Bayer Leverkusen are forever grateful to Xabi Alonso for giving them an amazing stats in the records of Bundesliga and they've been the only team to remain unbeaten till this moment. Although rumours keep flying around, most people have thought about this one season wonder and discredit Xabi Alonso to become a promising coach. However we tend to see where they will end in the UEFA Champions League next season and their performance to remain balance.
It is appropriate to say this even though what Bayer Leverkusen fans are currently waiting for is the UEL trophy this season and also the DFB Cup trophy this season, where Bayer Leverkusen still has the potential to get both this season. So Bayer Leverkusen not only get the Bundesliga trophy, but still have the possibility to get two more trophies before they return to developing their extraordinary tactics next season in the more prestigious competition, namely the UCL.
Being unbeaten in the Bundesliga is no small feat for Leverkusen. Also, they looked solid versus Frankfurt. Can they maintain this insane form? After big seasons, teams usually fold, but I'm glad Xabi Alonso is staying. He adds strategy and experience that could make all the difference. Leverkusen must keep improving their winning techniques. Teams discover you in the UCL, increasing pressure. Do they have enough depth to compensate, or do they need another major player? I want to see how they handle the Bundesliga burden and more
Even though Bayern Leverkusen has won this season's Bundesliga title, their performance hasn't changed. Bayern Leverkusen's performance against Eintracht Frankfurt yesterday showed that they are not done yet in the Bundesliga this season. With the way Bayern Leverkusen is playing now, I will say they will end this Bundesliga season unbeaten because their three remaining matches for the Bundesliga season to end are not strong. I have never seen any club perform the way Bayern Leverkusen has been doing in the Bundesliga this season for a long time in the top five leagues.

It was a great chance for Bayer Leverkusen that he stayed in the team next year. Both Bayer Leverkusen and the players are happy with Xabi. His management style makes them happy. They will definitely want to continue this streak next year, but right now they are focused on the last 2 matches and the match they will play in the UEL. Bayer suffered its last defeat in May last year. A better statistic would be hard to come by. Even though there is a team like Bayern in the German league, they finish the league without defeat, which is a magnificent achievement.
Bayer Leverkusen and Xabi Alonso broke another record that lasts for more than 50 years with their latest win and expand their unbeaten record. It is always great to break a previous record but Leverkusen will achieve bigger things, than just a record, if they can win two more titles Europa League and DFB cup.

One more match with Roma, and if they win to have an Europa League final match, they will lift Europa League trophy. One last match, the final match of DFB Cup and Leverkusen will complete this season very perfect. An impressive unbeaten season with three titles, it will be marked in history of football in general, not only in history of Bayer Leverkusen.
I think they will win the next match against Rome. They won 2-0 in Italy. They will continue this record in Germany. In the Bundesliga, they will play Bochum and Augsburg matches and these two teams are not a team that can stop them. If they didn't want to maintain their losing streak, they would probably play with the reserve squad, but now they have more goals. Leverkusen wants to complete the season without defeat.

Bayer Leverkusen are the best team in Germany this season and they've continue to soar for higher results this season, it's been a long day hardworking day for them but they always manage to come out alive. Bayer Leverkusen are two games away from been an invincible and untouchable elite team in bundesliga to end the season with streak unbeaten record. Bayer Leverkusen headcoach, Xabi Alonso deserves more accolades for his outstanding performance and ginger towards the players. Besides the team's board have entrust him to deliver more significant tasks for the team next season.

Xabi Alonso's doing something extraordinary. Quite inspiring. The Bundesliga has never seen such consistency: 40 victories, 8 ties, no losses. They're altering team performance objectives. I won't pretend to understand Alonso's techniques, but he's smart. Formerly good players thrive in his system. That implies it's more than individual talent. He excels at coaching the larger team dynamic. Two more wins, and history. With this success, larger clubs will come knocking. It's natural. I don't blame Alonso if he leaves. But wow, I hope he stays in Leverkusen. I'd love to see him establish a true dynasty there and challenge our dominance. Epic, fantastic for the league, good for fans
Several weeks ago there was a statement from Xabi published by the media regarding him still staying at Leverkusen. However, he was the one who changed Leverkusen's game to be very consistent and scary.
if he moves maybe it could be a momentary victory for Leverkusen and to compete next season they will have a little difficulty. but I am optimistic that he will continue to coach Leverkusen, at least for next season and after that maybe there will be interest in coaching another big team.

I also just noticed today that Leverkusen haven't lost a single game in the Bundesliga this season... They will play Frankfurt today and probably won't lose again... But I wouldn't be sure about next season... It often happens that after a great season, a team plays worse in the next one... But if Xabi has confirmed he's staying, it'll probably be fine...
Bayer Leverkusen is not only unbeaten but managed to destroy Frankfurt at Frankfurt home with a score of 5-1, Bayer Leverkusen doesn't seem to want to reduce its performance and still considers all the remaining matches in the Bundesliga to be important, maybe Bayer Leverkusen wants to set a record as champions of the Bundesliga without experiencing a single defeat and they will be the first team to do that, but if Bayer manages to win the remaining two matches they will not be able to match Bayern Munich's record as the team with the most points in one season, namely 91 points because Bayer will only get a total of 90 points but they will be the best team this season not only in the Bundesliga but also Europe with an unbeaten record.

The beautiful story continues, Leverkusen unbeaten record still hasn't stopped, the 5-1 win over Frankfurt took their unbeaten record to 48 matches with 40 wins and 8 draws. The victory over Frankfurt made Leverkusen equal the record set by Benfica in 1963, Xabi Alonso only needs one more win to break Benfica historic record. Leverkusen is also on the verge of going unbeaten in one season, if they are able to win in the remaining two Bundesliga matches, they will equal the record achieved by Arsenal in the 2003/04 season as undefeated League champions.

Leverkusen is on the verge of a record that has never been achieved before since the club was founded, they still have a big chance of winning the Treble and closing the season as an unbeatable team. I am very happy with Xabi Alonso performance even though I am not a Leverkusen supporter, I also hope he is not tempted by offers from other clubs. He is already highly appreciated at Leverkusen for his ability to turn the team into new champions in the Bundesliga. His stay at Leverkusen will make the Bundesliga even more competitive and put pressure on Bayern Munich in fighting for first place in the standings.
The maestro of Xabi Alonso success make new history for Bayern Leverkusen after winning Bundesliga tittle since 120 years moment waiting until reached the unbeaten 48 games record all competition. Firstly the most unbeaten record from Benfica have break by Bayern Leverkusen and waiting the invisible record from Arsenal who winning premier league on season 2002/03 without loss. Seems not problem for Xabi Alonso become the most success manager have unbeaten record in this season behind two matches left in Bundesliga, one match in DFB Pokal Cup and possibilities two matches in Europe League if can defend the first leg winning match against AS Roma.

Next match will face Roma on second leg match, I think Bayern Leverkusen will defend their winning capital on first leg and seems the unbeaten record keep defend and has opportunity reach up to 49 matches all competition without loss yet.

give one word of praise to Xabi who has successfully completed the remaining matches slowly without defeat and even against a team that is one of the strong teams in the Bundesliga currently like Frankfurt and previously managed to hold a draw against a team that is also one of the stable teams like Stuttgart.
I have to admit that this season Leverkusen has really achieved perfect success and this can all be achieved thanks to the contribution of a very intelligent coach like Xabi.
yesterday I also had to admit that Frankfurt had actually appeared to try to provide very good resistance but it was a mistake that Frankfurt was too ambitious to try to continue to provide resistance to Leverkusen but did not see how the defense was unable to accommodate Leverkusen attacks and this was Frankfurt mistake which should have prioritized defense, when playing at home and finally having to bear the shame of conceding a big score and all this happened after the second half started when Frankfurt became more involved in losing spirit.

bet builder may be too risky but for me it suits the odds I get.
after this, there are only 2 matches left for Leverkusen to finish to make new history throughout the season, getting the Bundesliga title and being undefeated and in my opinion, the remaining 2 matches are not difficult opponents that will be very easy to beat.

Bayern Munich is still the best club in Germany with control of the Bayern Munich title for more than a decade, but for this season the name Bayern Munich seems to be sinking seeing Leverkusen's success in the Bundesliga, which is still winning and has not tasted defeat, even though Leverkusen has won the Bundesliga trophy, Leverkusen still hasn't Wanting to lose, Xabi Alonso still gives his best strategy to the Leverkusen players in every match they face, who knows what spell Xabi Alonso uses in building Leverkusen's performance to become an unbeatable club this season, even experienced coaches find it difficult to maintain the club's winning record in one season, let alone in all competitions.

But Xabi Alonso proved it, yes, even though the season is not over yet, I am very confident that Leverkusen can do it. The players have a very good mentality and self-confidence and not all players can have it, Xabi Alonso succeeded in providing motivation that built the players' performance and made them more confident on the field, hopefully with Xabi staying at Leverkusen next season Leverkusen's appearance in the Champions League can make a difference and become a strong competitor to Real Madrid, Manchester City and Bayern Munich.

Playing in Champions League next season will be another challenge for Xabi Alonso to prove his capability at the highest level. As a player, he has rich experiences and achievements in Champions League. He can transfer his experience and mentality to his team playing in Champions League to boost their morale and confidence.

Despite Leverkusen having a remarkable campaign this season, Xabi Alonso will still need to strengthen his squad with signing new players. While they are succeeding in all competitions this season, playing in Champions League will be so different, because they will have to play against much tougher teams. They need to have a better quality squad to succeed while they are keeping the current squad for a stronger bond between them. They can't expect to replicate what they have been doing this season to apply it next season, because things will go different.
Xabi has managed to show the same qualities both as a player and now as a coach, the Europa League and DFB Pokal trophies will confirm his managerial qualities. The unbeaten record continues, where I predict they will be able to wipe out all the remaining matches with wins in all competitions.

It is true, Leverkusen management must support and prepare a budget for next season to support Xabi, where the Champions League competition demands better squad depth. I think Leverkusen will have no problems building their squad next season, they will get lots of bonuses if they succeed in winning the treble. Likewise with the players they are targeting, Leverkusen will find it very easy to recruit new players because they have quite good bargaining value at the moment.

It won't get boring if we talk about Leverkusen's unbeaten record and instead of them playing casually against Frankfurt, they actually embarrassed Frankfurt in front of their fans. I think Leverkusen will continue to keep this record and they don't care who the opponent will be.

The Leverkusen players' mentality is as strong as steel and regardless of the competition, they can always produce maximum results in every match. Now with the latest victory over Frankfurt, Leverkusen has 2 more matches left in the Bundesliga and it would be a perfect unbeaten record if they still get a win.
Indeed, They even did it without Xabi on the touchline. Imagine, 1 - 5, Eintracht Frankfurt playing at home. How embarrassed. This is truly extraordinary for Leverkusen, they already have a winning mentality and will continue to be like that. Their game may not always dominate the ball, but what is certain is that they focus more on how effective their game is, their attacks, and also the goals they can get. They really are Leverkusen, Neverlusen. 2 remaining matches to be fought against in Bundesliga, we are sure exactly, Leverkusen will get all victories.

Well, for the next season Leverkusen will play in UCL. Xabi Alonso will experience bigger level of football competition, UCL is more difficult than UEL.
I'm also really waiting for how their performance in UCL.
Xabi has quite a lot of experience in the UCL, but as a player at that time. Meanwhile, with Leverkusen, this will determine how they will play as their football manager. Yes, this certainly won't be easy, because they could have met Real Madrid, Xabi's club at that time. And it surely will be very interesting. But not only that, Leverkusen has not previously been considered an important position in the UCL, but for next season, I am sure that many top clubs will be quite alert when competing against this club because of its record. We have seen how successful Xabi can get Leverkusen to compete in the UCL, where this is a league that could be called another level of the domestic league.

Well, for the next season Leverkusen will play in UCL. Xabi Alonso will experience bigger level of football competition, UCL is more difficult than UEL. However, I still believe Leverkusen is possible to keep their good performance in UCL as well. Xabi Alonso stays in the team, he knows well how to be the champion in UCL because he is a part of Real Madrid winning team in the past. We know Real Madrid is the king of UCL, Xabi Alonso may bring the spirit of winning UCL to Leverkusen, too.

Bayern Leverkusen continues to win. They won 5-1 against Eintracht Frankfurt tonight.
I guess these guys will not be defeated. They have the last two games left in the league and they will win the last two game easily and comfortably.

Agree. It is a big achievement to be unbeaten in the whole season. We must know that Leverkusen is unbeaten in all competitions (UEL, Bundesliga, DFB Pokal). Sure, it is a crazy achievement, no teams may follow this in the future because it is something very difficult to happen. In the current match against Frankfurt, Leverkusen never showed a lower motivation to win. They even played with a bigger motivation because they really want to finish this season with unbeaten status in all the competitions.

Since Leverkusen will only have easy opponents in the Bundesliga, I expect them to not lose a game this season. I even believe that they will win all of their games left and not even draw. An incredible season from the players and Xabi Alonso and they deserve it.

Today we are in another day with a Leverkusen game. This time they are going to play against Frankfurt away. There is still an unbeaten streak of 47 games, what is your opinion on today's game?

Honestly I'm not expecting Xabi Alonso and his students to let this streak be broken by Frankfurt either today. Even Roma couldn't do it in Italy previously you know. I don't want to see it with plain logic of course. However they somehow manage not to lose even if they are behind by one goal in the last moments. We saw that in their latest Bundesliga game for example there are other examples happened before too. I think both teams will score and a draw wouldn't be surprising.  Smiley

I was expecting win for the FC Koln as they are trying to survive and this was good opportunity to have three points and chance of survive, but sadly their hard work not allow them to have any goal even they have done good job, and we have all game under well control for them with Freiburg were playing defensive in all game which helps them for having one point and chance for another season in Conference League even still we are having two more games which will give better opportunity to all for having their own chances, but this is huge lost for the FC Koln as they need to win this game and then having good chance in next game against Union Berlin which is also struggling and trying to survive in this season.

Dortmund were amazing in this game, and we can hope for the better result from them in coming game which is going to play in Paris this could be good opportunity to have place into final and their quality and performance both are favouring them for this chance.
Cologne haven't been an impressive side this season as their records and results from their encounters have been too poor. They are in a profound league and as such, they're expected to perform extremely beyond their normal rate but all time this season and in the past, they've been found wanting most especially when faced with top teams

Yesterday they played away to Freiburg and sadly, they couldn't even try to get a win from the game and this only means that they aren't even living up to expectation considering how well they've performed in past seasons. This season kind of started off fine for them but lately keeping up the tempo has been an issue. One would wonder how they managed to depreciate drastically in their level of performances so far.

It only shows how unpredictable football is and how much different they've become negatively. Their rate of performance currently is going to cost them their own spot on the league table. They should have tried to perform better to escape downward movement but unfortunately efforts put to their last game were in vain and who knows if it'll still be worse for them in their next encounter. No confidence for them ahead of the encounter but hopefully games would favour them in the last 3 matches left.
