The reason is because Leverkusen wants to pursue an unbeaten record in one season, the big win over Frankfurt indicates that Leverkusen is still very hungry for victory even though they have locked in the title. Xabi Alonso must be careful in arranging the starting XI in his last two matches, because there are still more important matches if they qualify for the Europa League final. The next mission was to complete the second leg of the Europa League by securing tickets to the final. Their performance was still very stable, allowing them to secure the victory obtained in the first leg.
That's right, Xabi Alonso must be very careful in dealing with all the remaining matches, so that their long-standing unbeaten record is not broken. However, I think Xabi Alonso will be able to handle it well, Leverkusen have survived up to this point. Furthermore, Roma, Atalanta/Marseille in the Europa League, Bochum, Augsburg in the Bundesliga, Kaiserslautern in the DFB Pokal Final will not be able to damage Leverkusen impressive reputation. Bet on Leverkusen victory in the Europa League and DFB Pokal feels very safe, because Xabi Alonso and his squad have the ambition to win these two trophies. In my opinion, the remaining matches in the Bundesliga require consideration, because Leverkusen only needs to draw to continue their positive trend throughout the season. This is Leverkusen greatest season, Xabi Alonso has managed the club extraordinary.

With what Bayern Leverkusen has shown this season in all competitions, they can match Real Madrid and Manchester City shoulder-to-shoulder if they have the chance to play against Real Madrid and Manchester City this season. We have seen how clubs that Bayern Leverkusen is greater than this season have scored goals against Real Madrid and Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League competition, so there is a possibility that Bayern Leverkusen can beat Real Madrid and Manchester City if they play a match this season.
If this season is true because we can see that Bayern Leverkusen's strength is quite strong and consistent this season even though they are not competing in the Champions League against strong teams such as Real Madrid and Manchester City, we can measure the strength of these teams and Bayern Leverkusen can be defeated. equalize.

However, for next season this is still uncertain because there is no guarantee that Bayern Leverkusen's performance will still be the same as this season, it could be that they are getting stronger and it could also be that their performance will decline, so this is worth looking forward to, especially for Bayern Leverkusen next season. will play in the Champions League.
Well, actually I would like to see Leverkusen meet the teams mentioned, but that's not possible because they are in different competitions. I want to see if Leverkusen will be able to maintain their performance when they meet Real Madrid or Manchester City. Because maybe next season they will meet, but as you said, we can't be sure whether Leverkusen will be able to play as well as this season or not, but I hope they can still show something the same as this season.

They are a real threat in the Champions League next season, and other teams will definitely realize that. Other teams will follow Leverkusen's developments this season, because they will also be curious about Leverkusen's performance so that they are very difficult to beat. I want to see how Xabi can bring his team to the Champions League, because the Champions League is more competitive than the European League. Whether Xabi will be able to bring something good to Leverkusen is very interesting for us to wait for.

I doubt if the performance of Bayer Leverkusen has gotten to the point of making such comparison with Madrid a d Manchester city because these two teams are totally different from each other and in different leagues facing different challenges and different teams so I don't see the perfect yardstick for comparison just yet and so I wouldn't want to be quick to that just yet until next season when they are all going to meet at the champions league.

Scoring goals against a big team doesn't equate you with them, infact winning them once aswell still isn't a good equation between you and them because I believe such victory can't be repeated but they can actually get to repeat victory over you again of they want the fact still remains that Manchester city and real Madrid will still remain bigger than those teams who were lucky enough to have won few games or score some goals against them, probably they were lucky they played against Manchester city and Madrid in their vulnerable periods as there's such time for almost every team.

If Manchester city and Real Madrid should be In their absolute and solid form, I doubt if these teams would be able to probably getting to win them or score the goals you have said they did score, I can agree to the fact that if Leverkusen gets to meet any of these teams this season, it's actually going to be a tough game for them both but the fact that Leverkusen will then be seen as as matching in strength almost immediately may actually not be true completely.

With the performance of Bayern Leverkusen this season, they will beat Roma at home in their second tie in the Europa League semi-final. The mistake Roma made was to allow Bayer Leverkusen to beat them in Italy by 0-2. Bayern Leverkusen will not allow Roma to beat them in Germany when they visit them. I agree with you that Bayern Leverkusen want to finish unbeaten this season in the Bundesliga because after they have won the Bundesliga title, they could have used their second eleven to play the rest of their Bundesliga matches and focus on the Europa League, but yet they are using their starting eleven to play the rest of their Bundesliga matches. There is a big possibility that Bayern Leverkusen will end this Bundesliga season unbeaten. The highest result that the remaining Bayern Leverkusen opponents in the Bundesliga can get from Bayern Leverkusen is a draw, and nothing more than that.
Leverkusen have the record - they have not lost 47 games now, they are currently unbeatable. Regardless of whether it is in Germany or in another country. Yesterday they won 5:1 and not all the players from the first team were in action, this team cant be beaten, that is the current situation. AS Roma play 1-1 against Juventus yesterday and I think they have less than a 5% chance of winning against leverkusen. I would like to see them play against Manchester City or Real Madrid, would they lose?
A Cinderella story, this team is a powerhouse. The Champions League is different from the Bundesliga, lets be honest. Only then will we know if Leverkusen can compete with Real Madrid and Manchester City. They're on a roll, but top-level consistency is the final test. Their capacity to win without stars? Very impressive. Impressive depth. I think they have a chance against the big boys today, and many experts agree. Can such form withstand Champions League knockout pressure? Hard to know. Personal excitement. New vitality comes from Leverkusen. I hope they change things at the top. Your thoughts? Do you think they'll cause trouble?

Darmstadt, Koln and also Mainz 05 are three teams that are in the relegation zone and for Darmstadt and Koln it is clear that they will immediately be in Bundesliga 2 next season.

img source: https://gong.bg/football-sviat

Köln vs Freiburg ended up 0-0 draw, this draw didn't bring anything blessing to any of these teams. till now Köln are in 17th position, with 24 points they are 5 points behind Mainz, so sad relegation is almost confirmed for Köln. On the other hand, Freiburg failed to come close to Frankfurt, they are 4 points behind and acquire 7th points with 41 points.

Köln has not been performing well in recent years. In the last couple of seasons, they have seen a steady decline. In this season they are currently in the relegation zone. And the way things are shaping up, I do not think they will be able to avoid relegation in this season anymore.

Actually, I think there is still a chance for them to at least play in the relegation playoffs. But even that idea looks really far away from reality.  In this season it looks like they are going to get relegated and I think if they actually get relegated, it is going to take them a long time to earn promotion again. Hard to believe that only one season ago they had finished on the seventh position and played in the Europa Conference League qualifier. I am talking about the 2021-22 season.

I also just noticed today that Leverkusen haven't lost a single game in the Bundesliga this season... They will play Frankfurt today and probably won't lose again... But I wouldn't be sure about next season... It often happens that after a great season, a team plays worse in the next one... But if Xabi has confirmed he's staying, it'll probably be fine...
Bayer Leverkusen is not only unbeaten but managed to destroy Frankfurt at Frankfurt home with a score of 5-1, Bayer Leverkusen doesn't seem to want to reduce its performance and still considers all the remaining matches in the Bundesliga to be important, maybe Bayer Leverkusen wants to set a record as champions of the Bundesliga without experiencing a single defeat and they will be the first team to do that, but if Bayer manages to win the remaining two matches they will not be able to match Bayern Munich's record as the team with the most points in one season, namely 91 points because Bayer will only get a total of 90 points but they will be the best team this season not only in the Bundesliga but also Europe with an unbeaten record.

It won't get boring if we talk about Leverkusen's unbeaten record and instead of them playing casually against Frankfurt, they actually embarrassed Frankfurt in front of their fans. I think Leverkusen will continue to keep this record and they don't care who the opponent will be.

The Leverkusen players' mentality is as strong as steel and regardless of the competition, they can always produce maximum results in every match. Now with the latest victory over Frankfurt, Leverkusen has 2 more matches left in the Bundesliga and it would be a perfect unbeaten record if they still get a win.

Since Leverkusen will only have easy opponents in the Bundesliga, I expect them to not lose a game this season. I even believe that they will win all of their games left and not even draw. An incredible season from the players and Xabi Alonso and they deserve it.
Have you ever thought that Leverkusen would be the only team to get the nickname "Invincible Treble"? because if they succeed in closing all the matches without losing in the 3 competitions that are still active today then this is very possible. We know that no team, especially in Europe, has that nickname and it would be amazing if Leverkusen could do that.

Now in the Bundesliga Leverkusen only needs to beat Bochum and Augsburg and honestly it is not a difficult opponent for Leverkusen. Furthermore, we don't need to predict further regarding the second leg of the European League against Roma because it is certain that Leverkusen will go to the final and just wait for the opponent between Atalanta or Marseille. Lastly, Leverkusen only needs to beat Kaiserslautern in the DFB Pokal competition and become champions this season.
The 4th goal they scored shows how they are a team, how they have a game memorisation. With their system, tactical, technical and squad engineering, they are by far one of the best football teams of this year. They are unbeaten in 48 matches and despite derbies, Europa League matches, intense fixtures, no one can defeat Xabi Alonso's Leverkusen. Nobody could have predicted that he would combine the quality of his squad with his tactical intelligence and become such a good technical man. Leverkusen, who became champions in the Bundesliga with a 10-point lead over Bayern, increased their rhythm and demolished rivals like Rome and Frankfurt, will probably almost unstoppable even in the league of giants.

The beautiful story continues, Leverkusen unbeaten record still hasn't stopped, the 5-1 win over Frankfurt took their unbeaten record to 48 matches with 40 wins and 8 draws. The victory over Frankfurt made Leverkusen equal the record set by Benfica in 1963, Xabi Alonso only needs one more win to break Benfica historic record. Leverkusen is also on the verge of going unbeaten in one season, if they are able to win in the remaining two Bundesliga matches, they will equal the record achieved by Arsenal in the 2003/04 season as undefeated League champions.

Leverkusen is on the verge of a record that has never been achieved before since the club was founded, they still have a big chance of winning the Treble and closing the season as an unbeatable team. I am very happy with Xabi Alonso performance even though I am not a Leverkusen supporter, I also hope he is not tempted by offers from other clubs. He is already highly appreciated at Leverkusen for his ability to turn the team into new champions in the Bundesliga. His stay at Leverkusen will make the Bundesliga even more competitive and put pressure on Bayern Munich in fighting for first place in the standings.
This season Leverkusen under the guidance of Xabi Alanso is cool, almost perfect, there is no debate. In fact, there is still no team that knows how to beat Bayer Leverkusen this season. Now 48 matches have passed in all competitions, Leverkusen has not suffered a single defeat, in fact there are only a few matches left, if they don't lose then they will close the Bundesliga season perfectly.

But actually I'm curious to see Leverksuen's performance next season, especially since they will play in the UCL League. Is it still stable like this season or has the graph decreased? So it can be said that next season will also be a season of proof for Xabi Alonso that this season is not just luck but that he deserves to be a great coach.

Several weeks ago there was a statement from Xabi published by the media regarding him still staying at Leverkusen. However, he was the one who changed Leverkusen's game to be very consistent and scary.
if he moves maybe it could be a momentary victory for Leverkusen and to compete next season they will have a little difficulty. but I am optimistic that he will continue to coach Leverkusen, at least for next season and after that maybe there will be interest in coaching another big team.
Previously we knew Leverkusen was only a mid-table team in the Bundesliga before Xabi Alonso took over to coach Bayern Leverkusen, Leverkusen performance this season is of course inseparable from strategy and also Alonso ability to manage Leverkusen game this season, the outstanding performance of Leverkusen this season obviously makes us so amazed and even hard to believe if they can go so far undefeated,  Alonso decision to stay at Leverkusen certainly makes the current management and fans of Leverkusen very happy because they hope that Alonso will be able to continue his good performance with Leverkusen next season.

At this time, in addition to retaining Alonso, Leverkusen should also be able to keep their main players next season, because if not, of course Alonso will be difficult to be able to maintain Leverkusen's game performance later, because in addition to Alonso ability to bring changes in the Leverkusen squad, of course, the role and also the performance of their players so far are also strong reasons if Leverkusen can be great this season,  So if Leverkusen loses some important players next season, of course their performance will drop dramatically in my opinion.

I can't describe how special Leverkusen is, even though they have confirmed the title, they still refuse to give victory to other teams. It's hard to believe but this is the candidate who can make the most difference in the UCL next season. Is it too early? or indeed the hope is that Leverkusen can show European teams that their club should be considered a threat. Xabi said that what he had achieved was still not enough to face the big league that was in sight.
Meanwhile in the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich is worried, we also have high hopes that in the future, Bayern Munich dominance will be difficult to continue. After this season ends, Xabi will have plenty of time to continue improving his team performance. Talking about the match against Frankfurt overall Leverkusen lost in terms of field dominance but even so, out of a total of 7 shots on target, 5 of them were goals. It's clear that Leverkusen has qualities that are hard to find in other European teams this season.

Xabi should aswell make sure too many of the players in Leverkusen aren't sold off this season as they go to prepare for next season that's if he's staying back at Leverkusen, this time isn't about the money but his career as a first time coach who achieved this much he should take his time to making decisions because it's natural he's definitely going to get beautiful offers but some are capable of career ruin and he should be mindful of such.
Adaptation between players on the field is actually more difficult than adaptation of the coach and the players, but that doesn't mean Leverkusen doesn't want to buy new players to make the team stronger and stronger next season, because they will be fighting at a higher level, namely European competition. like the UCL where there are many top players and also other great coaches, Xabi Alonso will of course retain several important players next season because many new clubs may be hunting for several Leverkusen players considering their quite good achievements this season.

xabi alonso can't possibly force his players to stay, but if the players think again, of course they have to stay to play in the UCL next season, at least break a new record and become an unbeatable team next season in big competitions, i admit that xabi alonso is very smart in setting the strategy so that you don't need to have TOP players, he can manage it well, adaptation is important but Xabi Alonso definitely has his own way of making players adapt more quickly to other players, I'm sure Leverkusen's future will be even better than this season if they stay in Leverkusen.

It was a great chance for Bayer Leverkusen that he stayed in the team next year. Both Bayer Leverkusen and the players are happy with Xabi. His management style makes them happy. They will definitely want to continue this streak next year, but right now they are focused on the last 2 matches and the match they will play in the UEL. Bayer suffered its last defeat in May last year. A better statistic would be hard to come by. Even though there is a team like Bayern in the German league, they finish the league without defeat, which is a magnificent achievement.
Bayer Leverkusen and Xabi Alonso broke another record that lasts for more than 50 years with their latest win and expand their unbeaten record. It is always great to break a previous record but Leverkusen will achieve bigger things, than just a record, if they can win two more titles Europa League and DFB cup.

One more match with Roma, and if they win to have an Europa League final match, they will lift Europa League trophy. One last match, the final match of DFB Cup and Leverkusen will complete this season very perfect. An impressive unbeaten season with three titles, it will be marked in history of football in general, not only in history of Bayer Leverkusen.
I think they will win the next match against Rome. They won 2-0 in Italy. They will continue this record in Germany. In the Bundesliga, they will play Bochum and Augsburg matches and these two teams are not a team that can stop them. If they didn't want to maintain their losing streak, they would probably play with the reserve squad, but now they have more goals. Leverkusen wants to complete the season without defeat.
Xabi Alonso's doing something extraordinary. Quite inspiring. The Bundesliga has never seen such consistency: 40 victories, 8 ties, no losses. They're altering team performance objectives. I won't pretend to understand Alonso's techniques, but he's smart. Formerly good players thrive in his system. That implies it's more than individual talent. He excels at coaching the larger team dynamic. Two more wins, and history. With this success, larger clubs will come knocking. It's natural. I don't blame Alonso if he leaves. But wow, I hope he stays in Leverkusen. I'd love to see him establish a true dynasty there and challenge our dominance. Epic, fantastic for the league, good for fans

I don't know if the staying or exiting of the team by Xabi is still very much under deliberation because personally I've not seen any official statement recently In that regards as the last I saw was indicating him staying back but if a change has been made I can't say for sure nevertheless personally I think that wouldn't be necessary for Xabi in that the fact that he's been able to achieve this much with Leverkusen isn't an assurance he will be able to replicate it out there.

In Leverkusen I get to understand that the cooperation amongst the players and the Coach is very good as compared to what is found in other teams, the most unfavourable place xabi will dare going will be england, there are so much to stop him from achieving this much over there and I think it's because back there the competition is just too high and they have got too many big names who may not want to be really cooperative enough because they have got their personal interest at heart too while playing, it will be very appropriate I'd he stays back in Germany at Bayer Leverkusen and get his skills sharpened again by trying to do this next season even if it's going to be even more challenging because attention in now on his team.

It was really an embarrassing score for Frankfurt. I thought maybe a draw would be seen again after some complacency as of winning the league title. Leverkusen got two draws before because of that. However they were so ambitious that they were showing their intention to keep this streak for much longer very clearly.  Smiley

I don't know how Xabi Alonso really does this. I'm very curious about his secret.  Grin  The bond is such a strong one between him and the players that nobody is still able to break it. This streak will come to an end at one point but even then it won't be that easy to see them struggling a lot.

A little discussion for the bottom team who have performed badly since the start of the season and have not shown the slightest improvement that could make them finish with better ranking this season to avoid relegation.
There are only 2 matches left to complete the competition and this is clearly the remaining matches which will make it difficult for the bottom team to improve their standings.
Darmstadt, Koln and also Mainz 05 are three teams that are in the relegation zone and for Darmstadt and Koln it is clear that they will immediately be in Bundesliga 2 next season.
It is different for Mainz 05 because they still have the opportunity to be 1 point away from Union Berlin, if Mainz 05 fails to beat Union Berlin in the remaining 2 matches then they will have to face Fortuna Dusseldorf to determine who will play in the Bundesliga and who will be in Bundesliga 2.

After gets Bundeliga title this season actually upcoming matches in this competition will not so important again for Leverkusen because whether it lost or win their position on League Table cannot be pursuing anymore so i assume Leverkusen probably will focus to DFB Pokal and Europa League but seems Leverkusen didn't hold back and they still considers the match in Bundesliga is important so that's why every week Leverkusen always be serious want to gets the winning results and i think it's clearly Xabi Alonso had ambition want to ended this season with unbeated records

The latest prove is Leverkusen can win with big scores from Frankfurt yesterday and total Leverkusen still unbeated in the last 48 matches in all competitions so this is fantastic records and i am sure these records would be last long and Bundesliga still have 2 matches remaining before this season ended and if we see based on Leverkusen schedules Leverkusen facing easy schedules because for next 2 matches their opponents is only Bochum and Augsburg and on the paper beating these teams will not hard for Leverkusen so i am confident Leverkusen can gets the winning results from these opponents
