The target for them is the Champions League right now and that’s why they are putting all the power and resources behind the Champions League match. They definitely have a genuine chance. Even though almost everyone believes that Real Madrid is going to be the winner of the match and eventually win the Champions League competition. We have seen surprising things happen in the league. maybe Bayern Munich does have a chance. But it is definitely true that they most likely do not care about the Bundesliga anymore, at least not in this season.

Especially the match against Dortmund because i am sure Dortmund won't let Mainz to win because Dortmund also still fight for Champion League spots with Leipzig so they really required more points to compete with Leipzig and they also still considers this match very important too so i think Mainz have possibility will be lost from Dortmund next week and in my opinion Mainz realistic target for this season is 16th place which mean play off zone and they still have any chances to survive at Bundesliga through an play off matches later against the team from Bundesliga 2 and indeed it won't be easy for them

After Xabi Alonso have decided to stay for another season with Bayern Leverkusen, I don’t think most of those players will want to leave to join other big teams now because he can easily convince them to stay for another year even when they get offer from other big teams. It is to their both advantages of the players stay back and with hope and trust in Xabi, they can achieve more with this club if they continue to play in this way. I expect a more balanced Bayern Leverkusen by next season and that I don’t doubt it not happening.
