Everyone is pretty shocked about the Vincent Kompany decision to be fair. I mean by the looks of it they are not really "improving" but that is just on the looks. Sure Tuchel didn't get Bayern the title unlike they are used to, and that was a bad thing for them there is no doubt about that. But Tuchel is a manager who has won UCL with Chelsea before, whereas all Kompany did was relegate at premier league so far.
When you look at the past, you always think that Tuchel is better. Maybe we are wrong and there is a reason why they made this change, maybe they know something that we do not know and they could get something greater. At the end of the season we are going to see if they made a good decision or not. We are going to see if they are going to be profitable or not as well. The best thing we can consider right now is just assuming what they are doing, and for that to mean something we should see them win the title, if not then we can't really know anything.
Everyone should be stunned by the decision of the management of Bayern Munich to appoint a coach like Vincent Kompany as the replacement for Thomas Tuchel. When I take time to look deep about this move, I don't think I'm comfortable with it one way or the other, you're to bring someone better that who was in charge, but we saw the opposite with what Bayern Munich did with appointing Vincent Kompany.
I don't think he can compete with Xabi Alonso is you ask him, he can only do well to doubt me and the couple others who thinks so. Let's see if he can also he able to bind the dressing together. Thomas Tuchel was poor last season, many people went all out blasting Harry Kane for having a curse and shit but all of the criticisms should have been flashed on Thomas Tuchel. He also has internal issues with Joshua Kimmich and Thomas Muller in the dressing room, how do you expect him to stay further when you fighting with players considered leaders in the dressing room.
Kompany has to deliver from the very beginning because I doubt Bayern are going to give him much time. The fans want immediate result and they don't believe in him already so he needs to gain their trust from the very beginning in order for them to trust him.
Like you said, maybe they're seeing something in him that we cannot see, because I never expected Bayern Munich to hired a manager like Kompany.
Maybe they're impressed with what he did in the championship with Burnley, because to be honest, he was impressive there, but in the premier league he was a disaster.
I believe he has the right idea about the kind of football he wants and with the right players he might be able to execute it, but would be able to manage a team as big as Bayern Munich with all the pressure and expectations? Only time would tell.
I believe Pep Guardiola has influenced this decision one way or the other, he must have linked Vincent Kompany to the directors of Bayern Munich.
After the disappointing last season, let's see what they can do to get back the trophy back. I see they're making improvements in midfied and also defence.
The name de Ligt has been linked with a move to Manchester United, whike tjat of Jonathan Tah wants the move badly to Bayern Munich.
Fulham and Portuguese midfielder Paulinha has also been linked to the club and the feeling is both mutual on personal terms. Bayern Munich hasn't just come to conclusion with Fulham for full possession of the player.
