as we know, he is not a qualified coach with experience. in fact, he previously served as Edin Terzic's assistant. However, it seems that he has been prepared to become Dortmund coach if at any time Terzic leaves Signal Iduna Park. but we'll see who will replace Terzic later. Their were various reasons why they were defeated starting from experience Madrid know their way around they know how they can win the Champions League because they have won it a lot of times.

I wonder why Edin Terzic will resign. Maybe his tired of governing the club. And he feels he might not be getting result. But ever the reason might be. And if it is because they did not win the Champion league it is nothing new, is not everytime you get what you want.

Noting drains Dortmund down like the resignations of Edin Terzic, they never expected that, and that is a big challenge to Dortmund because Terzic has already played a very important role in the team that brings them to such success, which, if he is not their manager anymore, might significantly bring them back to their former performance, and that will add up to more challenges for them again.

Dortmund needs a lot presently to achieve a desirable result. There is a need to reorganise the team. If possible,
Dortmund should appoint more talented players and, more importantly, new managers that will be able to take the team to a high level. I don’t think they can still make it to the Champions League finals without Terzic, but we don’t know who will be their needed manager. Maybe he will do more than Terzic. We don’t yet know.

Dortmund not winning the champions league trophy against Rthe eal Madrid was actually a big disappointment to me because after taking out time to rewatch the game from the first 45 minutes I think the team failed to capitalize on the opportunities they created to get easy goals because to me most of the chances they wasted should have been converted to goals. Dortmund had a bad performance in their league and that resulted to them not being among the top4 but winning the chsmpions league would have paved the way and given them the automatic ticket for champions league qualification so I think the coach had to step down since he couldn't help the team to get better in the league and losing the champions league is also another big trophy that would have given him the morale to remain as the coach of the Dortmund team but right now I think his decision should be respected and the team should be encouraged to get better under the assistance coach.

Edin Terzic may feel that this is the right time to rest for a while, he has given his best for Dortmund, and for his performance so far Edin Terzic deserves praise. Defeat in the Champions League final was indeed disappointing, and finishing in 5th place in the Bundesliga standings was also disappointing, but I don't think that made his position depressed in front of the club leadership. Edin Terzic himself asked the club to evaluate his performance, which can be interpreted as in his view, it is time for Dortmund to start a new start with another manager.

It seems Edin Terzić the coach of Dortmund is going to start working in this team and he is going to leave the team for another team in the next season.
