I think they may have decided to keep him in the team because they couldn't find a better candidate to replace Tuchel. Kimmich is an important player, but if Tuchel remains in the team and is determined to leave, Bayern will lose an important player. He is an important name for Bayern at the age of 29 and can make important contributions to Barcelona if he joins them.
Perhaps this was a decision that the Bayern München management was forced to take, because due to time constraints, they had no other choice to replace Tuchel as Bayern München coach. Kimmich does play a very important role in Bayern München's attack power, but he must restrain his ego for now and must remain at Bayern München, if Tuchel is retained. It is indeed very difficult for Bayern München if they have to choose between 2 options like this, so it will be a big problem for Bayern München in the future. In my opinion, things like this really need to be rethought by Bayern München's management so that it doesn't have a too bad impact on the quality of Bayern München's play next season.
If Tuchel stays, I think he will do a lot better next season, I know that he didn't do so well, and he is the manager of the team that lost for the first time in over a decade, so it does look like they do not want to keep him. But looking at the situation right now, with some good summer transfers, he should be able to build a team that will go great next season.

Plus, I really do not think that Leverkusen will be able to do the same success next season, look at how Napoli was the winner last year and barely getting any wins this year, same could happen to Leverkusen, they could just lose some great players, fail to replace them, and be a mediocre team next season again. This is why I see chances of Bayern higher, with or without Tuchel.

They take the performance of a coach too lightly, which in the end backfires on themselves in the end because seeing how easily they fired Nagelsmann before replacing him with Tuchel, surely almost most coaches will think again about how to deal with this situation.

In addition, being at Bayern is the same as having to prepare mentally strong. Bayern are always synonymous with champions so failure in the Bundesliga will be considered a disgrace and will certainly be criticized by many parties because it is considered unable to unlock the potential of the players and maintain the record that has always existed for Bayern and that is evident in the Tuchel era now so for ordinary coaches who do not want to accept risks then being at Bayern is clearly a difficult choice but Bayern must keep looking because they have to overhaul from scratch because I think it would be better to find a replacement for Tuchel than to keep him as coach.
well, this is what I meant in a few replies ago when I said that if a coach were given an offer to become coach of Bayern Munich he would definitely consider it in the long term because Munich is one of the big teams in the bundesliga and a coach who doesn't have a lot of experience and even an experienced coach he didn't even dare to speculate and take the risk of risking his reputation.
meanwhile, the coach's reputation has a big influence on the future of a coach's career and if he is considered bad or fails in a big team with quality players, in the future the coach will definitely have difficulty getting offers from big teams.
like Tuchel, who used to have a good reputation when he succeeded in bringing his team to a prestigious title, but after failing to bring a big team to maintain its consistency, Tuchel looked bad and continued to receive negative criticism.

firing Tuchel and replacing him with another coach is the best choice, but Munich management must also be careful in choosing a coach so that this bad thing doesn't happen again because if that happens again, Bayern Munich reputation will definitely decline a little and I'm sure Munich can get the same coach back, right because this is one of the big teams that always makes wise decisions for the sake of a better team future.
They should ultimately take an example from Nagelsmann because in the end, although professional performance is important, it does not mean that a club can fire and expel a coach or player for reasons that are not very appropriate and in the last 2 seasons Nagelsmann seemed to be kicked even though his conditions were still better because Bayern were still at the top even though at that time Dortmund was still sticking but in the end it was considered a failure and was fired quickly just because there was Tuchel who was ready to train so the reason is ridiculous if indeed now they hope Nagelsmann can train again after the humiliation that Bayern did before.

Indeed, for now it will definitely be a little difficult for Bayern to find a new alternative because there will definitely be a lot of situations where the new coach thinks about starting from pressure and future plans but I don't think we also need to worry too much about it because Bayern is a club that actually has a strong foundation and sooner or later they will definitely find a replacement for Tuchel in the end.

Bayern Munich's performance is bad so Munich did not win the title? Or is the Leverkusen team playing so well that Munich can't win the title?

I would say that the Leverkusen team has performed well this season which is why Munich failed to win the title. The previous season, Munich won the title with 71 points. This season, Munich has earned 72 points from 33 matches, but still Munich is 15 points behind Leverkusen. I wouldn't say that Munich's performance has deteriorated more than last season.
I don't think the Munich management will fire Thomas Tuchel right now. Tuchel is likely to be offered another season by Bayern Munich.

Bayern Munich declined real bad, isn't that obvious for everyone to see? They was so bad last season that, they almost missed out on winning the Bundesliga League Competition to the hands of Borrussia Dortmund. Only if Borrussia Dortmund was focused enough they would have won it.

Bayern Leverkusen was on another level, I don't even compare them performance with Bayern Munich even if at some point in the middle and f the season, Bayern Munich applied so much pressure on em but couldn't keep up with the pace amd pressure.
Bayern Munich really has dropped form and stuff. Also, I blame the coach and also the injuries they had which has affected them one way or the other this season.

Also, I feel like they do need to let some players leaving for good. Thomas Tuchel also had some internal issues withnsome players who will definitely leave at the end of the season. ( Joshua Kimmich )

I was boggled by the news honestly, that after having mutual agreements Thomas Tuchel will no longer be leaving the club at the end of the season.
It seems like they did get a better option out there that is vacant currently. Erik Ten Hag was named but, no further plans has be brought up again.

This season, it could be said that Thomas Tuchel failed in managing the Bayern Munich team to win the title. But for next season, I think it would not be appropriate if everyone immediately judged Thomas Tuchel's performance badly because different conditions could occur for the Bayern Munich team and also for other teams in terms of their dominance. This season, Bayern Munich must admit that they cannot surpass Bayer Leverkusen, who can continue to dominate the match without losing until they have won the title in the Bundesliga.
Bayern did not have big problems with injured players, there was only one significant problem: Tuchel’s internal conflict with some players. But any conflicts can be resolved with the proper approach, and if you look at Bayern’s recent games, then in my opinion everything in the team is not so bad. And after Bayern's unsuccessful search for new coaches, they came to the conclusion that Tuchel is not the worst option they have, but an agreement between them has not yet been reached since Tuchel demands that the contract must be signed before 2026. Most likely, you need to be prepared for the fact that some players will leave the team if Tuchel remains, but here they will have to choose who is more important for the team.
They did experience a decline, but it wasn't that bad. If there were no Leverkusen then they would be champions this season. and also if we compare it with their performance last season, actually there is no striking difference, it's not better, it's true, but it's still within reasonable limits in my opinion.
Overall they failed, this was seen after they had to end the season without winning a single title and they were not used to things like that, so they seemed to have failed because one of the reasons was their habit of always winning the Bundesliga.

This season, he fails again in Champions League even Bayern Munich bought Harry Kane for him and worse lost Bundesliga title to Bayer Leverkusen. I feel no reason to sympathize with Tuchel for his failures this season. Believe in him for one more season, I don't know if Bayern Munich will expand their patience and give him one more season to prove his ability.
I wonder why almost everyone says that Thomas Tuchel is the main cause of Bayern Munich's failure this season. I understand that he is the coach, and as a coach he will definitely be the first person to be blamed, I really understand that.
But can we go back to the previous season when Nagelsmann had to be fired at the end of the season? Isn't that also the beginning of the problems experienced by Bayern Munich this season?
I have absolutely no intention of defending Thomas Tuchel, but I mean come on, we can look at it from another point of view and not just dump everything on a coach.

Obviously, Tuchel failed in his first season with Bayern Munich, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have the ability to bring Bayern Munich to win the Bundesliga trophy, he has actually succeeded in winning the most prestigious trophy in the Bundesliga with Chelsea.
Last season, Tuchel was hired after Bayern Munich went with a big decision to sack Nagelsman, not to help Bayern Munich to win Bundesliga but to win Champions League or go far in Champions League. He failed with a big task for Champions League and nearly failed in Bundesliga too if Musiala did not score a late goal for Bayern Munich.

Tuchel was very luckily to save his coach position of Bayern Munich after the last season ends.

Quote
This season's failure will be the most valuable lesson for him to face the heat of competition next season. He just needs time and support from club management, players and also loyal Bayern Munich supporters. It must be acknowledged that Bayern Munich's downturn this season was when the responsibility of the coach was in his hands, but it would be very unfair if Bayern Munich's failure was considered purely his fault in managing the club.
This season, he fails again in Champions League even Bayern Munich bought Harry Kane for him and worse lost Bundesliga title to Bayer Leverkusen. Bayern Leverkusen have successfully unlocked the supremacy that Bayern Munich had over the Bundesliga teams.Bayern was ontop for more than five years now, which actually made the league boring, exactly what Manchester City are doing now  at England, and if they should win now,it will be Pep's fourth back to back wins in the premier league.Their supremacy have been superb, and even when we thought Arsenal would be able to win them this year, they still fell below City, and it's remaining just a game to go before they will be crowned champions of England once again.Thank God for Leverkusen in Germany, being able to stop their tittle run by Bayern,.

It's boring to see a farmers league like Ligue 1, it would be more interesting to see a league like the Portuguese League which has dynamism in the teams that win every season. This time in the Bundesliga we saw a miracle brought by Xabi Alonso & his squad, breaking Bayern Munich's dominance & making history for the club itself.

But will something like this happen again next season? I mean looking at league champions from other teams besides Bayern Munich, I don't think that will happen because Bayern Munich will rebuild their dominance after learning from their mistakes this season.

There is a possibility that Bayern Munich will keep Thomas Tuchel as their head coach since Xavi Alonso decided to remain at Bayern Leverkusen and Negelsman refused to become Bayern Munich's head coach again. Bayern Munich wanted Erik Ten Hag to become their new coach, but Manchester United management doesn't want to part ways with Erik Ten Hag, even though the majority of Manchester United fans want him out. I think Bayern Munich will stick with Tuchel because if they terminate his contract, it will be hard for them to get a good coach since they have yet to get the coach of their choice.
The board of directors should directs good paths for the team's progress. I know quite significant spots for the board to touch if they're more interested in the upbring of these young players. The challenges these coaches faces are whole lot out of line. Bayern Munich will always become an exciting club to watch when it comes to performance on the pitch. Rumours keeps circulating round about the Bayern Munich headcoach, it's really been a hectic season for him and he hopes for the better future.

But, if for example Tuchel does not get fired and will still be Bayern Munich's head coach for next season, at least it might be a proof for Tuchel to get better results for Bayern Munich. Because after all, I think Bayern Munich's failure this season is partly due to the extraordinary dominance made by Bayer Leverkusen. Therefore, because Xabi Alonso also will stay at Bayer Leverkusen and maybe Tuchel will make progress next season to beat Bayer Leverkusen, and maybe it can still happen. But yes, let's just look forward to how the matter of Tuchel's dismissal continues, whether he will still be fired or will indeed still be retained because Bayern Muinch still not yet found a replacement.

As I have previously thought, Bayern Munich will still retain Tuchel for next season and the reason is of course because of the rejection of several coaching candidates. Bayern Munich has no other choice but to rely on Tuchel and at least there are still several players such as Neuer, Muller, Goretzka and Musiala who want him to stay.

Bayern Munich better think about other options later when there is an open door from another coach because I don't think Tuchel has failed too much considering that he succeeded in bringing Bayern Munich to the semi-finals of the Champions League and it is worth trying again even though they have to lose the title in the main competition.

After I saw your post I wanted to check to confirm whether there is really such thing. It seems like The Guardian has also shared news about this situation.

It is really interesting to see that. Because Bayern Munich officials were looking very determined about their decision. They didn't even want to wait for the end of the season to do that. Maybe they weren't expecting to have this big difficulties in finding a replacement. They must have been rejected by 3 or 4 managers so far. But there are still other options out there. They act like there is nobody left.  Grin

Anyways, if they continue wih Tuchel maybe he would prove everyone wrong about him and have a much better season this time.

If they don't get a new coach in the near future, then they will keep Thomas Tuchel with them, unless they will get a replacement for Thomas Tuchel, then they will not keep him. It was quite difficult for them to get a new coach and they even received rejection from several names linked to them, that was something that was not good for them.
now they have to focus on preparing for the next season, I hope they won't make a decision suddenly, because maybe that will affect the preparations they make. They must be able to consider everything from now on, lest they make decisions midway. We know they made a decision that had many pros and cons when they sacked Nagelsmann at the end of the season, and it's true that it had an impact on their overall performance, they shouldn't do the same thing again. Because it is detrimental to them, they have to consider everything very carefully.
Bayern Munich management must immediately decide on a coach and team plans for next season so that they have clear targets. Currently, according to them, Bayern Munich has not found the right coach to replace Thoms Tuchel. In my opinion, Tuchel should be retained even though he can't give his best this season. I still believe he is a great coach and he will definitely correct himself to be better in the future. It would be very interesting if Tuchel was still with Munich and see him struggling with Alonso again. I think next season will be very exciting if that happens and it is likely that Alonso will get a more serious challenge.

A team as big as Bayern Munich needs quality and experienced players for instant results because there is no time for posing anymore, this team needs the title and continues to compete for it.
Rumors about Thomas Tuchel remaining are now getting more intense after Bayern management failed to find a replacement and I think that's a bad decision because Thomas Tuchel has been proven to have failed in managing Bayern so he is no longer worthy to be Bayern's coach.

well, this is what I meant in a few replies ago when I said that if a coach were given an offer to become coach of Bayern Munich he would definitely consider it in the long term because Munich is one of the big teams in the bundesliga and a coach who doesn't have a lot of experience and even an experienced coach he didn't even dare to speculate and take the risk of risking his reputation.
meanwhile, the coach's reputation has a big influence on the future of a coach's career and if he is considered bad or fails in a big team with quality players, in the future the coach will definitely have difficulty getting offers from big teams.
like Tuchel, who used to have a good reputation when he succeeded in bringing his team to a prestigious title, but after failing to bring a big team to maintain its consistency, Tuchel looked bad and continued to receive negative criticism.

firing Tuchel and replacing him with another coach is the best choice, but Munich management must also be careful in choosing a coach so that this bad thing doesn't happen again because if that happens again, Bayern Munich reputation will definitely decline a little and I'm sure Munich can get the same coach back, right because this is one of the big teams that always makes wise decisions for the sake of a better team future.
Tuchel's presence in the team ought to make a significant impact to their endeavors all time and also Kane's performance needed to add a big advantage to them but so far, their recent games have turned out opposite of their normal and expected performance rate. It'll only mean that their journey this season to a top spot is threatened and no one can say exactly if they'll be able to scale through it.

They've not been encouraging and it's quite appaling that they remain depreciated week after week. Sadly though, Tuchel's stay in the club is seemingly threatened, his days are actually numbered and it's understandable that the management would want a switch for the coach position as they expected him to be better considering how much effort his put in recent times and even with flaws, they need not to keep overlooking it as it's unending.

Well it'll only task them to find a proper hand that'll replace Tuchel's as so far they need not to take their chances and cause this to continue unto the next season. Alonso is being quested for and if they're able to secure him, well, hopefully he'll be able to take them out of the state they are. His records are speaking for him and so it's understandable that they see him as a proper prospect for the job ahead in the club.

Not also forgetting the fact that they've got to strive to gain back their name in the league. Yes, acquiring new players is essential to a team and with their caliber, they really have what it takes to go for the best of the bests. This season's experience should be enough for them to learn and react better to next season. They're an impactful team and so they should do their best to get whatever necessities needed for a good team outcome.

Has it been confirmed by Bayern Munich?
Munich this season continues to aggressively approach several coaches to coach Munich next season, but if indeed at this time Bayern Munich actually chooses to keep Tuchel, of course it is the last step that Munich does, with Tuchel still in munchen it certainly seems that Bayern Munich is currently getting rejection from the coach they are targeting to replace Tuchel next season, it is strange to all that at this time it seems that Munich is no longer my attraction from a great coach, especially reportedly if Munich no longer prioritizes speaking German wajid is mastered by prospective Munich coaches next season, the requirement to be able to speak German has been a special requirement of Munich so far for their coaches so it is not surprising that Munich has been often trained by German coaches.

Tuchel achievements this season are only able to lead Munich to the semi-finals of the Champions League, although Munich condition to keep Tuchel this season is to win the Champions League trophy, but it seems that a change of plan must be made by Bayern Munich after failing to get another coach at this time, but it is not wrong to give Tuchel a second chance to coach Bayern Munich next season,  Maybe he will be able to lift Bayern Munich form again to be able to dominate the Bundesliga again, but if Munich again fail to win next season of course Munich must immediately kick Tuchel from the Allianz Arena and also Kane (I think you must know why).

Referring to several sources that I read, it seems that Bayern are considering the decision to retain Thomas Tuchel. according to TheBavarian and also Fabrizio Romano, discussions between Tuchel and Bayern's agents reportedly held a meeting at Bayern's headquarters. quoted from Romano, the crucial point for Tuchel to stay is total approval from the supervisory board and a contract extension. Reportedly, the steps that Tuchel took were to make him feel fully confident in surviving and accepting.

Honestly, if this rumor is true, I'm not really sure why Bayern would do it. although we agree, the most relevant reason for retaining Tuchel is the rejection of several coaches who were previously targeted by Bayern Munich. although in reality, Bayern could actually bring in another coach as was previously rumored. However, the option of retaining Tuchel could be the main priority, apart from giving Tuchel the opportunity to prove that he is capable of bringing Bayern back to strength, at least for the Bundesliga. So, it seems that retaining Tuchel is more logical than bringing in another coach, apart from Xabi Alonso and Nagelsmann. For me personally, I am not satisfied with Tuchel's style of handling Bayern Munich. But we'll see how things develop next, whether Tuchel will stay or whether he chooses another club and league.

Yes, it would also be good to keep him for a while because Munich can still give him the opportunity next season to bring Munich to a better performance than this season, but it seems that the pressure from the fans could be because Tuchel has not succeeded in bringing Munich to defend the title in the Bundesliga for eleven their season dominated, even though he managed to bring Munich to the semi-finals of the UCL, it's actually not an achievement that should be appreciated especially since they didn't get any trophies at all this season, I'm sure Tuchel will soon be replaced

But if later he is replaced, of course Munich will have to look for a better coach who can quickly adapt to the Munich players. Apart from that, Munich needs to make a lot of changes to its players so that they can play better next season, because the competition next season is of course very tight because there are many teams. from the European leagues there will also be big changes, at least being able to bring Munich back to win the Bundesliga next season is more than enough, especially the UCL, of course that would be even better in my opinion, but it comes back to their management whether Tuchel will be retained or fired.

Of course, all team players need to accept responsibility and question where they made mistakes. Because Bayern Munich is a team that has become a school in world football. He has great prestige. If a team is considered unsuccessful if it does not win the championship, it is a great team and Bayern struggled with this problem this year. In general, what they have to do is to investigate where they made mistakes and correct those mistakes for the sake of the future.
Bayern Munich failure to maintain its dominance in the Bundesliga is not the fault of one or two individual players and it is not the fault of the coach, their failure to win a trophy this season is a collective failure and needs to be evaluated next season. Mathematically, Bayern Munich should still be able to win the trophy this season if Leverkusen does not experience the improvement in performance they are seeing now.

Due to the competition between Leverkusen and Bayern Munich, they also lost four points when these two teams met, making them unable to finish at the top of the standings. Bayern Munich mistake was due to not being able to compete with Leverkusen, they must improve their strength next season to reach the level shown by Leverkusen this season.
Bayern Munich this season has really performed far from expectations, they are completely unable to compete with Bayern Leverkusen who have been able to perform perfectly so far. The wide gap in points is proof that Munich cannot move unless they are only 3 points behind Leverkusen, so we can conclude that Munich is truly a team capable of competing closely. The success of Leverkusen this season must certainly be a whip for Manuel Nuer and his friends to be able to rise again next season and the record that has been carved by Leverkusen must also be a target that must be pursued too.
