I think when it comes to things like this, Dortmund always makes a good decision, and that is why they have been known for this. However, do you think Dortmund are going to be a very big challenge for Bayern next season? Furthermore, we have two Bayern in the Bundesliga competition, so are you talking about Leverkusen or Bayern Munich since those are the two Bayern we have? However, if you are talking about Munich, I don’t think Bayern Munich will be a very challenging for Dortmund, but Bayern Leverkusen will definitely be a challenge for Dortmund. Bayern Munich have a new coach, and their performance will definitely go back before they get strong again.
For many years Dortmund has always failed to beat Bayern Munich in the title race and until now Bayern Munich is still a strong competitor for Dortmund even though currently the Bundesliga is a little different because there are the addition of other strong competitors such as Bayer Leverkusen, Stuttgart and also Leipzig, they will show their best according to them so you are wrong if you think Bayern Munich is not a big challenge, basically this club still has a very strong performance in the Bundesliga and has the best players in it so Dortmund will not have an easy time facing Bayern Munich.
We'll see which one will be stronger next season, Bayern Munich with its new coach and Dortmund with its new coach, they also both have minimal experience in their managerial careers.

First of all there are no 2 Bayern in the Bundesliga. One of them is Bayern Munich and the other is Bayer Leverkusen.  Smiley

About your question on Dortmund against Bayern Munich, it is difficult to be 100% sure of anything of course. Dortmund has a new coach, Nuri Şahin. I'm curiously waiting for how much impact this young manager will make on the team. But considering the time period so far, they haven't been much of a big challenge for years. Only in the 22/23 season I can say. Dortmund were going for the title you know but made a huge mistake on the final week.  Sad

I don't really know why many people think that Bayern Munich's performances will decline or will not improve under Kompany as head coach next season. Kompany is not that experienced as a coach, but that shouldn't mean we judge him negatively. It would be better to allow the season to start and see their performances before rating Kompany as a poor coach. As for me, I believe that Bayern Munich will surely be in the race for winning the Bundesliga trophy next season. Bayern Munich will be a great challenge for Leverkusen, not to mention Dortmund. In fact, from my observation, I can't say if Dortmund will even be a good contender for next season's Bundesliga trophy, but let's see what happens.
In my opinion, why do many people think that Bayern Munich performance will decline or not improve under Kompany as head coach next season, because it is not yet time for Kompany to become a manager at a club as big as Bayern Munich and they have just failed to win the Bundesliga after dominating as champions for 11 consecutive years. It's natural that many people think Kompany's appointment was a blunder or panic decision made by Bayern Munich management because they seemed to be breaking their own tradition of always looking for quality coaches after failing to win the title. 12 years ago, precisely when Dortmund won the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich immediately made the best decision by appointing Jupp Heynkes as head coach, the result was that Bayern Munich immediately became champions again.

Before appointing Kompany as coach, Bayern Munich management really wanted Xabi Alonso as coach, but he refused and chose to stay with Leverkusen. The names Julian Nagelsmann and Ralf Ragnick also appeared on Bayern Munich radar, but they also rejected the offer, so Kompany is an alternative to Xabi Alonso, Julian Nagelsmann and Ralf Ragnick. Bayern Munich is taking a gamble with Kompany, he has the potential to become a great coach and Bayern Munich could get out of decline, but the risks are also very high. Hopefully this assumption is wrong and Kompany can improve Bayern Munich performance to win the Bundesliga again so that Harry Kane immediately ends his curse without a title next season.

It looks like Joel Matip will leave Liverpool as a free agent and Bayer could sign this player, at least they really hope so. I think that for Liverpool this is not the best option to let go the player as a free agent, but apparently they will have to do it. He was a central defender for Liverpool for eight seasons, and if they knew that they would not renew his contract, they could at least sell him, I think there would be interest in him on the transfer market. And for Bayer’s defense this could be a good reinforcement, in the upcoming season it looks like their confrontation with Bayern will not be very easy.

Fabrizio Romano

Matip had a very serious injury last season which lasted more than half a year.  Sad

He was already an injury-prone player and the last injury must be enough for Liverpool to decide upon releasing him. They can surely find a good replacement if they would like.

However Matip can still be a good rotation player for Leverkusen if they are serious about him. Currently there are 6 CBs in the squad already though. I don't know how often Matip would find chances but it would be better than being free agent for him. Xabi Alonso's team have been doing incredible things in the end.  Smiley

I'm still gutted that an injury has ruined Matip's moment in the end of his contract in liverpool. Finding a good replacement for him is hard. It's hard because you won't find a free agent who can play as well as him for 7 - 8 years. The chance is still there, but it's rare.
Surely Matip is one of the best frees ever. What a player. I can't believe it's been 8 years since he joined Liverpool. Finally, he leaves the Reds after many great moments. The only problem is Matip is too injury-prone, and im doubting his career even in the new club.
It's the most difficult task for Liverpool to find someone who mastered the offside trap like him.

I think Leverkusen may be thinking twice about signing him. He is leaving for free from Liverpool. But, Leverkusen must worry about Matip's injury-prone past.
It will be sad if we are gonna see him miss so many matches like the last season in Liverpool. But a move to Leverkusen is good for Matip because of that, he can still play at the pro-scene in bundesliga.

De Ligt's move to Manchester United seems to be experiencing problems with Bayern Munich still insisting on the fees that Manchester United must pay if they want to recruit the player from the Netherlands. It is not surprising that Bayern Munich is putting pressure on Manchester United because they know that the English club has a strong interest in De Ligt and also has very good finances. So Bayern Munich will not hesitate to do it and now it depends on how this transfer will proceed or not.

Apart from that, if De Ligt's transfer fails, Bayern Munich will also abandon their intention to sign Jonathan Tah from Leverkusen. Even though some time ago there was absolute interest between Jonathan Tah and Bayern Munich to immediately complete this transfer, everything was hampered by the transfer of De Ligt which had not yet reached a consensus.

De Ligt is still very young and his quality is very good, so it is natural that Bayern wants a high fee and also the great interest from Manchester United can be used by Bayern to get more fresh money from this transfer.
The transfer period is still quite long and I am quite sure that De Ligt's transfer will be realized because on the other hand Bayern are also quite interested in bringing in Jonathan Tah.
Manchester United are indeed open to bringing in a new center back, but they are also having a very difficult time with the high demands that the Munich management has made on De Ligt In fact, De Ligt is still very strong in defense, especially since he has worked with Ten Hag, so it is easy to adapt to Man United's strategy. , but currently Man United themselves are finalizing their agreement with Manuel Ugarte so they will spend more money so I don't think they will bring in De Ligt because they can't sell some of their players to increase their finances.

However, if Munich lowers the price a little, Man United will certainly consider it, but Ineos itself wants younger players to make long-term investments, so I don't think this deal will be reached.

I agree that Serhou Guirassy showed an impressive very good performance last season and that Dortmund was very lucky as there was a few other Europe Top Clubs to get Guirassy.
Even i am a big fan about Füllkrug and Haller i guess that one of them will be leaving the Club.
Donyell Malen and Guirassy together can be very good combination for Dortmund to get fast forward on the field.
Dortmund continues to strengthen the team, it’s a pity that they were left without Terzic, but apparently he played his role in this team. All of Dortmund's new transfers look very good as always, and this is not surprising, they have long been famous for this. But I suspect that they are doing this not with the aim of trying to become a competitor to Bayern in the Bundesliga, but as part of their strategy, when after a season several of their new acquisitions were able to fulfill their potential and will be sold to other teams.

I think when it comes to things like this, Dortmund always makes a good decision, and that is why they have been known for this. Dortmund and Bayern Munich they have new manager so we can't judge early about their performance later because Bundesliga even hasn't starting yet but i am sure the management of both teams will be targetting similar achievement that whether it Dortmund or Bayern Munich will be attempts to broke the domination of Leverkusen who performing fantastic last season with Xabi Alonso

Dortmund with Nuri Sahin and Bayern Munich with Vincent Kompany and both are young managers which this is their first time experience to train big teams especially Vincent Kompany with Bayer Munich because i am sure people will be watching Bayern Munich under Vincent Kompany and they will start criticizing hard to him if Bayern Munich failed to performing well next season

Actually Nuri Sahin will not experience much pressure at Dortmund compared to Vincent Kompany because when the management has decide to hire him as the next manager to replace Terzic position Dortmund management hasn't targetting the trophy next season but they want Nuri Sahin can bringing Dortmund to compete for top 4 again and i am confident he can able to do that but for top 4 position Dortmund has strong opponents such as Stuttgart and Leipzig

As usual, Erik Ten Hag always wants to bring in players who have worked with him, we know that Matthijs de Ligt was his teammate when he was at Ajax and now he wants to recruit this player to join Manchester United under his direction. However, Bayern Munich did not want to just let Matthijs de Ligt go to Manchester United, they asked for a bigger offer that Manchester United could submit. Will they be ready to do what Bayern Munich wants?
I think with the great interest shown by Erik Ten Hag, it looks like Manchester United will try hard to fulfill what the team that owns Matthijs de Ligt wants, maybe they will come up with a new, bigger offer to make the transfer of this player from Netherland happen. . Indeed, Manchester United needs to fix their problems, one of which is in the defense line. They still have many gaps so they are aggressively looking for players who they hope can fix their problems.

I stand with Palestine.
People don not think that way just that what I sent people are doing most is speculations because kompany doesn't have a very sound track record up on which one can consider as really reliable. It's something that only a few will take exception off and you cannot hold them to that as their reasons looks very reasonable. One thing I believe is that sometimes responsibilities and expectations can make someone get better than they have been before all of that came up on them, so I wouldn't be amongst those who wouldn't make room for consideration as to what kompany can be capable of.
I think you are right that people are mostly guessing about Kompany future because he has not done great job in past. Some people still believe in the Kompany but it is reasonable to have doubts. I also think that when anyone is given more responsibility they can rise to challenge and do better than before. So I think it is fair to keep an open mind and consider that Kompany might surprise us and do a good job. By doing this we can balance our doubts with willingness to give them chance to show what they can do.

Despite being Injury prone, this is a reliable player with lots of experience when hundred percent fit. He was instrumental for Jurgen Klopp during the Champions League win for Liverpool and also the Premier League Competition win.

I think over the years, he has played a great role for Liverpool they cannot forget, but this is the time to move on because, they cannot to afford to retain him when they should be investing into younger defenders. They'll sure find replacement but they have been silent during this transfer window.

They're bringing in Matip because, they'll be losing Jonathan Tah soon enough. Prior to the European Championship, Bayern Munich has been heavily interested in bringing him in, and the same goes for him. With the Bundesliga soon to kickoff in four weeks time you'd want to be ready so you don't find your sqaud depth lacking.

Don't forget Bayern Leverkusen has plans to win the Bundesliga League Competition yet again and with so many games to play at most in the Champions League Competition, they'll be needing such experience of Matip even of he's to be a rotational player.

I think it is normal if people are pessimistic with the performance of Bayern Munich. People expect that Bayern will hire a top coach who has a great experience with big teams and achieved many trophies. Conte and Zidane were 2 top coaches that people predicted to be the candidate of Bayern Munich coach for the new season. Surprisingly, Bayern board decided to choose Kompany who has no experience to manage a big team and never won prestigious trophies. The previous coach (Tuchel) is even still better than Kompany if we considered the career history and the achievements. Tuchel won UCL trophy and many domestic trophies.

However, I agree that we can underestimate Kompany. He was a great player at lest, he knows well football. I don't want to feel pessimistic, too. But honestly, I am not so sure that Kompany will bring big impact to the performance of Bayern Munich.

We must realize that the candidate of the winner of Bundesliga isn't only Bayern Munich and Leverkusen. Dortmund is also strong team, they always becomes a strong competitor for Bayern Munich. Moreover, Dortmund successfully sign a new machine goal currently, Serhou Guirassy. I assume Dortmund will be stronger in the next season.

A lot of people are confused on whether Munich Will perform better or not the tables are turned. I was so sure that Bayern would do their best last season, but at the end of the day, I was disappointed at the performance by  which Bayern Munich Were putting up, let’s hope that under Kompanys management will get better for  bayern, people have their reasons for judging him that he might also fail in his management. Everyone deserves to be given the chance. If he will be able to restore Bayern Munich lost glory because Bayern and dortmund were the king of Bundesliga but look at what they have become. And that is why even in the champions league I already knew that it won’t be possible for dortmund to claim the champions league.

Leverkusen Surprised everyone and other clubs did not expect Leverkusen to win, it was new and am very sure that Leverkusen will put up a show next season. Because all this encouragement they are given Kompany will not work he should face the reality the club his governing is broken and needs fixing. Since a lot of people have so much in Kompany let’s wait and see if Kompany is the man.

It looks like Joel Matip will leave Liverpool as a free agent and Bayer could sign this player, at least they really hope so. And for Bayer’s defense this could be a good reinforcement, in the upcoming season it looks like their confrontation with Bayern will not be very easy.

That's because Liverpool did not extend Matip's contract so inevitably he had to be released on a free transfer because to force selling was actually difficult for Liverpool so there was no way when the contract ended he would leave.
He has been at Liverpool long enough because it seems like he is just like Klopp where he came when Klopp started his career with Liverpool and left when Klopp ended his tenure at Liverpool this season.

Apart from his age which is more than 32 years old, Matip is actually quite good at defending especially when 1 on 1 or aerial duels but it is indeed a wise choice for now with his age he goes to a lighter competition. and if Bayern is the goal it is also not bad although it will still be inconvenient for the core line-up competition because at this time it looks like Kompany will continue to look for defensive players especially Jonathan Tah is also still a rumor for Bayern until now.

Dortmund hiring someone who will get frequently injured isn't really a shock to anyone, that happens quite often. They usually look for talent, but I am sensing that their medical team isn't what it should be. At the end of the day, they have nobody to blame but themselves about that too I guess.

Overall, Guirassy is a magnificent striker, it will definitely help Dortmund, maybe it will not be back to old days like Haaland times, of course you can't expect him to be as good as Haaland, but it will definitely better than later on stages, they are going to get an improvement. Will he be able to score another 30 goals? Not sure, I agree that he will play in a better team, that's great, but I also think that other teams will defend harder against Dortmund, trying to give them less chance, whereas teams were more open against Stutgart, so it is not going to be simple at all. If he can break over 25, I would consider this as a good transfer, if he scores more than 30, that would be insanely good.

I would say it is okay if he scores anything over 20, but would be terrible if under 20. You have to score AT LEAST 20 goals as Dortmund striker to be considered decent, anything less would be below average.

Some people may be waiting for Bayer Leverkusen's first debut in the champions league, and I am personally very curious about what Xabi Alonso will present in the champions league, whether he will be even crazier in his new season or indeed regress, because we know that the previous season Bayer Leverkusen really surprised many people with their performance during their Bundes league, Moreover, Xabi Alonso must have refreshed his players very strategically to be able to compete in the Champion match and maintain his throne in the Bundes league.

Basically, I personally am not looking forward to what kind of results Bayer Leverkusen will get in the Champions League next season, because I am only looking forward to whether Xabi Alonso will still be able to make Bayer Leverkusen have good performance and results like last season or not. Because,if for example Xabi Alonso is still able to successfully make Bayer Leverkusen have good performance and results like in the last season, then it is very likely that Bayer Leverkusen will be able to go further also in the Champions League.

But yes, basically whether Bayer Leverkusen will also still be able to defend the Bundesliga title, because considering the strong team Bayern Munich also still has doubts because of the new coach who I think still has many doubts. Thus, then of course I will be looking forward to Bayer Leverkusen for next season in the Bundesliga, because it seems very likely that Xabi Alonso will be able to make Bayer Leverkusen strong in the Bundesliga trophy competition next season.

Munich are really taking it very seriously with their new coach Kompany and they have brought in some new players to start the season off perfectly with Kompany, Kompany himself got a big hug from the Munich management they really put everything in Kompany's hands and I think Leverkusen and also Dortmund will face tough resistance, but Leverkusen last season achieved extraordinary things by never being beaten in the Bundesliga and of course the players will use that momentum to improve their mentality in winning again and again, and I think Xabi will make Leverkusen's journey easier for win the match.
Likewise, Dortmund managed to bring in Guirassy, one of the players who stood out last season. and now he will wear the Dortmund uniform there seems to be something else going on in the Bundesliga. I would love to watch it.

Currently, there is a new era for Bayern Munich, which in fact is usually handled by a coach who has an undoubted track record. Kompany, present to handle The Bavarian squad. However, I doubt that Bayern's choice of players in this transfer window is based on his wishes. because some of the players that have been brought in by FC Bayern Munich are more at the choice of the sporting director. But it doesn't rule out the possibility that Kompany will also be involved when the club targets the players they are after. Munich has brought in several new arrivals to strengthen its team, so it is certain that they will again compete fiercely to become the strongest in the Bundesliga. Likewise with Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund, these two teams have also brought in several new players to strengthen the depth of their teams before the competition starts. Not only that, we also still have RB Leizig and Stuttgart who have the potential to become tough competitors in the top four of the Bundesliga standings. This season, Xabi Alonso must be ready with his competitors, because Bayern Munich is not the only one who is a tough competitor. However, Dotmund, Leipzig and perhaps Stuttgart will all be competing fiercely to be at the top of the standings throughout the new season. My speculation for now is that the Bundesliga will be more competitive compared to the previous season.

Leverkusen is a threat to all the clubs in Bundesliga because they are the defending champions who won the title unbeaten. That is enough to make the rest clubs be very careful when playing them so that Leverkusen will not win the league back to back.

Dortmund was a threat to big clubs in the Champions League because those clubs don't understand their game pattern but down to domestic league, most clubs understands each other football pattern. Dortmund that was unable to finish as top three on the table was in the finals and played against European best club Real Madrid.

Leverkusen might be able to win the league the second time if there is no good improvement in other club's performance.
