I honestly do not think Dortmund is a candidate this season at all. I honestly do not think even Leverkusen would have easy time neither, I get that they kept most of their good players and they kept Xabi Alonso as well which means that they should be fine, so I see them above Bayer Leverkusen but that doesn't mean that they are a candidate. For any given season, I always see Bayern as the only candidate this is why I think it's clear that we are going to see Bayern be the biggest candidate again.
But, if we leave that aside for a second I can say that Leverkusen is of course the second biggest candidate and if Bayern Munich doesn't do well enough then we can see them win this time again, a back to back wouldn't be impossible and could happen. At the same time we are talking about a situation where Dortmund is nowhere near those two at all. This is my idea of course and I could be wrong and maybe they will do fine who knows, Dortmund could shock the world.
That's how the Bundesliga competition has been in the last decade, which has always been dominated by Bayern Munich. So, it would be very natural if Munich is again favored to win the Bundesliga even though they failed last season. Even though the one who is currently handling Bayern is a young manager who is not very experienced in coaching. Even so, it is still true that Bayern Munich has a very competitive player depth compared to its rivals. Bayern still has a big chance to take over the trophy that was previously taken over by Leverkusen last season. As for Borussia Dortmund, I don't see that they are one of the strong candidates in this competition. Even though, no matter how small they have a chance for that. It's just that, there are still many challenges, especially for Nuri Sahin who is the architect of the Borussia Dortmund squad. In the Leverkusen camp, Alonso's team is still one of the ones to be reckoned with in the Bundesliga. Because after all, they have quite good, solid players and of course Alonso as the strategist. It's just that, they also have a schedule in other competitions. which means, their focus will be divided in each match. even, potentially lowering performance and draining energy. but, we do not know for sure which team will be at the top of the Bundesliga standings until the end of the season. although, we all have our own predictions.
